Simi Valley Ford afforded me opportunities that no other Ford Dealer could. They went the extra mile and worked hard to earn my business. The staff were all amazing. I met the owner who was equally as friendly. Over Vista, DCH & Galpin. Simi Valley Ford put them to Shame. Did I mention I did most of the deal by text. It could have not been easier! Hands down the easiest experience I have ever had buying a car. Highly Recommended!!! read more

Car problems are never fun. However Ford's employee Isaac has made the experience so much better. My car is old, not the first time it's had problems, so I already didn't want to be there. But Isaac heard me out in what's been happening with it so he and the crew took care of everything in a timely manner. I was soon on the road again. What really stands out about Isaac is his personality and his outstanding customer service. I live in Thousand Oaks, I could easily go to a Ford much closer to home. But I'm coming back to the one in Simi because Isaac and the crew has shown me they're serious when it come to their customers. read more

I have never had a bad experience at Simi Valley Ford. Although they say no appointment necessary, I always make one so they are expecting me. Mark Nolte in service is wonderful. He checks me in promptly and is always very professional and personable. He always makes sure to call and get approval if anything extra needs to be done. I appreciate his attention to me and my car and making sure I leave a happy and returning customer! read more

They said they "scuffed" up the door but when I came to check in it, it was not what they said it was. It is a full line across the door and they did not mention how they "scuffed" up the interior. Worst Place ever!! We live 1 hour away...spoke to Tonya the internet sales rep who gave us a deal over the phone. We asked her to send us an invoice so we can make sure we will be getting the deal she had quoted us before we make our journey over there. She insisted that she just need us to be there to be able to give us the best deal ever. Let me add in that we were looking for a specific color car. And had another deal somewhere else down the street but a deal is a deal in the end so we were going to drive down there to get this amazing deal she promised us! When we get there after driving 1 hour! Guess what...the deal was WRONG! she supposedly made a mistake on how she added the numbers up! We were very specific on the phone. We had multiple conversations. Not just one. Going back and forth. So how did she get it wrong? It's as if they want you just to come down and get you in so that you will buy the car no matter what. Let me tell you after so much research we found out ALL FORDS are independently own! Not only that they didn't even make a deal at all with you really. No one wanted to even budge on the price!!! What happen to the days you could negotiate on the cost of the car! They wouldn't go down on price not one dollar!!! It's like you have to pay full price if you want a top of the line car! And let's not talk about if you have good credit! They still don't care! You pretty much will get the same exact price at any other dealer! Nothing less nothing more. So find a place with better customer service. We tried to talk to the general manager TONY and he would never get back to us! We just waited and waited. He was to scared to talk to us! all he offered us was to fill up our gas tank! Which he had someone else come tell us! Really!!!! I mean not even make an offer on the car we just drove to get here for!!! Something! I came for a car not a gas of tank! What about my Time, energy and miles I just wasted to get here! This is what I mean! You just pay for the car or not! No offer, no I'm sorry I'll make you a deal ...nothing!!! And this was there "labor day sale" what a joke! $1000 off that's it!! go get a Toyota or something else! I've had a Ford explore and a Ford Escape and now this has made me change my mind on Ford FOREVER! We weren't the only mad customers as we sat there someone else walked out because TONYA once again said they had a car in stoke that they didn't even have!!! Just trying to get you in to sell you something!!! Get out of here!!! read more

I would never suggest anyone deal with these people after my experience. Contacted them about a car on their website site. Fellow named Tyler called me back said he'd call back with info later since he was really busy at that time. (Why not call me when you are ready in the first place.) When he did call a couple days later, I told him I had already purchased a car. I don't know if he's upset or what but I have been getting numerous calls where he says "This is Tyler from Simi Valley Ford", then hangs up. Reported it to management a couple weeks ago and yet I get another hang up today. Really annoying, don't ever give your number to these people! read more

Gary Firestone was very helpful, and helped me through every step of the process. My experience was absolutely perfect.

Wonderful customer service!! Very knowledgeable about Ford products. I've purchased several vehicles from them and I've never had a problem. Car buying can be very stressful but Michael helped with the process and explained everything. Go to Simi Valley Ford for your next purchase! read more

Larry Hibbler and everyone at Simi Valley Ford are truly amazing. I send many friends and family there and they always get great deals on new cars. The service department is honest and fairly priced. I highly recommend this dealership. In addition, they are truly a part of this community. They donate lots of money to our local schools as well as many non profit organizations like Rotary, Boys and Girls Club, chamber of commerce, just to name a few. If you are looking for courteous, respectful and kind people, this is the place to shop. read more

Terrible terrible service. I brought my 60k truck in for service. Everything seemed fine when I got home I noticed my hubcap had fallen off. I called the dealer within 10 minutes notifying them what had happen. I spoke with the parts manager as well as the store manager DENA. They never called me back i had to leave work to go in there. They promised me a replacement hub cap. Been almost two months haven't heard anything I've tried calling. Being promised to get a call back still no response. I was very loyal to them but now I am taking my business to another dealer. to the MANAGEMENT shame on you for such a bad service. if I could give you a minus star I would a have done it. your service department does not deserve even a one star. read more

My husband and I went to Ford looking to buy a car. There was a car that we fell in love with!!! We test drove it, called out insurance to add onto our plan. As we were filling out paperwork, another salesman comes over and asked if ours had the key to the car we loved. He said yes and told him that we were already making a deal. The other salesman took the keys, took them for a car ride brought them back and filled out paperwork. Some how they finished 1 minutes before us and they got the car!!!! So because out salesman was a slow old man we missed out an amazing car!!!! How ridiculous is that!? He offered to show us more cars, but how would we know if that would be taken from us too. They have no respect for each other, or their customers. We went to Honda and bought a brand new car with 10 year 100,000 mile warranty and we love it. read more

If there were stars that were for the negative, I would choose -5. Where do I begin? The service Department at Simi Valley Ford is an absolute joke. From me towing my travel trailer with my family on a camping trip and both my rear wheels nearly falling off from someone neglecting to tighten them after a simple oil change and tire rotation, to today my son brought in his truck with an 11:00 appointment for a trans service to get a call at 5:00 to tell him his truck wouldn't be ready till Monday. Seriously? The truck hadn't been touched all day. No call till almost closing. Not even an "I'm sorry, we overbooked, bring it back on Monday". Not to mention the phone tree there is horrible. I've been transferred back to the service department during the day over 12 times and no one picks up the phone. Simi Ford even marks up standard Ford parts 20%. Just make a phone call. It's easy to get the retail price on any factory part. If Simi Valley Ford was the last Ford service department in the country, I would sell all my Fords and buy a good pair of walking shoes. read more

Service department! Very nice people BUT terrible customer service. I have a diesel truck and JUST for an oil change they had to keep it overnight. Communication is awful. They never tell you when they have to keep it until the last minute, you have to ask 101 questions, and after having it a day and a half they still didn't get the memo of what services I requested to have done. I even have the copy of the slip with what I wanted done. Here we are in day 2! Very frustrating and now $295 later for an oil/filter & fuel filter change. Very unhappy! read more

Blake and everyone there bent over backwards to help me. Found a great deal on an awesome hybrid. Loved the free tacos.

I wish I could give 0 stars, let's start that they didn't want my business as my lease was coming due and was treated horribly by sales manager who has a history of treating customers poorly. So since they didn't contact me and gave a bunch of excuses why I wasn't contacted when at the time my car was leased with Simi Valley Ford which is unheard of by a dealership, but I guess they sell so many cars like Galpin they can afford to let people go especially local business. I hope Larry Hibbler reads this because he'll be pissed. I ended up leasing my Fusion Energy from Sunrise Ford and did it all online and the only time I stepped foot in the dealership was to pick up my vehicle and sign paperwor, something Simi Valley Ford won't do. After that I requested to have all my emails be deleted from their system by the GM Tony who said they were, one of them didn't told Tony and he said I was now unsubscribed, well got more emails so I unsubscribed again and continue to get them. At this point this is harrassment and I will be sending these last emails to the Attorney General of California and will file a harassment suit against this scumbag dealership. They think they are untouchable but they aren't. All there sales people are worthless and don't know anything. Let's talk about the horrible ad they sent out, that will be sent to Ford Headquarters and hopefully Ford fines them or pulls there license. People were seriously affected by the fire and that stupid scumbag GM and Sales Manager had the nerve to send that out. That didn't bring them business I'm sure it lost them business and loyal customers. Avoid this dealership at all costs. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The service director, Deana never returns my calls. After my first contact with Larry Hibbler, the owner, he stopped return my calls. When I first spoke with Mr Hibbler he said he would take care of my issues, never called me back. I purchased my 2010 F-150 platinum new from Simi Valley Ford that being the second new F-150 I purchased there. I purchased a service contract when I bought the truck and had it serviced there throughout the 7 years I've owned it. They always serviced it through the Quick Lane Service and never serviced the transmission, fuel injection, cooling system, differential service, etc. so I needed to work out a schedule to handle that. But they don't seem to care enough to talk to me about that. I paid them to service the cooling system and after they were done they told me the system needed to be descaled and it would cost several hundred dollars to perform the service so the cooling system service they did had to be performed again after i spent $190.00. I was offered a credit by the service director but she never called back to finalize the service needs. Bad customer service. Bad service procedures. BEWARE! read more

I went into Simi Valley Ford for a recall item . I had to wait a month to get the appointment, and then I came in . Apparently , they were very backed up , but never told me they were , or gave me the option to come back when they were less busy . Initially they told me they could get me one day of car rental , which said I wouldn't need. My car ended up being there for a week and a half ! They were so busy they didn't start work on it until 8 days into it. They did say they could get me 4 days of rental car after the updates . Nobody apologized or told me what was really happening . When they finally started the work , they found a broken cable that they had the audacity to charge me $250 for . I complained to Ford headquarters to see if I can get reimbursed . That was a few days ago . Waiting to hear from customer service . This has happened a couple of times to me there . I'll be going to another dealership next time . read more

Simi Valley Ford sucks! I made an appointment on a Sunday afternoon to have my car serviced on Monday morning for an issue with the transmission. The employee on the other end of the phone asked detailed questions on the reason for service and then told me to be there at 7:30 AM Monday morning. When I arrived at 7:30 AM the following morning, the service department informed me: "sorry, the transmission guy does not work today." I could not leave my vehicle because I had intended to wait for it that day....and did not have a ride home (their shuttle does not travel over the hill to Chatsworth). They made no attempt to correct their error; just said "sorry, nothing we can do for you until the transmission guy is here. We could probably have someone LOOK at the car, but nothing can be done until the technician is here." Don't they have more than one person who can service a vehicle at Simi Valley Ford? Good customer service is consistent, not hit and miss. Mistakes are made, it' only human, but when this happens steps should be taken to correct the problem. Even the manager, Mark, did not try to correct the situation. He could have offered to provide me with a loaner vehicle so I could leave mine. The attitude emanates from the top down, I see. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The owner of this dealership should be ashamed of himself. Quality is NOT job-one! read more

I didn't actually purchase a car here (nor was I in the market to) so I can't give 5 stars since my experience with this company is pretty limited. What I can do is say that I came in to this Ford dealership about a month ago to take advantage of the 'Test Drive a Ford C Max and get a Free Mammoth Lift Ticket' offer and was helped out by salesman John Leach. It was quite apparent that I had no interest in buying a new/ used car and was simply there for the lift ticket but John was a cool about it and the whole office seemed pretty chill. I ended up 'rapping out' with John for about an hour talking about the C-Max and other jazz. I left happy with my Mammoth Lift ticket in hand and the sense that if I was ever in the market for a Ford (or knew anyone that was) then I would definitely be back \!!!/ read more

Simi Valley Ford Service Department lived up to the excellent reputation of the sales department. Taking your vehicle to this location is the definition of win-win! I took my Fiesta in for its first maintenance checkup on a Saturday afternoon recently. (I think most people view taking a car in for service in the same way they look at having to go to the dentist - something to try to avoid and, if that doesn't work, just get through it without too much discomfort and pain.) My experience at the Simi Valley Ford Service Dept. was beyond pleasant. They were friendly, professional, trustworthy, and extremely accommodating. I traveled from West Hills to get there - and the trip was well worth it. Although I have other options for servicing my car (including Ford Dealerships that are closer to my home and work), Simi Valley Ford Service is the place to go - a destination location for car service. And one thing I love is that it is located a few minutes from the famous Simi Valley $3 Movie Theater - Simi Valley 10 | Tristone Cinemas. The Ford shuttle took me to the movie theater, and when the movie let out, the shuttle was waiting for me! The driver said, "I thought I would get here a little early to make sure you didn't have to wait." And, by the way, the movie was great too :-) When it comes to servicing your car, you can't beat this experience. Truthfully, I never thought I would spend time writing a review FOR a dealership service place. But here I am - they deserve it. read more

My wife and I showed up fully prepared to purchase or lease an Explorer. We were greeted by an individual that looked no more than 15 years old. He basically told us he was there just to kill some time before he started school again. We asked to look at some Explorers and he directed us to the back of the lot and told us he would grab some keys so we could take a look inside. He ran back to get the keys but when he returned to us he had all the wrong keys. He went back a 2nd time this time returning with 3 sets of keys. He then hands us all 3 sets and tells us to go ahead and take a look and that he had to go finish something. Only one key matched the 5 Explorers on the lot and it was to the car we weren't interested in. At this point I tell him I have driven Fords all my life and just wanted to run some numbers. We head inside and he directs us to the smallest office, if you want to call it that, that had a wooden desk from the 70's in it and 2 dirty old office guest chairs. Also sitting on one of the book cases was a tupperware bowl filled with left over pasta. At this point I should of left but I decided to give the kid a chance because he was a nice kid. We sat there for 25 minutes as we waited for the Sales Manager to run the numbers. After 25 minutes we got out and told the kid to call us with the numbers but that we didn't have all day. He relays the message back to the Sales manager who I could see now just lounging behind another janky desk in the corner of the main office. The SM then whispers to the kid, which I could easily hear what he was saying, "Fine, let em go." As I'm driving out the kid comes up to my window and says that he had numbers. He gives me a monthly on a lease and tells me thats the best they can do. I told him when his Sales Manager wanted to talk serious numbers, he could call me. 12 hours and still no call. If you like terrible service, outdated sales offices, slimy car salesmen, and people that don't want your business, then Simi Ford is for you. read more

I don't usually give 5 stars, but Simi Ford deserves the recognition for the 5 star service my wife and I received this weekend. I didn't know it could be so easy purchase a car. This was by far the best experience. Chris(sales manager) and John (sales consultant) did an awesome job defining, suggesting, and committing to the best deal possible. Never did I feel intimidated or rushed to make a decision. If I had a question, it was answered. If I had a suggestion, it was considered. Good Job Simi Ford. read more

I realize that a coupon, which promises something for FREE, is an enticement to get a person to come into the store and PURCHASE something in order to redeem the free item or service. I brought a coupon for a free oil change to Simi Valley Ford. Mark, in the service bay, was very friendly and professional. After a few suggestions, over the phone, of items that would need to be replaced in the near future (air filter, brake fluid, and a battery) I picked up my car. The service was free, as promised. While I know that they were hoping that I might take advantage of the opportunity to replace other items during my oil change, there was no pressure to do so. I will definitely be back to Simi Valley Ford for ALL of my service needs. I hope that they will consider their generosity to be an investment in the future relationship that they have established with me. read more

We were in the market for a new car. We went to Simi Ford to check them out. From past experience, I hate going to the dealerships because I don't like things being sold to me. The moment you walk out on the lot it's like a bunch of vultures ready to attack you. We were helped by Loren and he was actually very nice and helpful. Wasn't pushy at all. He answered every question we had. The test drive went really well and they had a lot of different options we could have chosen from. We made an offer but weren't able to make a deal with them. We weren't that far off in price ($400) but the car was missing a key feature for me so I didn't want to pay more than a certain amount. Even though we didn't buy from Simi Ford we had a good experience. read more

If Yelp would allow me. I would give them zero stars. I walked on the lot just as they where getting ready to close prepared to buy a new Ford Explorer, and I was met by some ball of fire named Lawrence. Told him What I was looking to buy a vehicle. I even provided him with numbers that a dealer down south had just text me. I explained to him I live 5 minutes away and would rather keep my business in town. He told me he would have to find me the vehicle with the options I wanted and would call me the next day. I don't hear from the guy so after two days I drop two calls into the guy. He finally calls me back a day later and tells me he is trying to get numbers on the deal from the Owner and would call me the next day. Again I explain to him as soon as he gets me the numbers I would be down to pick up the vehicle. Days and two weeks go by and I never her back him. I called Galpin Ford in the Valley, and the next day went down and picked up a new 2015 Explorer got a great deal and more options then I has originally looking for. Not only that I just went down and purchased a F150 STX form them, and I took a buddy that also bought a truck. Great Job Lawrence! YOU LOST 3 DEALS... Fantastic experience! My husband and I had every intention of buying a car at Galpin Ford. We went into Simi Ford looking for an appraisal on what we would get on our trade-in before we went. However, my husband ended up meeting Luis and the sales manager, Henry, and was quickly convinced that this was the place that we were going to buy our car. Luis was friendly, not pushy, and just sincerely wanting to help us find a good deal. The sales manager, Henry, worked with my husband to find the car that we wanted and contacted every dealership and distribution center that he could to get the exact car I wanted. Due to low inventory EVERYWHERE for the car I wanted, both Luis and Henry offered me a great deal because I was having to settle for something that wasn't "perfect". I was willing to change my mind on my perfect color car when they gave me a deal for one that had better features, but not the color I had originally wanted. Beanie, in the finance office, was a gem. Sweet, funny, and organized, she made the buying process clear and quick. We got a great deal, good service, and met nice people.
