I'm pretty sure their custard is churned by actual angels who sprinkle it with the pulverized dreams of happy children. And then there's the Dole Whip. Oh, the Dole Whip. It's like a fruity vacation for your tastebuds, that doesn't require questionable airport security lines. I'm convinced they have a direct line to the Dole Whip gods at Hoffman's. It is a creamy pineapple hug that whispers sweet nothings about sunshine and tiny umbrellas. After one bite, I briefly considered selling all my possessions and moving to a pineapple plantation. It's not just a dessert; it's a lifestyle choice. The atmosphere is pure, unadulterated hometown charm. There are tables to sit and relax while the sugar coma takes over. The employees are all so nice and helpful. We have never come here when there was not a line to order (whether it be 2 or 200 degrees outside), but the wait is never long. 11/10 recommend.

Wow, this place is way more than what I expected. We passed…read morethis as we explored the area yesterday, and today with it being over 100 outside. We wanted a sweet treat. So, the wife, the dog, and myself all went to check it out. As we walked in, we saw candy, flavored peanut butters, chocolates, popcorn, fudge, and... ICE CREAM. This is way more than an ice cream store. It is also connected to a sandwich shop. She ordered a brookie, i had a regular key lime & lemon cheesecake, and of course we had a pup cup that had a milk bone stuck into it. Her brookie was tasty, she said she wished it had oreo cookies instead of chocolate chip - but she enjoyed it. My lemon/lime concoction was also tasty. I wish there was 200% more lime & 200% more lemon flavor, because i am a fiend for citrus. But it was still good. Lastly, the pup cup, she didnt say much... but she licked it across the floor - so im assuming she loved it. We will be back for sure to try some other snacks!

Back then, it always felt like a special treat, so I was thrilled when they opened locations in the St. Louis area. We don't stop by all the time, but whenever we do, the Turtle Sundae is always our go-to. It's hands down our favorite and never disappoints. The St. Charles location, across from Lindenwood University, has become such a great gathering place for the community. After a long day at cheer camp, my daughter and her friends wanted somewhere to relax, celebrate, and spend time together, and Andy's was the perfect choice. It was fun seeing so many other cheerleaders doing the exact same thing--sharing laughs, making memories, and enjoying a well-earned frozen treat. I really appreciate having a place like this in the community where kids and families can meet up, unwind, and enjoy quality time together. Great custard, a welcoming atmosphere, and lots of happy memories keep us coming back.

To be perfectly honest, I think I've only been in there once. My husband usually orders ahead and goes to pick it up. We probably get it a few times a year. But their shakes are SO good! One year, for one of the dinners we had to celebrate my birthday, my husband placed an order for everyone that was at the house and had Door Dash deliver them for dessert. We have some excellent bakers in the family, but he went in a different direction that year! If you're into really good shakes, I suggest you pay them a visit!

Unfortunately, they didn't have my partner's usual frozen coffee drink on their new menus and considering the line, he didn't want to ask about it so hoping that wasn't discontinued?

They offer many soda and water combos. ai recommend looking at menu before you go i ordered 3 cookies, all gluten free: a lemon tart,ca lemon raspberry, and the namesake twisted sugar. The Twisted Sugar is a sugar cookie with a coconut lime frosting. The coconut is likely extract and has a bitter aftertaste. Not my favorite despite loving coconut. The lemon tart was lemony and quite good. My favorite was the lemon with raspberry swirl. Really nice combo of tart and sweet. The cookies themselves aren't overly sweet; the frosting adds the sweet. It is a cute shop with friendly staff and they were knowledgeable about what they offered. I got a maple Bacon donut which was amazing! Truly the best Maple Bacon donut I have ever had. Also a raspberry pistachio which was also delicious. The donuts were the same except the toppings but they aren't heavy cake donuts. They were light and airy and broke apart easily kind of like a cinnamon roll. I had the top part with the toppings and dipped the bottom in their maple dip. The dip was delicious but the donuts were coated in a sugar... not a glaze but granulated sugar so if dip is not your thing you would still have a nice sweet donut throughout. I also got the Mango passion refresher which was so good. What amazed me though was my mother who isn't a fan of sweet things even liked the cinnamon donut she got. That says a lot to me because she is picky lol. Also the staff was friendly enough to give a mini donut to sample and that was extremely kind and I Chan say the minis are just as delicious as the full sized donuts. They do not skimp on quality here which is nice because they are a bit in the pricier side, but for the size of the donuts and the quality especially I didn't feel overcharged. Can't wait to try other flavors and even their savory donuts !
