WARNING! SIMI FORD FAILS!! Worst experience ever at Simi Valley Ford. They have had my car for over a week claiming they couldn't find part locally (fuel module) and it was back ordered for 3-4 weeks. I finally called myself this morning as ray was handling it prior. I asked why, if they couldn't find it locally, why didn't they get the part elsewhere and just pay for 1 or 2 day shipping? They had no reply for that. I told them to give me name of part and I would call and look for it. First place I called, Galpin Ford, boom they had it. I then called Simi back and asked them to send someone to pick up part since I didn't have a car. Mark said they couldnt because they would probably ask for ID and I lmao cause why would they ask for ID, it's only a part. Needless to say, not only did he intentionally give me the wrong part# so I would think Galpin didnt have the part but my husband had to drive to Galpin, after driving in from Santa Barabara, to pick up part and deliver it back to Simi. Lo and behold part is delivered and it happens to be the right part. So, not only did I have to call around to find part for my car, my husbad had to pick it up and deliver to dealership. When asked what kind of discount we could expect, they said none. After arguing back and forth with manager Dave and getting nowhere, my husband said never again will we use Simi Ford for repairs. What was manager Dave's response? That's fine with me, we dont need your business. Now as a sales person for 21 yrs this angers me so much. I have never seen such rudeness, and failure to complete basic job requirements as I've seen today. I truly believe that manager should be fired. Instead of trying to understand where we were coming from, his recourse was to belittle and have a FU attitude. Well, we all know how I feel about people like that. You better believe I will spread the word of how a local resident of 42 years was treated today. Simi Ford = FAIL Manager Dave = FAIL Customer Service = FAIL read more

I took my 2015 F-250 truck to be serviced. Oil change plus my fuel filter changed. 291 dollars which is normal for that truck but my truck was brought up front for me to take away when I notice oil and grease hand prints all over the grill and hood of my truck. I showed the person the brought my truck what it looked like and he went and got his service manager. As I was waiting for him to show I notice because my truck is lifted that the person that was servicing it was standing on my chrome bumper and had scratched the bumper with the movement back and forth. Now I was very mad. The services manager came I showed him he took my truck back cleaned it off brought it back. He was very nice but they've lost my trust and I'll be going else where with my truck and Other ford SUV. Jiffy lube don't stand on bumpers. read more

Avoid this dealership for service! I recently took my car in to Simi Valley Ford for an oil change. I've been trying to give them a chance to earn back my business from previous negative experiences I've had. When I picked up my car I was given another laundry list of things that need to be done on my car. Today, a few weeks later, I get an email from them telling me that my battery may need to be replaced soon, and to consult with my service advisor regarding my tires and brakes. Well, I just bought a new battery four months ago. Not from Simi Valley Ford because I don't trust them. I just bought new tires six months ago. Not from Simi Valley Ford because I don't trust them. I have not had any problems with my brakes but I'll have them double-checked. Not at Simi Valley Ford because I don't trust them. About the previous negative experience I had with them: Several years ago I used to take my cars to them for regular maintenance. Until one Friday night I replaced the windshield wipers on my car, and the following morning they told me I needed new windshield wipers, as well as a bunch of other maintenance, on my car. When I asked them why they recommended new wipers the service advisor flatly stated "Because you need them". Oh, really? I just put new wipers on the car last night! "blah blah blah, something about mileage and/or the last time THEY replaced them" You didn't really inspect ANYTHING on my car, did you? You're just writing up as many things as you can, throwing it at the wall and seeing what sticks. I WAS giving them a chance to earn my trust back, and now this. Nothing has changed. Simi Valley Ford continues to try to sell unnecessary parts and/or services. read more

Another seriously disappointing experience with the service department here at Simi Valley Ford. The only efficient system Is their shuttle service. I would expect to be out of a job if I ran my business this way. Amazing! read more

Very unimpressed with the service, seems like they take twice as long as promised, always trying to sell extras that I feel is not needed, hopeful they will improve since it is so convenient for me to have my cars serviced there. read more

I have had once again the worst possible experience at Ford. I am done giving them chances like the owner Larry begs me to do. They have had my car for 3 days now and finally call to tell me the battery was bad and now they can't find the sensor problems in the starter chip. I am out 3 days of a car rental and they could care less. Shameful and horrible. read more

I purchased a 2014 Ford Flex in mid January '18 and worked with the salesman, Ben Rostami. Mr. Rostami showed me a cracked window frame on the rear left side of the vehicle. When I began to show a genuine interest in the vehicle, he promised to "switch it out" when another used Flex became available for purchase. I dropped my Flex off for service so that they could address some rear camera issues on March 25th and noticed a 2014 Flex on the lot. I e-mailed Mr. Rostami, reminding him of his promise and requesting, if possible, to address both issues (camera and frame) while the Flex was in service. It is now April 11th and he has not responded. I stopped by the lot on April 2nd to inquire why I had still not received papers for registration from DMV. I asked if Mr. Rostami was available and learned that he was off for a few days. However, Mr. Rostami has had adequate time to respond before his absence and upon his return as well. Service has informed me that the replacement part and labor would cost $242.00. I will not work with this business for service or future purchases unless this issue is addressed. It seems that Mr. Rostami easily makes promises he has no intention of keeping. read more

Raffia was very knowledgeable, efficient and fast ! Great customer service from the whole staff!!

Heres the thing. This was my first time buying a vehicle. Ever. So I may or may not have real "experience" but my Dad had my back and everything went solid. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that I financed my car entirely through my Bank (Chase if you're curious). Walking in, I let them know first and foremost that I would not be needing their financial services. Foot Down, no further questions. I got a 2009 Sedan with 36,000 miles for the advertised price of $9,995. I was happy with the price so there was no negotiating necessary. The Sales Manager Larry was great! Not at all pushy and I walked away with the car I've wanted since August. All in all I came armed with my own financing so I didn't have to deal with the bitter taste of negotiating, I knew exactly what I wanted, did my Car homework, and I didn't get royally screwed. I did have a very fast brief exchange with the Finance Manager who actually sounded very.. Um.. Typical of his kind "Why not finance through us? Why mess around with a bank? [Enter pushy salesman banter here]" but since I was dead set on my own financing he was as easy to avoid as it is to be Mario running under Bowser to save Princess Peach (Toad?) in World 1-1. In general I highly recommend taking your own financing to any dealership to avoid the hassle, that is if you can get an awesome rate-- In my case I did, and know exactly what you're looking for when car buying. The end. *Cue Mario sliding down flag pole & end of World 1-1 music with the Firework bonus points. read more

I have read the earlier comments on this dealership, specifically the service department. I must say that everybody that I talked to, from beginning to end, was very polite. I called in on a Friday morning about an issue, and spoke with Brenda. She was very nice, and they got me in the same morning. I spoke with the service writer, Keith. He was initially a bit brash, but to the point and concise. He called me back with updates on my vehicle and explained everything done. My service was completed in a timely manner, and all work seems to be done correctly. As for sales, I dealt with Tom, who is a very personable guy. He was very respectful to my family and kids, which is very important to me. I also spoke with a few managers during my purchase, and they were all pleasant. I would recommend forming your own opinion of this dealership, as everybody and every situation is different.... don't let the negative responses prevent you from (at minimum) giving them a shot. read more

SV Ford had to replace my CD player becuase it was not reading CDS. I got the call that my truck was ready, after a long days work I went to pick it up, and left waiting for at least 30mins before they came to tell me my truck would not start. Another 30 minutes, the kill switch was on because they disconnected they battery. For about two months the console would go in and out of operation. Like everyone I am very busy; a single mom of 2 (husband deployed), 10hr workdays, a student, and kids sports kept me too busy to take it back right away. Plus it was during the holidays. On day after a crazy long stressful day at work I get in my truck and the radio is blasting super loud, there's a banging in my dash, and none of the buttons work. I drive straight to SV Ford listening to static and yelling commercials in traffic. I don't turn the truck off so they can finally witness the malfunction. NO HELP. It takes longer than a week and half before they call to tell me it's going to be ready. I scheduled a shuttle pick up on Friday for Monday after work. I left work early and coordinated the kids schedule all for the shuttle to be 45 mins late. I pick my truck up and the next day I notice dust and dirt all in my truck, almost like sand. There was so much dust all over the doors and seats like they had kept the doors open or something. It was horrible and got my clothes all dirty. AND MY CONSOLE DIDN'T GET FIXED. IF IT DOESN'T WORK THEY TOLD ME TO GO BACK The overall experiance made things so much harder, the least they could have done was wash/detail my truck. Heck I even paid for an oil change while it was there. read more

I had a good experience with this dealer. I had been using the ford dealer in Thousand Oaks but after having poor communication I decided to give another dealer a chance. I had Micheal help me out he is a nice guy and no pressure for the sale. I would recommend to friends and family. read more

We came over to check out the c-max today....it was such an awful experience. The salesperson did not listen to what we were asking for. I know they could have located what we wanted and dealer traded for what we wanted. There was no attempt in getting what we were looking for. The sales person was very unprofessional. I am in the car industry and I was shocked at how they gave a quote on a payment for a car that WE DIDNT WANT....They never listened to what we wanted...Beware. read more

They were fine. The sales process was perfectly fine and pretty easy. We were trying to get out from under our car loan and told them straight away "If you guys can do it, we're willing to sign." Unfortunately, while the salesman was a nice, good guy (Tom Lynch), when we got to talking about financing, the numbers just weren't there. I understand this isn't really their part, but once we said that we weren't willing to come in with a large amount because we might as well just pay down our car and refinance at that point, they got really pushy. After that it was a rather unpleasant experience and I finally had to say "I don't like the car for that price per month." I'd probably buy from them under different circumstances, but the finale definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

DO NOT go to Simi Valley Ford!!! This place has screwed me, my family as well as several friends over on a number of occasions. So I Understand if you have a Ford in need of service you assume the dealership would be the best way to go. I can PROMISE you it is NOT worth it. This place has completely robbed me and it's not the first time. I needed a few things serviced on my vehicle that amounted to 2,000 dollars which is absolutely outrageous to begin with. Once "my vehicle was ready" I realized I was over charged for labor fees and they kept my car a complete entire day after telling me it was done at 930am that morning. They went back on what they said and didn't let me come get it til 530pm. So now it was time to speak to the infamous Deana Lovell about my concerns. The pathetic excuse of a service department manager which from everything I've read on Yelp and in experience, couldn't be more useless to this company in fact actually hurting their business. For 3 hours we went round and round while she insulted laughed and even threw my paper work at the cashier. And in her own words said "I'm done with them get them out of here. They can pay or not take their car home!!" At that point I told her I'd like to speak with the owner because clearly her unprofessional psychotic actions where getting out of hand. Well let's just say he was just as useless. I was never refunded for the wrongful charge of labor and had to walk away after 4 hours of bs. They continued to tell lie after lie. So after my family has been seeing this dealership for 20 years, purchasing 4 vehicles from them, as well as having every single service done with them this is the end. We will never be going back and I PROMISE everyone will hear about it. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE it is not worth it. Thee worst costumer service I've ever experienced in my entire life. read more

Isaac, Carmen, Mark, Keith have been a joy to work with in service. Special thanks to Isaac for taking care of me.

I had an emergency with my car today. Wasn't reading key, so my husband said run by Ford since you're in Simi. Finally started at Costco but was afraid to stop anywhere. Drove into service bay, first it took forever to get help. Asked if they could just check, of course I knew I couldn't leave it there. Just wanted to know if I could get home. About 8 years ago my husband and I purchased a vehicle from Simi Valley Ford. We got a good deal back then and now that we live in Simi Valley, we decided when it was time to get another new car we returned to Simi Valley Ford. Our rep was Danny Jones this time and he was fantastic! Was not pushy or salesy at all he simply let us check out the car, drive the car and determine if the numbers made sense. He did a great job of keeping us busy with small talk, made us feel very relaxed through the process, as we waited for the paperwork, etc. At the end of the day we felt like we were just hanging out at the dealership, traded in our old car and left with a new car. Got a great deal in a hassle-free environment. Couldn't be happier with our Flex :) Thanks again Danny Jones! read more

Worst customer service experience ever. Their service department was extremely rude and unhelpful. I went in on a Sat to schedule an appointment for my A/C that was not working. Girl in service department said she was closed for the day. Yes it was 4 on a Sat but according to their hours they are available until 5. Told me first available appt would be following Wed. Never looked at calendar, never smiled, continued basically ignoring me. I asked for service manager. Shortly after a woman approached me. Never smiled, never introduced herself, just made excuses for her employees bad attitude. Bad representation for Ford! I am sure they could hire some new employees who want to work. read more

Update: the owner of dealership contacted me the next morning after my review. He listened, was understanding and asked for me to give them another chance. He put me in touch with a different service advisor, Mark. Mark reached out to me right away, kept me updated of when the part I was waiting on would be in and when it did arrive. I dropped off the car again to get the repair done and Mark was fantastic to work with. The car took an extra day to repair BUT Mark told me early the first day that it looked like they needed the additional time. The extra time was completely fine especially with him communicating the status. The car was repaired and works like it should. I couldn't be happier with the all around service experience with Mark. I'm glad I was put in contact with him. He is my go to service advisor from here on. Simi Ford will have my service business for my 2 Ford vehicles. ------------ I can't say enough good things about Simi Valley Ford sales team, they are top notch. Unfortunately my review and one star is because of Simi Valley Ford service. If you want a terrible experience with a service advisor go see Carmen in service. If you want to be talked to as though you are inconveniencing someone to get your vehicle fixed see Carmen. If you want someone to talk down to you, we'll see Carmen. I brought my 4 week old vehicle in for warranty service. I was happy enough to bring it in and drop it off for the day and I do understand parts can be faulty from the factory. Service Advisor Carmen was extremely curt and seemed inconvenienced that I needed to have my vehicle serviced. I'm hoping that using a different service advisor brings a better result for me. Carmen is the exact reason why I wouldn't want to bring my vehicle in for normal scheduled service but would rather take it elsewhere, even if another dealer. I think there needs to be a emphasis in the term "service" in the job title. You're servicing the vehicle but also the client needs to feel that they matter. read more

Not amazed that these guys have 2.5 star average. Spoke with Mark in Sevice on Monday about bringing truck in. Said that he would call me next day. I told him that I needed truck to be seen and fixed by Thursday of the next week. He said that shouldn't be a problem and that he'd get with me next day. Tuesday comes and no call. I call Wednesday morning - no return call at all that day. I call Thursday morning at 8am ask for Mark again, no answer and leave another VM. I call back at 10:15am and ask to speak with anyone since Mark was unresponsive. I get Christy, who was less than friendly, not mean, but rushed and not sympathetic or apologetic for lack of support by others on her team. She then tells me that earliest she can get me in is 2 weeks. I said that didn't align with what I was told by Mark and she said, "sorry that's what the Sevice manager is telling me!" In a very "take it or leave it buddy-tone". If they would have told me that Monday I could have looked elsewhere but instead they strung me along and wasted a week of time to get truck serviced. I know everyone is working harder under these Covid times but those that are in customer service should remember that they are in customer service and be nicer and more importantly be more honest around capabilities during these times! read more

The worst thing about this dealership is they don't seem to care if you are unhappy with your experience. The service manager gave me a complimentary oil change due to some shady business in their service department that I caught them on several times, which I thought made things a little better at the time. It ended up expiring without a warning or an actual expiration date attached, so I had asked the service manager if they would mind reinstating it for me being it was a gift to make up for bad experiences. She told that she couldn't help me and that if I wanted I could talk to the owner. The owner was not available..... Of course, and I was told they would call me personally. A few hours later a assistant called me and said the owner said they could not help me due to it expiring. WOW!!!! Really? After all the thousands of dollars I have spent there on my problematic f250 diesel (which is a money pit) and you can't reinstate a $150 oil change that was given to me by a manager to make things right? I will have to go to another dealership or Vince's in the valley I guess. Sad you can't have a positive relationship with your local company as I am a big supporter of this! If you read this FORD I'm always open to making things right and am very fair even when things don't go entirely my way! What is FAIR is FAIR!!!!!!! read more

Worst experience with my car I've ever had. My car completely stopped working and I only took it here because I suspected it was a problem with my transmission( which I had a recall on). After having my car for 5 days they finally agreed to give me a rental and even at that it was guaranteed they were going to cover it even though the reason they had my car so long was because the part was back ordered. A week later I get a call that the part is there and being replaced, later that afternoon I get another call saying the part is defective and it will be another week! Seriously?! Finally picked my car up today and it's filthy and part of my steering wheel padding is chipped off. I've never had such a horrible experience. Definitely will not be buying another ford. read more

Christian & Simon we're both involved in my deal. I've been trying to by a transit 250 for about a year now here at my local dealership in Santa Barbara with no success. Dealership didn't want to offer me a good deal. On Sunday I contacted Simi Valley and was interested in a transit 250 they had for sale. They guaranteed me that they would provide me with the best price and they weren't wrong about that. Christoper was extraordinarily profesional as well as Simon who assisted in the financing. Needless to say I left with the van of my dreams for my business. After I signed my deal Christoper single handedly offered to bring my personal truck back to Santa Barbara so I could drive my brand new Transit home. Like seriously ??? This has never happened to me before. Don't get me wrong I love my dodge pro masters but I wanted a change and thanks to Christoper and Simon that was possible. I will now be recommending all my friends and family to purchase a car from this dealership although it's definitely a stretch from where I live. But the way I was welcomed and treated will make me want to do business with this dealership for many more years to come. Thank you once again Christoper and Simon and like I promised I will bring those two individuals i promised to purchase a vehicle in the months ahead. read more

Simi Valley Ford - My new transit next to my pro master - Car Dealers Near Me - Simi Valley, California

I went tinto SV Ford to try ad keep my business in our town. I responded to an ad in the paper which stated $11,000 off MSRP, LOL...MY ADVICE..ask them which MSRP their talking about, because there are two. My sales person pointed at the bottom line MSRP and said "yeah $11,000 off this would be $43,425, and with your $8000 down that only leaves $35,425 to finance" In my opinion this was a untruth!!! We went into the office to check my credit etc., which came back at a 790 excellent credit and should qualify for the best interest rates out there. So my salesman told me lets take it for a test drive, which I didnt want to do, I just wanted to finish the paperwork and leave. I was told I MUST take a test drive, I now know why. When we got back to the dealership, the price had changed. I was told there was "extras" on the truck that I would have to pay more for, an alarm system and a bed liner. I protested and told them to take the alarm system off then. I was told " ok, but if we do that, youll never be able to put one back on!" In my opinion another lie and I should have walked at that point, but I really needed a truck. When we got back into the office to sign the papers, I was told that the only way I was going to get the advertised discount was to take the ford credit at a whopping 5.9% rate, again in my opinion not true. I really shoud have walked away at this point, but I figured I would refi with my credit union after getting the deal. Soon after taking delivery, I received a letter from Ford Credit stating my credit was denied or modified because of poor credit. ARE YOU F ING KIDDING ME WITH A SCORE OF 790. I called the credit company and was told that because I accepted such a high interest rate they had to send this form letter out to me, but I was assured that it would not affect my credit rating, HUH??? At this point I decided to write to the owner of SV Ford, Mr Larry Hibbler, and voice my concerns and dismay at the whole transaction. He originally wrote back asking to meet him at the dealership to discuss the "misunderstanding", when I wrote back to set a date, he never responded. I then wrote a letter to Ford Motor Company directly, and never received any sort of response. I love my truck, but I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER buy or use SV Ford again and will probably never buy a Ford again after this. As far as the service departement goes, the same goes for them. They had my other truck in the department for a week and had done nothing buy add up "necessary" repairs above and beyond what I had ask them to fix. I took the truck back from them, and took it to A & D auto down the street and got the same repairs and more done for 1/2 the price.. Future business with Simi Valley Ford..NOT A CHANCE read more

By far the worst dealership I have ever worked with. Up to four harassing phone calls from John Chapel "Internet manager" and multiple e-mails AFTER I told them to stop calling because they lied (Chris Cortez) saying they have been calling and emailing but they had not. I finally had to be very rude and John said "well our system is bad and I will take you out of the dialer". I told him if you have a bad system fix it or unplug the computer. I would avoid this dealership. read more

Avoid this place. Regrettably, I visited because they had a pre-owned car that is hard to find. I've bought two cars over the Internet and will buy the third soon. Not from Simi Valley Ford though because they don't allow it. Need a number for a cashier's check? Nope. They won't send it to you. They didn't even "allow" me to take the piece of paper home on which the (overpriced) deal were written. They had computers on their desks, but everything else is high pressure evasive sales tactics from a much darker time in the auto industry. I will say the people on the phone are very nice. read more

This was probably the grossest dealership I have ever been in. Now I get the fact that I have had a bmw for the last 4 years and didn't realize how exceptional their service dept is....but cmon! First of all to drop your car off you basically pull up to a kiosk then stand outside waiting for someone to help you. Apparently the only person that can check you in is the one that you actually spoke to on the phone and made the appointment with even though there's a bunch of other service guys around there they cannot do it. To pick your car up you again have to stand outside and wait for them to pull it up. Today it was 113° and I got the car with all the windows down and no AC on. The waiting room where you are going to wait for your service if you choose to or pay for your service is absolutely disgusting it looks like a garage station waiting room in some dump that smells like a grease pit. The furniture inside looks like they picked it up at a garage sale 40 years ago. Forget about them washing your car for you or even offering you a bottle of water I can't believe ford would even want their name on a place like this. read more

My husband and I recently bought our first car. This was our second stop and I'm so glad we stopped here. Very happy with the service we received from Simi Valley Ford. We drove out to Simi from Santa Clarita after being treated rudely at Auto Nation Valencia Ford. We wanted to purchase a truck and did some online research after our failed attempt at our local dealer. Really don't like being treated like I'm an idiot, and that's exactly what the salesman at Auto Nation Ford Valencia did. And on top of that he told us don't even look at the sticker price because that's not the price....tack on another $5,000 since there is a truck shortage. Uhm, excuse me?? Another $5,000? Yup, not going to pay that extra money for a truck I can technically wait to buy when there isn't a shortage. From the moment we walked onto the lot at Simi Valley Ford, Colton treated us so nicely. Friendly, pleasant and respectful! And we weren't going to be over charged for some truck shortage fee. I have to honestly say, this was the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience my husband and I have had. Would definitely recommend Colton and Simi Valley Ford. Thank you! read more
