I went to Dr. Sukoff for a free consult as I thought I needed braces. I found a welcoming and efficient office. The consult included 3 D x-rays and pictures which were done by his staff. Then I was seen by Dr. Sukoff. He could not have been any nicer and more informative. He spoke of options and listened to what I wanted to accomplish with my smile. He then told me (and actually brought up pictures) about a cosmetic procedure that would accomplish what I wanted. I had never known or thought of this procedure as an option. It was so refreshing to talk to a Doctor who only wanted to help me, even if it meant sending me elsewhere. I so appreciate the knowledge he gave me to fix my smile. Thank you, Dr. Sukoff! read more

Dr. Sukoff and his staff are top notch!! My son has been coming to him for a few years. (Needing 2 phases of braces) and they have nothing but kind and knowledgeable throughout the whole experience. Dr. Sukoff is always involved in the plan of his care and cares very much about all his patients! The girls in the office are the nicest you can ever meet!! I have only wonderful things to say about my whole existence!! My son has a great smile to show for it and we are thrilled!! read more

DON'T TRUST DR.Sukoff!! (This are just my opinions... take this how you want. He emailed me saying that I was defaming & that he was consulting his legal counsel against a 23 y.o. Client) lol The whole image behind this business is a pure façade. The assistants are the ones who mainly work on you & they don't even know how to treat you properly or talk to you like a human. & he has only examined my teeth one time this whole time. This place should be called Sukoff's assistants. Or Sukoff's pays others to do his job. I would've never came here if it was clear that he wasn't gonna be doing the work on me. But one thing is sure, he did get on the sales call Also, they do a bad job on top of that. Just getting their job done and moving on. Clearly there are nice people here but I just I've had more bad experiences than good ones. Look up reviews on yelp as well. I think the majority of the reviews here on google are clearly fake & have some sort of incentive behind writing them so positively. I think that because the majority of the people that left a review only have one review on their account, meanwhile it's been many years since they reviewed. Something funny clearly happening . Would never spend my money here if I would've known it was gonna take soo long just to set an appointment every time. Waiting almost a month to get my new Invisalign scans appointment Then gonna have to wait another month to get the new set. Everything takes for ever, the service is subpar & its definitely not worth the price they charge. Lowkey feel I got scammed. Lol Overpriced asf! But, he's gotta pay for his Porsche Teycan ($200k)somehow right??? This is not even scratching the surface on the terrible service that I've experienced at this place. Two different ortho's(not Sukoff) insisted that I I remove my attatchments, on two separate occasions & start my retainer even though I was telling them I was not happy. My bite is still currently off & my main problem teeth are not even fully aligned. It's been a year an half since I started here & I regret going here. My teeth were not even that crooked, & one time I had a bad set of Aligners that actually made my teeth regress because the assistant did a bad scan. I remember that she rushed it & didn't really care. I have pictures w/ dates as proof. I don't know what to do other than feel frustrated but I am ecstatic that I am almost done & will never have to go into this horrible business ever again. I'm almost free. It's funny I've personally witnessed kids & moms complain about the service or how long everything takes. When I first started coming here, I had sever anxiety because I was afraid of the whole process & to top it off, there was no interaction with me on human level & that just causes me even more angst. Maybe me just being sensitive but still part of my experience. I've had way more bad experiences with my teeth here but I'm just being petty at this point but I wish I could get a partial refund & go somewhere else that actually cares about my oral health. It's been like atleast 5 negative events that have happened to me here, in terms of their treatment. This is an example of the worst thing that happened: They placed the attachment & they let the acrylic glue seep between my teeth & on to a couple of teeths chewing surface. Then when I told them, some old assistant lady started buffering my teeth & removed a lot of it from where it was not supposed to be, but at the same time started buffering places where I had none & actually caused me pain to the point where I told her to stop what she was doing. Then Sukoff came & did a "better job". I told him one of my concerns right after & he just dismissed it. Like .... If your gonna deal with people, atleast educate yourself on how to please your customers. I don't think he cares cuz it's clear he can just boost his reviews artificially. No wonder business is boomin, so much so, that I have to wait months just for a simple 10 min appointment. I do not recommend this place at all... read more

They are fine when you are having your teeth fixed but prices are through the roof for any service that is needed after you are done. They wanted to charge me $575 dollars to replace a permanent wire (obviously not permanent) which is a thin piece of wire glued on to the back of your teeth and then told me if it broke off in a few days, they would replace it but if it broke off in 6 months, I would have to again pay for a new wire. I previously paid $250 to have my upper wire replaced AND a new wire added to my lower teeth, now to replace my upper only, they wanted $575. I was told "Inflation". I bet the $575 would have paid for the whole roll of wire. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Both my wife and I had our braces done at this office. Completion time was 2 and half years for me. 3 years for my wife. PROS: Friendly staff. Clean office. Updated equipment. Comfortable surroundings. Easy scheduling. About 0 to 5 minute wait time before seen for an appointment. Interest free payment plans. CONS: we were estimated to have our braces on for around 1 year to 1 year and half but it took about 3 years. The braces were improperly placed on us by assistants so the braces continuously popped off. When finished, my wife's bottom teeth were not aligned properly and Dr Sukoff claimed he was unable to fix it. Your rarely seen by the orthodontist instead your helped by assistants which may be the reason why you have the braces on for about 3 years. My wife had to pay a mysterious fee at the end which was confusing since we had an automatic payment plan linked to our bank accounts. Developed TMJ due to poor adjustments of the braces. Higher priced compared to other offices friends have gone to. In conclusion, I would not recommend this office to family and friends. I am happy with the way my teeth came out (except for the TMJ) but upset for how bad my wife's teeth ended up. Their are plenty of offices you can choose from. Dr. Sukoff is amazing! I was an "invisiline"patient 2.5 years ago and I was and am so pleased with the results. I had a permanent metal retainer fixed to the rear of my bottom front teeth at that time. I noticed that the retainer was no longer attached to my teeth. I called the office to make an appointment to have it replaced. I was given an appointment for the following day and was warmly welcomed by every member of the staff. So many of the staff who I remember from my office visits especially Dr. Sukoff's nurse Patty, made me feel like a dear old friend who they were happy to see. David Sukoff is a terrific orthodontist and a person who truly cares about his patients long after the "bills are paid"! read more

Dr Sukoff and his office have been very great to my wife and I . She got braces while I got Invisalign . 18 months later , her teeth are perfect , and mine are almost perfect . I must admit I have been irresponsible with keeping the trays in my mouth 24/7 , often times losing them or forgetting to put them back in . Dr Sukoff offered to apply braces to finish off my treatment at no extra cost . So far , so good . I am very happy . This staff Leann has also been great . She's the most friendly staff and always remembers our name . We appreciate things like that . The ambience in the office is also pretty cool with and modern feel . Overall very pleased . read more

My daughter has been going here for quite awhile. We were told she needed a major surgery on her mouth, which I understand. We got it, even though we have no coverage. Then Dr. Sukoff said, well, she needs another, probably could've been done at the first surgery. We just paid them off. I never, ever receive updates as to when she is getting them off. She is now 2 months away from 17. They are great w rescheduling, but one of the assistants is horribly rude, rolls her eyes, and also, Dr. Sukoff himself has worked on my daughter TWICE. But he did have time to work on his on daughter once (for fun, she's like 5) while my daughter waited in the chair. My 11 year old has started at an orthodontist in Valley Stream. read more

I'm beyond impressed with this place! Everyone was so kind, quick, and efficient from the moment I walked in. This was my first time here and I needed my retainer fixed. My childhood orthodontist is in upstate ny and too far to travel to, so I made an appointment here and I glad I did. The ladies at the front desk were so welcoming, and then I met with Leann who's the Treatment Coordinator and she also was very sweet. I quickly told her the issue I was having with my permanent retainer and Dr. David Sukoff came in and assessed the issue and had it fixed right then! I was in and out in under 30mins. Inside was very clean and well kept. I would strongly recommend this orthodontics to anyone looking forward to a great smile and I will definitely be returning for all future work. read more

This office is okay as long as nothing goes wrong. Everytime any of my kids had an issue with broken/snapped/whatever wrong, we were always penalized by waiting extra long. Last example: spring broke off molar. Was not told to bring it in. Get to office and sent back home to get spring. Once back at office, we had to wait 40 minutes behind 5 other kids who had appointments after us. Really? Who took my original spot? Once in, Procedure took 2 mins!! No apologies. Don't ever get mad. If I could give zero stars, I would! Everything started off great but quickly descended downhill. It's like a factory in this office. Your child sees Dr. Sukoff for maybe 2 minutes tops after any routine or non routine treatment is done. Kids braces break. We were told this was included in the price but we were actually charged each time. Oh and if you are on a payment plan, like most are, let's just say discretion isn't their strong suit. Entire waiting room will soon know your business. I was told my child would be in braces for no more than 3 years, if that. 5 years later I had concerns and repetitively called the office where I was told by his pitbull secretary, phyliss, that the doctor doesn't speak to clients. How absurd! We pay thousands of dollars but we aren't entitled or given the courtesy of having a conversation with the actual Doctor. Phyllis is the gatekeeper in that office (mind you with no dental degree) so me translating any kind of message to her is a moot point. I might as well have the pizza guy give the dentist a message on my behalf. If you're searching for an orthodontist, run for the hills and find someone else. This is strictly a money making machine and your children are NOT the priority here. If anyone tells you different, just means they haven't been fortunate enough to experience a normal orthodontists office. Hold onto your wallets and run in the other direction. read more

I really hate to give Dr Sukoff any stars. I have never met a more unresponsive doctor. My dentist had tried to call him about my child and Dr Sukoff didn't return any of the phone calls. We were sent out to an oral surgeon who also tried to call Dr Sukoff and again he never called back to discuss the course of treatment for his own patient. When we asked Dr Sukoff he had a fit like he was a child. He was more interested in watching the Islander game on the television than discussing his patient. Dr Sukoff spends all of 2 seconds with his patients, his assistants do all of the work. There are rows of chairs and all Dr Sukoff does is bounce from one patient to the next never spending any time with his patient. He does a quick look in the mouth then moves on to the next patient. The braces always broke and he would charge you for broken wires. Wires were always popping out of the braces and we would have to go back in continuously to have issues fixed. If he would have done the work himself, or stayed with the patient for more time, maybe the braces wouldn't brake so much. I left his practice mid treatment because he was just terrible. Since leaving his office, I never had a brace break or a wire pop out of the bracket. Don't let the looks of the office fool you, it is a factory and all he cares about is making money and not his patients. I would advise RUN far away from his office and find someone who does the work themselves. There are great orthodontists out there and Dr Sukoff is NOT one of them. read more
