As we shopped a couple of the local gift shops in town, we kept seeing their label on products. We thought, why not go directly to the source and were glad we did. Pappy's makes some of the most amazing and delicious jellies and relishes. I love jalapeño jelly and they had several kinds. They also bottle and make Tony's Bloody Mary Mix which is a product out of Fenton, MO. What was so impressive here, was the customer service. The gentleman/owner who was working truly showed his passion for their product. It was just as if we were in a Traders Joe. He had no problem opening product for us to try. Of course, it worked. Everything we tried we bought. The Zucchini Relish was a winner for all of us. I bought the "Hot", but it does come in a regular temp as well. The shop hours are limited. They are only open Monday - Thursday 10 AM - 5 PM. However, according to their website, if you need anything outside these hours, just let them know and they would be happy to accommodate you. Again, amazing customer service. However, as I stated, the product is all over the little town of Washington.

I was lured by a Facebook post about free plants, & I'm going to try them on our sunporch As Autumn has finally arrived. I wish I had an appetite for their bakery & ice-cream shop, But Now that my mind knows, I'll be back!! There's an amazing assortment of pumpkins, gourds, mums & fall flowers. Abundant barely describes how many options you have to choose from. What a beautiful gem For This small Missouri town. My mapping program from their link on Facebook Took me just past their main entrance So I turned around. When I dropped a pin, my map program suggested: 737 E State St Union, MO 63084 As the address Instead of 747.

The Best Cake Artist We Could Have Asked For…read more If I could give Laura and Creations By Laura more than five stars, I absolutely would. Laura created two cakes for our family--one for our parents' 50th wedding anniversary and another for our nephew's birthday--and both were nothing short of extraordinary. Planning a 50th anniversary celebration is stressful because you want everything to be perfect for people who mean so much to you. The cake is often the centerpiece of the celebration, and Laura absolutely exceeded every expectation we had. The anniversary cake was elegant, beautifully designed, and tasted every bit as incredible as it looked. It truly was the crowning jewel of an unforgettable day. What impressed me even more was Laura's professionalism. She had another large event in a different town that same day, yet she never made us feel like we were competing for her time or attention. Everything was organized, on schedule, and executed flawlessly. One moment that really stood out was hearing the staff at Balducci Vineyards compliment how seamless and professional Laura was to work with during delivery and setup. When one outstanding vendor takes the time to praise another, you know you're working with someone exceptional. Laura isn't just incredibly talented--she is kind, thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely cares about making your event special. She pays attention to every detail and takes tremendous pride in her work, and it shows. Our family will cherish the memories from our parents' 50th anniversary forever, and Laura's beautiful cake will always be part of those memories. She also created a fantastic cake for our nephew that brought so much joy to his celebration. If you're looking for someone who creates stunning cakes, delivers exceptional customer service, and truly cares about her clients, look no further than Creations By Laura. I recommend her without hesitation and will gladly trust her with every special occasion our family celebrates in the future. Thank you, Laura, for sharing your incredible talent and helping make two of our family's celebrations so memorable. You are truly one of the best.

The reason I'm giving a four instead of five is because from the couple of times I've been here they didn't have two different items that I had been looking for and had to go to fresh thyme a few miles away to get and the other item I was looking for was the spicy glazed chicken wings that weren't there the day I was craving them but my next visit they had them when I was craving tacos. Lines seem to always be long when I get there around 4:15pm, even the self check out lines so beware.

I opted for a cinnamon roll and a lemon graham cookie with a pretty little flower stamped on it. The cinnamon roll because it makes your eyes roll back in your head! So soft and squishy with lovely cinnamon filling. Right now, they only do cinnamon rolls for the weekend, sat/sun. Definitely worth the trip!
