It was getting extremely ridiculous!! I guess our state has had restrictions, idk, I think it has to do with each property owner! What if we have a vintage restored? still nobody will take it because of age. So frustrating!!! I'm sure most of you RV'ers and travel trailer/5th wheel owners know this very well and how much it can disturb you. We are not going to pay 50K+ for a new trailer when we have a perfectly good one! They really last a very long time!! So I called the owner and he was friendly, he has had this secret place for over 50 years.(not a secret now) He had 1 spot opened. My boyfriend relocated down in the area for work few months ago,so happy we found a place to take our '83 travel trailer. Didn't want to rent an apartment. The only things are one- its a very very small place- 9 units in total plus a duplex, 2-must have a smaller trailer-under 25 ft. (for several reasons- driveway and the lots itself are small) and 3- only 1 person aloud. Property is older. Not an issue for us. We fit the bill.( I visit 1 or 2 x a month) From what we have been told, he has really cleaned up the place too. Most everyone here has been here a long time, you can tell with most of the trailers. Friendly too. Thank you for this find. It really made things easier for us and finding a place for my guy. Area is great too. Everything is walking distance!!! Huge mall 1 block away and Sprouts across the street. perfect! A little loud,b/c of main street but nothing white noise can't fix. ;-)

I am a solo traveler with my 2 pets and never did I worry about my safely. The people and more specifically the owner, Steve made me and my fur babies feel at home and welcomed. The washer/dryers are convenient and inexpensive (compared to every other laundromat I've used). The airport is behind the RV park and I was staying in the back row. Some days the airport was busier than others but it was never so noisy that it was distracting. There are a few great restaurants walking distance from the park. The park is very conveniently located to a lot of things and very easy interstate access. I have been away from Hollywood RV park for about a month now and I actually miss living there, but driving on the 405 every day for work became too much. If you are looking for a home to park your RV...Hollywood RV park is the place to go!

I read about The Holiday's on Trip Advisr and was pleased to find mid-week openings the next week. I paid for one night in advance, but after the fun my granddaughter had that first day, I paid for another night and am glad to have done so. The turquoise and white trailer, "The Drifter" is adorable, as are all four units. Andy, the owner/ manager is friendly, easy to reach by phone, and stops by each day to provide for the needs of his current renters, and to prep for the next to arrive. With an included fridge, freezer, 3 burner stove, plates, cups, mugs, utensils, bbq utensils, sink with running water, heat, ample sleeping for 4, bath towels, beach towels, USB ports, board games, cards, and a bluetooth sound system, the trailer offers plenty of convenience for its diminuative size. For a small extra charge a generator provides AC, microwave and electricity. Each trailer gas picnic table, charcoal bbq, and a firepit... though we joined other campers at the communal firepit and enjoyed making new friends. The Holiday's Community has a shared storage shed filled with complimentary games (Jenga, Cornhole, Horseshoes, oversized Checkers, Bocce Ball, etc.) beach supplies (umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles). The beach is gorgeous... there are two paths to access the beach, one is quite steep and the hike back up is tough. The other path nearest to the Visitor Center is less steep. All in all, big props to The Holiday's! I will definitely be returning.

I personally believe Karen could have a better approach by not having a Nasty ATTITUDE at bringing up check out time to customers that being in revenue to city of HB. We're not children and we do understand rules and guideline. I've been called on a paid reservation- with people over staying and causing us to have a later check in. We don't make a big deal about it. We understand. Mind you park has several vacancy opening, Karen called me back to ask me if I wanted to re- book with her. I believe this is also not part of HB guidelines to book with a personal of HB. ( from what I was told in past )

My review is regarding site number C 32 and the Campground…read more I made reservations months in advance after planning with some friends. Reservations were easy with no problems. I selected my site based on where my other friends had made reservations. I have never camped at this campground, but heard nothing but good things. As I was driving through the Campground, I noticed that some of the RVs parked look like they are permanent residence. I didn't drive the entire campground, but the area I drove through to get to my site was a very clean a lot of trees and very green grass. I arrived at my site C 32 (back in parking) from what I could see from my car, a picnic table under a large tree was available at my site. The Bluff side does not provide fire pits. On the Bluff there is dry brush so I could understand why no fire pits on the Bluff. Luckily, my friends had the inner sites across from the Bluff, which provided fire pits. I started my hook ups and noticed a smell, it didn't smell like manure, but like dogs business. I noticed a metal trash can on the corner of my site so I opened it to see if it was coming from there, but it wasn't. It seemed like it was coming from the bluff at my site. It was very windy so I constantly could smell this. The good thing is I hung out at my friends sites and couldn't smell the same thing there. I noticed there was a lot of coyotes sounds at night and actually someone walking on the street so I don't know if it's the coyotes business in the bushes. Anyhow, that was just the only issue. My trailer is a Teardrop. So I took showers that was located close by. No coins or tokens needed. There are two shower stalls with a bench located just outside the showers. The shower stall that I used which was the first one as you walk in provided one hook that had two prongs. There are four toilet stalls, one being handicap accessible. The bathrooms were free of spiderwebs and very clean. It is well lit around the bathroom at night. From my site C 32 I had view of the lake but C 35 on up what is centered of the view of the lake. I found this to be the perfect spots. We camped here, September20th till the 24th. We still had summer weather with a couple of hot days, but in this area, it was constant breeze, which helped if you were not directly in the sun. I have to mention that at check-in the staff were friendly and helpful. I also have to agree with one of the other Yelper's that reviewed the prices are high but all of the other campgrounds I have visited are the same so I will not dock stars because of that reason. Everything nowadays is expensive. I noticed that they have Bonelli staff patrol during the day and night. On the day of my checkout, as I was leaving, I heard a voice and turned to see a gal at the kiosk saying thanks for staying with us and hope you visit again. I thought that was a nice way to send off a customer. That would be one of the reasons that would bring me back. I would definitely come back but probably pick a different site like C 36 or 35. With my job taking me up and down along the California coast, I have stayed at quite a few other parks along this coast before settling into this park and spending a five-year run living here. Trust me in my opinion none of the other parks have compared to Parque Santiago as nice as it is. It is first class and owns it's title. Even while I lived in the park but my job often taking me up to the Central Coast to work at times, I kept my lot because, I didn't want to lose my spot knowing I will never find anything as nice in this area again if I moved out and later try to get back in upon returning for local work once again. As a tenant from 2017-2022, all I have to say, speaking for my wife and I in our own experience, we were so glad and happy we found this nice, sweet little gem. We have found the park during our stay to be always so clean, quiet, peaceful, and such a safe place to live, which speaks a LOT for many of the urban areas in this County. The management has done a fine job providing excellent services and value while keeping the park beautifully maintained and not afraid to reinvest back into the property with upgrades and constant Maintance by making our stay here very comforting. It has been a real pleasure staying here and now moving on to my final chapter in life.... retirement moving back to my house in Arizona! I highly recommend it to be THE best place you can stay in the whole SoCal area.
