We had two different people come and measure and we still ended up with a different white counter top then I picked out and our over hang was about 2 inches shorter than promised. The installer ( recommended by the company) left our countertops looking half installed and he gave us attitude when we tried to get him back to finish what he started. We let all that go because we were in the middle of a larger reno and just wanted to be done. HOWEVER, the quartz countertop is now cracking!!! The quality is obviously not there and the installer truly screwed us. I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS.

We immediately found a house in Gardnerville that met all of our needs though it was very outdated. We were both very nervous to do a remodel because of all of the horror stories we've heard, but decided it was necessary, so we took the plunge. We felt it was important to patronize businesses in our new community, so our first stop was D&B Cabinets, a Minden business off of hwy 395. Kathy was our first contact there. She was very knowledgeable and professional. They have a beautiful showroom that displays the different kitchen cabinet and hardware options. I was drawn to the of white cabinets with dark trim. When we able to move forward with the kitchen portion of our remodel, we sat down with Don, the owner, to design and choose our options. He is just wonderful. Down to earth and very easy to work with. He wants you to be happy and is meticulous every step of the way. For instance, one drawer had a little abrasion... Not a big deal but he made sure it was replaced and perfect. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen-the cabinets are just gorgeous. D&B Cabinets were a perfect fit for us.

If I could give Michael more than five stars, I absolutely would…read more We hired Michael based on a referral for what turned out to be a massive custom home project. The scope of work included eight bathrooms with shower walls, shower ceilings, floors, wainscoting, and countertops, along with installing the engineered quartz in our kitchen, laundry room, and butler's pantry. He also installed the granite in the game room/bar area. It was an enormous job, yet Michael and his team completed it in just **2 weeks and 2 days**. Even more impressive, they never sacrificed quality for speed. Throughout our build we've had the opportunity to work with some outstanding subcontractors, including an exceptional electrician. But without question, Michael has stood out above everyone else. He's punctual, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and takes tremendous pride in his work. What impressed me most, though, is his character. If something isn't exactly right, he doesn't make excuses or become defensive--he simply makes it right. That level of integrity is incredibly rare these days. I've also had multiple tradespeople working on our home--people who know quality craftsmanship when they see it--comment on what an outstanding tile and surface installer we have. Hearing that from other professionals only confirmed what we had already experienced firsthand. Beyond his workmanship, Michael is simply one of those people you genuinely enjoy being around. It honestly feels like I've known him for ten years. Our personalities clicked from the very beginning, and we've developed a friendship throughout this project. I can be completely honest with him, ask questions, or bring up concerns, and we've always been able to have open, respectful conversations. That's something I value tremendously. He is just an all around cool guy. Without a doubt, I believe we'll remain friends long after our home is finished. If you're looking for someone who delivers exceptional craftsmanship, stands behind his work, and is an absolute pleasure to work with, I cannot recommend Michael highly enough. Hiring him was one of the best decisions we made during our entire home build.
