For starters. I am deathly afraid and anxious any time I have a dental appointment. This was my first time at Silverman & Associates and I was referred by a ton of parents in a local Facebook group. They were prompt with taking me on time, the hygienist was WONDERFUL, quick, kind, and made me feel comfortable, and Dr. Silverman kept coming in my room with jokes, fun conversations and a gentle approach. To add, about 4 days after my appointment I was feeling a little pain behind a tooth (because of something I did- not from them), I called at 11am to explain what was going on, and without hesitation they asked me to come in right away. I was seen immediately, the doctor assessed the issue, gave me a treatment, and I was in/out in less than 10 minutes. I don't usually leave reviews, but our experience here was disappointing enough to speak up. Especially after spending over $15k in dental care. I dropped off my 16-year-old for their appointment as the parking lot was crowded and I had to take a call. When I returned, the hygienist was condescending and rude to me and my child. I understand teenagers may come alone occasionally, but that's no excuse for treating them with less respect or kindness. We expect professionalism and courtesy--especially in a healthcare setting. AWESOME IMPLANT EXPERIENCE! DR. SILVERMAN & DR. SIEGEL ARE THE BEST! Due to COVID, I had avoided going to the dentist and ended up with a badly infected tooth. Another dentist I consulted with said it needed to be extracted but she did not perform extractions. I was on several rounds of antibiotics and in great pain. This was my back right bottom tooth. By a personal referral, I went to Dr. Matt Siegel who also confirmed what the previous dentist said. Dr. Matt Siegel is so nice, has a great sense of humor and made what I thought would be a horrifying experience nothing like that at all. I was numbed up and he was able to expertly perform a difficult extraction in a short amount of time. I had to wait for extraction area to heal and then did an implant consultation with Dr. Barry Silverman, who has been performing these since the 1980's up until now, constantly keeping up to date with the latest and greatest technology utilizing expensive high quality equipment. The office is very clean and COVID compliant which was extremely important to me. High quality imaging equipment was utilized on me several times. They also have excellent dental hygienists for cleanings as I have seen three of them. Several high quality brands of implants are available but I wanted Straumann, which comes with a lifetime warranty and is titanium. Dr. Barry Silverman is caring, pleasant, kind and does a great job of explaining everything so I knew what was to be expected every step of the way. When you do something like this, go for high quality and a good experience as you do not want to have further problems later. After implant installation, I had follow up visits and then waited longer with the healing cap on it. An impression was taken for the crown, which is important to know that they do not have cheap crowns made like other dental offices do so beware of that elsewhere. My crown was done by Town & Country in Freeport. Color matching was done with my teeth and measurements were taken for best comfort fit for my mouth. So much awesome communication with quick check up follow up appointments throughout the entire process. The crown is high quality porcelain and zirconium. Paperwork was provided to me on both the Straumann implant with lifetime warranty and the crown I had done, which comes with a 7 year warranty. Lynn Ozner, the Bellmore location office manager was very compassionate and pleasant every time. Ease of booking appointments was great with text follow up reminders and phone calls about my well being. They worked with me to help pay for this entire implant process in stages as it was getting done, which was helpful so that not everything had to be paid for all at once. The various dental assistants have also been wonderful throughout all of my visits. My new implant with crown are feeling absolutely great and it is wonderful to have a functioning back right tooth again, my first experience with this ever. The worst dental experience. Dr. Silverman is so rude and disrespectful. He literally kicked me out of his office between I didn't want to take out all my wisdom teeth. I only had one wisdom tooth that had a cavity and I didn't want to take them all out at once. I left his office and ended up going to an oral surgeon who took out my one tooth and said all my other ones were in good condition. I still can't believe this man Dr. Silverman stood up and yelled at me to get out of his office. I have never been treated like this in my whole life. read more

Visit this practice at your own risk ! Beware phony staff with a quick turnaround they never keep any of the same workers and as a patient of a family practice I'd like familiar faces working on my teeth each visit. This has left too much room for error in not only my case but in the cases of my family members that have gotten work done as well. Just imaging being sold a plan to fix your teeth to only after thousands of dollars in looking in the mirror and hating your smile and having to visit the doctor once a week to have the same thing fixed bc it was never done right the 1st 2nd or 3rd time dr Silverman really should call it quits and retire before he ruins this office anymore than he already has ! read more

Upon leaving my last visit I was extremely disappointed and upset. I have been a patient here for several years and returned to repair dental work that was not completed correctly the first time. The dentist was extremely rude and patronizing. Not to mention, his price for the repair was astronomical, especially being that I have visited this office for years. My wife and I, and now our two young kids, have been patients of Dr Silverman for more than a decade now. If i could give 6 stars i would. Their practice - and everyone who works there - is outstanding in every way. Compassionate, friendly, patient, with quality care. More importantly, I recently completed a course of Invisalign and i couldn't be happier. It took over a year to fully fix and straighten my smile (I am British, and my teeth conformed to the stereotypes...), but it never felt arduous thanks to Dr Silverman's perfectionism and detailed explanations of the process. SIMPLY THE BEST !!!!!!!I have been a patient of Dr.Silverman for about 9 years along with my now 22 year old daughter who saw Dr. Silverman and now with Dr. Siegel. There is simply not enough time , space or energy to even begin to explain and have very few comprehend the astronomical am out of dental visits, hospital visits due to dangerous infections, every procedure imaginable every problem imaginable ,surgery 30 root canals, apicos, implants, on and on since I was a child and I know now after 44 years why and now why my daughter is in the same spot as me. I had 1 partial mouth reconstruction and 2 full mouth reconstructions and my daughter is on same path. I have a vacation home in my mouth. I was recommended to Dr.B from a nail client. I had a full mouth reconstruction but I needed another but this time I was very fortunate to not only do what was necessary but have a budget for a Hollywood smile. I was tormented much of my life. I meant with Dr. Silverman and I knew right away not only could he handle me . I'm a maniac at times ..really!! Not proud but am also I knew he was not going to try to talk me out of what I wanted. I didn't want to hear to white , not natural. My choice. I also knew he had the experience to deal with the patient that if its .01%. It was happening. So we spent the next 18 months together every week sometimes 2 app a week . He hit every mountain roadblock you name it that is my mouth but figured it out every time. Yelled at me when I was gonna freak and wiped my tears. He new how much THIS Full Mouth reconstruction meant to me. He was up on the most advanced custom everything. To the tattoos on my molars. I could go on and on. The staff was always amazing with me even when I needed a smack. My daughter I will never be able to thank this man for coordinating very imperative major start of serious dental work on a child petrified who would never get through multiple visits. Dr.Silverman collaborated with our endodontist well his referral people . They and a private anesthesiologist all worked together in perfect harmony for many many hours to completely stabilize her mouth and a ton of work but it was absolutely the only and actually safest way to get it done. Who does that. I know have a rare incurable disease that is destroying my dream beautiful teeth along with it stealing my life. Are finances have changed drastically . They Dr. Silverman & Dr. Siegel are doing everything possible to work with us. I can never thank them both enough for truly caring and taking care of our months as the fist issue I learned in the 3 years 10 moths to find out what was happening to me secondary we have EDS it destroys teeth and while that was found out in the mist of now full body systemic CRPS with general autonomic dysfunction. So when I have the strength its Dr.Silverman trying to save my entire mouth and all the issues with this horrible disease. I am forever grateful for giving me my dream smile and now trying to do whatever he can to stop it from taking what little is left of me. Thank you all at Silverman& Associates . I will add . I am so happy I found this facility. I initially called the Bayside location when I suddenly had tooth pain and they saw me as a new patient immediately! Since then, I go to the Bellmore location. The hygienists are all very good at their jobs and friendly. They tend to constantly remind you about Invisalign if it is recommended which I do try to understand. But I MUST give a shout out to Dr. Siegel. He is SO GREAT! I only lived in Bellmore for 1.5 years, and this place is where I got my dental work done. Never had any complaints. Didn't have to wait long. The people there were friendly. I had a crown done by them, which I haven't had issues with. I didn't feel pressured to get the crown. They weren't the ones to even bring it up; I was the one who did. I used to grind my teeth a lot, and my previous dentist said he would put a crown on it if it chipped again, after filling it ~3 times. read more

I came into Dr. Silverman's office to have my wisdom teeth removed. His staff was very knowledgeable and ensured I was very comfortable. I was never waiting more than 5 min to be seated or until the Dr came in. Dr. Silverman ensured I felt little to no discomfort through out the procedure. Even though my teeth were impacted, the Doc was able to removed them very efficiently and it was over in no time. I felt like my recovery was a lot quicker in comparison to friends and family that went to other dentist. I had very minimal swelling and soreness after. My wisdom teeth hadn't even been hurting when I went for my cleaning at University Dental. The doctor came to check my teeth once the hygienist was done. They explained that my teeth were growing inward, which would ultimately begin to shift my teeth. After having braces, this is the last thing I wanted to hear. A few weeks later I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I was so nervous that my face was going to be swollen and bruised the next week at school. Dr. Silverman told me the right things to eat and what I could and could not do in the immediate time following the surgey. I've been in need of an implant for two years and kept putting it off because of horror stories I've heard. A few months ago I finally started the process because I just couldn't take missing a tooth anymore. I can't believe how easy and painless the procedure was! Dr. Silverman was amazing! After the initial implant, I had very little pain and there were NO complications. Everything healed beautifully. It's now only a few months later and I have a beautiful new tooth in my mouth. I still can't believe how easy it was. Everyone in the office was so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. As expected, it was expensive, but VERY WELL WORTH IT!
