I have been to multiple dealers in the last week, all of which were really disappointing. The typical skeezy sales guys that I've come to expect from car dealerships. The tried and true bait and switch technique offering you one trade-in value, and then you get down there and they rug pull you and offer you 10 K less. This was the fourth dealership I went to within four days, and I had nothing but good experiences with their staff. I bought my previous F250 from this dealership five years ago. Even when I was out of warranty and over mileage and my truck experienced a very expensive service, the sales manager Joe negotiated with Ford corporate on my behalf and ended up saving me almost 50% off the service. They even let me keep the truck there for almost a month while I was coming up with the money to pay for it. When the day came to pick up the truck, they even took another $500 off, I was shocked. To be honest, I wasn't thinking about coming back, I was gonna get a GMC. But at the last second while I was at the GMC dealership one block away I decided to take a look at their trucks. They offered me significantly more for my trade-in value than all of the other dealerships I had been to. They did the majority of the deal over the phone after I did the test drive and left, and I really felt like they actually cared. When it came time to do the deal, I showed back up to a detailed truck, waited a little while until they were ready to have me sign the paperwork, and I was done. Buying a car can be a pain in the butt, and I never totally feel like I can trust the sales people or the dealerships to be honest and not take advantage of me. But I genuinely feel like this dealership is doing the best they can. I read some of the other reviews before I'm writing this one, and I don't know how people are having a bad experience. Maybe their expectations are different than mine, I'm not sure. But I've had nothing but good experiences through two vehicle purchases and the entire service history of my last truck, including one major service, which they split the bill with me for. I doubt they're doing that very often, but it was a significant bill, I wouldn't have been able to do it without that. I will definitely be back for all my service on the new truck and for future ford purchases in the future, if I'm still in the area. My sales guy was Steven and the assistant manager who also helped out with the deal was Colton. Good guys, and it's appreciated. read more

Set up an appointment with an employee over the phone (Joseph). Told us we would be meeting with either Mike or Colton. Upon arrival was told they weren't in today and they had no idea who Joseph was. They told us they would not help us and wouldn't even look at our car we were selling and the MANAGER proceeded to cus us out. Real professional place. read more

One last try... I've given this dealership several chances to service my ford and non ford vehicles. they seem to always take one step forward and 3 steps back! I really believe it's the ownership and the inability to hire reliable people to do the repairs. This puts the advisors in an awkward position and they've had to cover for these people sooo many times they have become short and defensive for their companies short comings. it shouldn't take 4 hours to have your oil changed with a scheduled appointment and if it does they should call me to explain this so I don't end up wasting my Saturday waiting for a car to be serviced which 3 hours later they hadn't even started servicing! I WILL NOT be going back here again, again for the 3rd time. Especially after they say "give us another try, we've changed". Nothing changed here just more of the same bad service! Eric R read more

Service Manager Brian followed up after my review to make the effort and turn the experience around. He offered to pick up the truck or drop it off and give a rental. I scheduled the drop off 2 days later first thing in the morning. Once I arrived- I was not on the schedule and referred them to Brian as techs were unaware what service to provide and scrambled for a rental since nothing was notated. Since inspection fee was paid on last visit, they completed it in full this time with the result of rodent damage. Needless to say, we did have to pay with a minor discount given and was done same day. The overall experience from first visit to this one was unfortunate due to lack of communication that made it unnecessarily inconvenient on how things were handled. What we've learned from this experience- never purchase extended warranty, avoid repairs at dealership as they are double+ the cost from mechanic and if anything, just stick to the general routinely maintenance with minimal customer service expected. Thanks for trying Brian. read more

Typical bait and switch dealership. They'll give you one price to get you in the door and then when you come in to sign the paperwork it changes. I had two cars to trade in so I understand there may have been confusion in which car I was bringing in, however the price difference in payment was $30, then when I come in to make the deal the price difference is almost $100 because they say they didn't know which car I was bringing in. Their logic makes no sense and they wasted half my day knowing they weren't going to give me the deal they offered. read more

This company claims privacy is the utmost important for them ! What a joke ! My husband ask them to give us a copy of the contract and they refused. They needed to give us a copy plain and simple. Also if Privacy was important to them why would they negotiate and ask all my info via text messages that my husband send to them. I guess if they are selling a car and making money then it's okay . But if we needed a copy of the contract now it's not okay . This is why they have so much bad reviews. Don't buy from this place . read more

After a some what bad experience,my wife and I went back to Price Ford on Super Bowl Sunday. A big Thank You goes out to Sales Manager Kris Wardak and the unbelievable sincere apology we received from him. Our Salesman Eric Rhoads was the best, easy going low key and no pressure sales pitch. Everything went great and was a pleasure doing business locally for a change. Give Price Ford a chance to sell you your next vehicle. RECALLS!!!!! What a pain in the A**!!!! You have to schedule a day, leave your vehicle and hope to get it back the same day. Not to mention being shuttled back and forth! Had 2 recalls on my 21 F150. Called service to schedule and was informed for these 2 recalls they could send a mechanic to me. WTF???? I had NEVER heard of this before. I apprehensively said okay, knowing in the back of my head this probably wouldn't work out. WOW, did they ever prove me wrong. Scheduled a 10:30a. At 10:30a, the guy was at my gate. Introduced himself as Matt. Very polite and professional. Informed me to replace my wiper motor and address possible wire chafing on my E brake would take him about 45 minutes. About 11:10a Matt was done and on his way!! I truly hope this is a service they keep at least for the constant recalls. MATT WAS AWESOME!!!! read more

My Price Ford experience. Oh no, CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM light. Better check the battery and alternator with a meter. Hmm. Voltages good. Check it again at a friend's shop. Good to go. Looks like back to the dealer experts. Next day, new alternator, throw in sparks plugs at 100k. Car is ready sir. $1895. Wow, okay I know dealer is always high. Pick up car. On the way home... CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM LIGHT ON!!!! . Back to dealer. It's the wiring harness. 475. Okay fix it. Callback, sorry sir that didn't fix it. It's the power controller computer. 1100 ... just fix it and I don't believe the alternator was bad. Pd another $1625 Three weeks later, okay we got it fixed. Pick up car. On the way home... CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM LIGHT ON!!!! . Back to dealer. Called Ford corporate and California Bureau of Auto Repairs and register complaints. 2 more alternators replaced, a month in the shop. Car finally fixed with an aftermarket alternator directed by engineers at Ford. Fought for 30 days to get a refund on second invoice of $1625. Both parts replaced were tested to be okay by Florida PCM shop. Ford corporate [not dealer] authorized refund and was paid back $1625. Time frame. Halloween to New Years No experts, just part grenades at my expense. Had to fight for that refund. read more

I had a great experience from the Service Department at Price ford of Simi valley. Brian Leonard and Carmen Chavarria were very helpful, professional and looked out for my best interest. They put the customer first and Ford should be proud of them. read more

Terribly rude customer service. Sierra who works at the front desk doesn't seem to understand what is and is not appropriate to say to customers. I recently came in and was quoted a certain price for roaters from another front desk employee, fast forward a couple months and I came in again to purchase parts and see if all 4 roaters were needed or if just the front or back were needed. All 4 were needed, but I got quoted a price that was double the original price from my previous visit. When I pointed this out and showed her the paperwork quoting a different price from another employee (who still works there), she stated, "Well you don't have to buy them here." Extremely rude and unnecessary comment. I was under the impression that they wanted business, but I guess I can thank her for making it clear that they don't. Will happily take my business elsewhere. read more

Can't recommend the sales team here enough. Colton and his associates gave me the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. No mark ups for useless crap like other dealerships, reasonably priced, didn't waste my time or theirs, & very easy to work with. I brought my truck in for electrical damage caused by rodents, fully understanding that a thorough damage assessment would come at a hefty price. To cover the costs, I submitted an insurance claim, which, of course, was approved. However, when I picked up my truck, I was shocked to see even more rodent damage than when I dropped it off. When I listed the new damage--including rat feces, urine, chewed belongings, and parts of the truck that weren't even touched--it became glaringly obvious that all of this happened on their property. I was told the staff was too scared to remove the rodent, afraid it might jump out at them. So instead, they left me with a bigger mess. Despite being charged for a full damage assessment, the only area that was touched was under the dashboard--nothing else was looked at. When I brought up my concerns about the safety of my truck, Brian, the manager, responded with, "The truck runs fine. You brought it in for electrical damage, didn't we fix that? We aren't exterminators. It's not our job to remove its nest and find out where the rat is getting in. What, did you expect us to detail your car, too?" His response was not only dismissive, but downright disrespectful. Brian insulted me, talked down to me, and used my gender to undermine my concerns. He made it clear that my safety, my concerns, and my ability to understand the situation were of no importance. His attitude was rude and condescending, and it was obvious that making me feel foolish was his priority. This was not just poor customer service; it was blatant disregard for safety and basic professionalism. read more

**Service Department** review: 5 stars. The staff is not at fault for this rating. I have to say that my handful of experiences with the service personnel at Price Ford has been mostly positive. The people are great, friendly, and it's clear to me that they've been trained to go the extra mile. Think old school full service gas stations back in the 50s (or so I've seen on TV). Best I can tell, they are earning their salaries and are deserving. **Ownership Review: Here, my issue is quite simple. I cannot believe you charged me 3% to use my credit card. First of all, no one told me that you were going to assess this. This is a MUST. I don't carry a debit card all the time let alone cash (since you don't take checks). I cannot imagine that you are running 1000s of transactions daily that would require to you to pass down your transaction fee to me. I am also confident that you aren't getting dinged for 3% by Visa or Mastercard. So, IMO you are profiting on this bogus charge. I get that a local mom-and-pop doesn't have the margins to absorb service charges on 100s of transactions daily, but a multi-million dollar dealership is another story. Bottom line: Mr. and/or Mrs. Price: you won't see me again. read more

I bought my Explorer from this location and felt an obligation to get my SUV serviced at this location. Today is my last day. The experience is list of disappointments. It started with me going in to get a phantom light that would not turn off fixed, along with a tire sensor battery being replaced, and a check on my rear view camera software update--initially they told me it was a sign that my transmission is going out but once I told them I have an extended warranty it was only a simple software update. Cut to hours later I heard nothing from my service representative, Troy. Although he said he would get me my car back by the end of the day (I dropped it off in the morning), I didn't hear from him all day. The service shop closed and I had to call the next morning. I was told that the tech was looking at it, but no further details. I was told I would hear back by 10:00am. I had to call at 12:30 only to learn that Troy was at lunch, and he would call me in about 20 minutes. Somewhere around 2:30 I heard my car was ready. I arrived at 4:30 to find that nothing was done. According to Troy, the camera software update was completed (it wasn't), he tried to gaslight me and say that the phantom light that no longer turned off is normal, which is absurd. And the best bit is even though they knew my car is under an extended warranty, I now had to pay for my tire sensor because it was not covered in my fully covered warranty. The best bit is my Explorer now has three tire sensors out, so that's great. I honestly let my car with the Ford dealership service department at Price Ford in Simi Valley for over a day and it came back worse then I left it. Do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else. read more

Worse customer service at the service department. No Shuttles, no loaner cars. ***update*** This portion applies to service department. When I purchased the Bronco, it was raised by the dealership but when I left dealership we discovered the tire sensors were not working with the new, bigger tires. After much back and forth with my local Ford dealership that's closer to my house, I contacted Brian and his crew about the issue. I wanted to share with you that from the initial contact to your dealership, the young man that took my call and booked the appointment to the exceptional service provided by service advisor Mr. H.J, I feel blessed that I found SimiVally Ford online. I know businesses depend on exceptional client service and your dealership has earned our trust and our business. Please accept my humble gratitude to the service department staff. The service department is terrible. Other than your basics, oil change -tire rotation we have to always bring our car in multiple times for an issue. We can't get a recall on our wipers done. Just left the Simi Valley Ford dealership, went to pick up my car after dropping it off this morning because my check engine light turned on. After a few hours I received a call saying that my vehicle was going to need a few things done - $1,100 plus of repairs my husband told them he had purchased the extended warranty when we bought the car and it should be covered? They said they did not see any coverage? We called the dealer where we bought the car - the car is covered ? So I get it Simi Valley Ford since I did not buy the car with you my Ford Extended Warranty is not valid is that it ? Oh and another thing we have a good friend that has a car service repair shop, my husband took it to him just to get a second opinion turns out the part to fix my car is only $52 dollars? I took my truck elsewhere and got it repaired and oil changed for less than what I was quoted for the part alone. It was also done in less than a day when ford said it was going to take 2-3 after waiting a week for my truck just be be put in queue (they had the part on day two). I would like to add that I left a message with the manager because the number was listed on a whiteboard in the waiting room. I just wanted to explain my experience in hopes that they would commit to doing better for the next customer. I was told he would look into it and call me back. It's been weeks. No call back. read more

Super disappointed the service team here, I brought my truck in for the first service about 3 months ago asked for them to change air filter and cabin filter and oil change. Well only thing I got was an oil change after asking them there excuse was "we forgot sorry, we'll make it up on the next one". Well Saturday was the "next one" and they let me down again, service writer didn't take my name just company info ask them to do their multipoint inspection didn't happen, they printed the old inspection form from last time only reason I knew because it had old mileage from last service! Then best part, next service tag was printed with the wrong mileage when clearly the mileage on dash was greater than sticker! Clearly someone doesn't give a crap! I purchased my ranger raptor last June 22, 2024 with the condition that they will install a bed extender on it. It's been more than 4 months and I haven't received the bed extender. If they only ordered it from Ford Parts , it would only take 2 weeks. I've been talking to Richard (parts)and Henry (sales) and still no ETA on my bed extender. I've been trying to get hold of Mark (owner) to get some help and no avail. The brand new truck's window and and mirror was not working when I purchased it, and when I brought it to be fixed, they scratched my brand new truck's interior like they didn't care with the fact that it's brand new! I took delivery of a commercial vehicle at this dealership. The journey of my vehicle to this dealership was long and complicated and no fault of Price Ford. That said, once my vehicle arrived at their dealership, they did not notify me. That's OK, mistakes happen let's move on... I called the dealership. Let them know my vehicles there and I need to take delivery. The dealership advised me there was some paperwork that was needed, so I reached out to my company and the leasing coordinator to get that ironed out with the dealership. On a courtesy delivery wouldn't you expect the dealership to manage the paperwork? Nope, apparently that is my job? Finally, the day comes that I'm gonna pick up this vehicle. Did they wash it? No. Did they mount the front license plate holder? No. Was my vehicle missing accessories listed on the sticker? Yes. wWas there damage to a brand new vehicle that they knew about? Yep. Did they mention it? Of course not. Overall Price Ford had a opportunity to turn an already frustrating experience with Ford motor company into a positive experience with a local dealership. They dropped the ball. Not only did they make this more difficult than it needed to be, there was no follow through with anything on their end. This review does not apply to their service department or customer retail sales, this is related to commercial vehicle sale/pick up... but would you expect your experience to be any better? read more

I had a so called complete service on my car. They were supposed to rotate the tires. My dash monitor showed one of my tires was at a lower pressure when I went in. I opted not to. After I left I took out the air filter. It was hardly dirty. All I got was an oil change for the ramped up price, along with a list of things they wanted to do totaling $270.
