The price tag was $1.59, over $1 more than at Home Depot or anywhere else, really. When I went to check out, it rang up as $9.99! I said, "That's an insane price; the tag said it's $1.59." This Flock of Seagulls ex-band member told me, "That's the price!" A simple price check would have resolved this without issue, but that was not in the cards, apparently. And anyone who knows building supplies would have known how insane that price was. Hire people who know hardware and building supplies. I had to track down a manager myself to get this resolved, which was embarrassing show of their customer service. For 10 months I've been paying their "mountain prices" for the convenience of them being local--no more. I'd rather take a 1.5-hour round trip than deal with rude service and inflated prices. TLDR; Go elsewhere.

Last week my wife and I found out that our bed was broken.... I wish there was a good story, but…read morethere's not. Simply put, the cross supports were in the wrong spots and the plastic frame for our Sleepnumber bed had lost its integrity. What are we going to do. First, Sleepnumber was amazing, as they replaced the defective pieces at no charge and they shipped them to us for....wait for it....no charge. So, we had the replacement parts, now I sought out to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Heck, when you weigh what I do, you do need support. So, I decide more of the wood cross supports are needed. Meeks is the local purveyor of all things wood and the customer service there was incredible. You see, I'm a novice and I need help. I took the measurements, told the salesman what I needed, and they simply did the rest, and, mind you, this all took place on a Saturday morning, a morning I would suspect is a busy morning, filled with novices like me. Did I mention the custom cuts? As I mentioned, I showed up with the dimensions and they made sure that I left with the exact sizes that I needed. The yard guys took care of that. So, I leave happy, my wife and I piece together the new frame, and once again we slept in air supported bliss last night. Meeks had great customer service, and, in this era, it just seems so few really understand and make the effort to take care of the customer. Nice job Meeks.

Would have tried to get this delivered, but our last experience with HD involved the delivery company calling us saying they only deliver every other Thurs. And we are never in Tahoe on Thursdays. Then they tried to reschedule the same week after we arranged to be up there on a Thurs. In the end, we did finally get what we ordered, but it was super delayed and a hassle. We had looked at vanities at another HD location and decided to purchase the one above. It was just a matter of finding it and loading it onto the cart. It is all one piece, so if you have someone weak like me helping you take it down some stairs, you cannot remove the top. We found the easiest way was to turn it on it's side so I could grasp and hold onto the legs. Tho it did give me a splinter thru my gloves. A fine location.
