There are also some lovely snacks, baked goods, indoor and outdoor seating and clean restroom. There are sandwich offerings, snacks, drinks, and coffee of course. I thought they finally…read moreabandoned it when I walked into and didn't see a sign. 45 mins later they come kick me out for having a laptop open and point to a small faded sign printed on the counter where you'd never notice it. They removed the older more visible sign. I wouldn't have purchased anything if I knew since the whole point of the coffee and food was to have a place to work out of the house for an hour or so. I'm told that I can buy one cup of coffee and sit for 4 hours and read a book, I can sit for 4 hours and watch YouTube on my phone or iPad, or I can basically do all manner of reclusive things sitting by myself - but I am not allowed to sit and spend an hour or two writing on my laptop. Only the laptop is anti social, apparently. On days that I work from home, I like to get out of the house for a bit in the morning, enjoy a wonderful Kyoto cold brew and a coffee cake or Cinnamuff, and maybe get a second bite a bit later. And yes, get a bit of work done :) There are plenty of places in the area to go sit for hours and hours of work, so that is never my intent here, but to flat out ban laptops at all hours no matter how empty the store sure seems silly to me. I don't need to spend $15 to take my coffee back home. (I did once try emailing the owner to have a productive discussion on this but was ignored.)

I'm giving three stars bc my chai wasn't made well. It was too milky and had to be remade (still didn't love it after) and the prices are on the higher end. I spent $14 for the quiche and chai which was a bit disappointing.

She was distracted by talking to her manager about some missing papers lol (I think the manager should've let her finish making my drink since I was the only customer in there and I was definitely on the go ..and made my latte take a little longer than usual lol but it made up for it on taste. Their pastries are really tasty too!! perfect with a hot drink. Definitely will be my go to coffee shop now. If you haven't been, you're missing out! Super clean bathroom always a plus!
