As you can see from my reviews, I never write negative reviews, but I truly have never in my life had such a poor experience with a business and an owner. They sold me an EMPTY BOX with no cartridge in it. The owner, Zach, would not give me a new cartridge or a refund. What type of business doesn't check their inventory before selling a product????? I understand that things happen, but the owner was the least bit apologetic. The worst part about this was the fact that he hung up on me 3x and told me his only solution was to "legalize marijuana" in my state so the manufacture could send me a new one. They sold me shit in their recommendation and refused to take it back. Something they do so in Florida if you are not happy. When I called to see if I can get it replaced they said they couldn't do it because it was medicine. That's complete bullshit when they are recreational facility what they sell is not like any other product. If you're dissatisfied, they should refund you the money or take an exchange, they are a retail establishment and then they want to say they are doing medicine. Just fucking bullshit. Silver peak is a beautifully designed dispensary. A friend, from California, had never been in a cannabis shop before was blown away by the design. She is not a consumer either, but thought it was a beautifully designed space. That's the end of the kudos. The problem began with our arrival. The fellow at the 'gateway' where IDs are checked was a bit, uh, overbearing. He violated the first rule of sales; Make sure you know what your customers want and how knowledgeable they are. Our budtender most assuredly did not assess either. I'll not say more about him other than he was very proud to have have taken a budtender 'sommelier' course. The real problem to me is how the bud is handled for consumers. I decided to sample their wares and ordered a few grams of different 'strains' of cannabis. They're trying to be cool. They're trying to be elegant. Silverpeak is neither. I 'ordered' the flower and a few minutes later a few little jars are put on a silver tray. Where did the bud come from? Was it prepackaged? Did they weight it properly? The answer to all of this is; Who knows? It felt like I was getting cheated ... right in the store! OK. They only a grams, but the buds I received were the bottom of the barrel, so to speak. Lots of shake in them. Little teensy weensy bits of flower and that was it. For a first time customer, not a good thing. For a second time customer...well, there won't be a second time. read more

This place is insanely cool. During the covid-19 crisis these guys not only stayed open but they started hooking it up phat- $99 oz's of any combination of strains they have, so up to eight strains of your choosing- and it's all fire. Rec prices in aspen have never been that good to my knowledge, and this is medical grade stuff for basically fair med prices- only it's rec!!! And as a testament to how cool these guys are, this deal was initially only supposed to be for the month of April, but they extended it through May just to keep us all even happier during this crisis. Also, I was talking to some bud tenders about the deal, and they said they're discussing the possibility of permanently instituting $100-$120 oz options of select strains, so there will most likely be a good deal there from here on out! Of course, the ability to select the strains is a huge benefit as it ensures your oz will be fire, but pretty much all their weed is great so it's amazing that there will always be a decent $100 oz in Aspen, even for rec customers!!! read more

Wasn't planning to visit this place but when asked whether 520 Grill, which shares a staircase and address, was open, the staff member who initially asked "can I help you" was rude and condescending, particularly since both shops appear to be parts of the same. We went here because our friend recommended it to us. The weed was alright for the price. We got ID'd 3 times while there. They took my friends ID on and called the cops to verify that I was 21. I got verified but the hassle I had to deal with, totally not worth it. On Christmas Day too. These guys suck. Go to any other dispensary in Aspen. read more
