I read reviews and finally chose Avenue Dental. My husband and I, as well as a dear family friend, made appointments. After three to four months, I was originally told approximately a month, I finally had my teeth. The dentist was on vacation so I was given the dentures and sent on my way. My husband was out of it for his appointment as he had teeth pulled but the temporary dentist kept apologizing. I wasn't sure what was going on but he said they would make it right, something about the dentures being wrong, and they scheduled an appointment the following week. So my husband had no teeth for that week and then another week after that appointment. His still do not fit and he refuses to wear them. It's been about 4 months and my teeth fall out when I speak so I called in and asked about a fitting since I had not had one originally. I went in and was told that they needed realigning because of bone loss. It's been 4 months, my last teeth lasted 15 years and I never needed any adjustments. The office then sent in a person with a quote of a $1000. I explained I couldn't do that so if I had to pay so much I would only be doing the top, she said sign it anyway. I was originally told that adjustments were $150, and I had asked if I needed to pay that for this visit since no fitting was ever done to the teeth. I was told there should have been one and it was implied I wasn't being truthful. Keep in mind I had just paid somewhere around $5000 for the teeth. The assistant left to make an appointment for next week, she came back in and I was told to hand over my teeth, that I should have them back in a few days. I had already explained I needed to schedule for next week so I could try to find my old teeth so I could eat and speak for those days. I explained again I could not do that today, she explained it was the only way it worked with the dentist schedule. I was finally told to call when I was ready to get it done and they would schedule me then, and then I was walked to the door. So now I'm out almost 13,000 cash for myself and my husband and I'm going to have to go to another dentist that does what they say. Please beware! Most of us cannot afford to go and get new teeth let alone be robbed when we do. I'm so upset, I no longer have teeth I feel confident in and I do not have another $13000 to make it right, it was a a once in a lifetime opportunity, nor do I want to go for 2-3 days without teeth while I wait to get them corrected. The dentist only works Thursday & Friday, which explains why my 1 month time frame turned into 4 months. I had read the reviews and I thought I'd found a place I could trust but now I'm out the money, I have teeth that fall out when I speak, and I was treated like I was not worth their time.

(Across from Everett Costco on 19th) From the very first consultation, she listened carefully to what I wanted: a perfect fit and a million-dollar smile. Huda delivered exactly that--and more. The dentures she crafted for me are by far the best I've ever had. The fit is flawless, the comfort is unmatched, and the confidence I feel when I smile is priceless. Her skill, artistry, and attention to detail are truly exceptional. If you're looking for a denturist who combines technical expertise with genuine care, Huda is the one. She doesn't just make dentures--she restores confidence and transforms smiles. I couldn't be happier with the results, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking the very best. Cathy C.

I walked into this practice owned by a female denturist. She was kind, intelligent, and explained what would be needed in the way of a partial. The partial was measured and produced very quickly, within two weeks. I highly suggest you give this practice a try, as the first consultation is at no charge.

I made an appt for a crown replacement before the end of the year. My appt was for Jan. 19. They told me they would call me before to confirm benefits (they had always done this for an estimate). On January 19, at 8am, they text me to send a picture of my insurance card. I did immediately. I went to my appt two hours later and nothing was said to me about my benefits. I should have asked, but they has always been great and I figured I'd owe a couple hundred dollars. I checked out of my appt and was told I owe $1800. I asked the receptionist if my insurance didn't cover it or why it was so high. She said they did, but this is what I owed. It didnt sit right so when I got home I asked for an itemized bill to be sent to me, which then showed ZERO dollars was paid by insurance. I then called the office and said I called my insurance and they do cover this procedure so why was I being charged this full amount? The manager Jacky THEN tells me "well your insurance is out of network so you have to pay the full amount and if they pay anything, we will refund". Only then was I also told they had not confirmed my benefits before my appointment. That was not told to me at arrival or at checkout, even after I directly asked why it was so high. I pushed back, as I have been their client for six years and was flabbergasted they would charge me more than the full amount they'd usually receive. She told me they'd get $900-1100 if I had still been with my previous insurance carrier. I said I realize I should have asked, but you have always given me an estimate or told me, and I was lied to at checkout that it was run and only AFTER i said I called my insurance did they THEN tell me it was out of network. I asked to come to some sort of compromise on the bill, as them making MORE off me than they would if I was insured seemed absolutely wrong. The manager Jacky told me she would hear back in 4-6 weeks from my insurance and we could address it then. The lies then continued... I received my EOB from my insurance on January 29 that they paid out the claim. I heard nothing from the dental. On February 24, after ZERO contact, I reached out for a follow up. I was told they "just" received the check yesterday as their bookkeeper was on vaca. It was less than $400. I, again, asked if they'd like to make things right as it seems unfair they are making $600 more off me when they didn't run my insurance or communicate it was out of network when I arrived. I asked if it would be fair for a compromise and they take the amount they wouldve got from my previous insurance, I eat $800 instead of $1800, and they net the same as they would have instead of making a profit off of being unethical via not being transparent. She said she'd check with the owners and get back to me. Never heard back. On March 3, I asked where the check was as I was leaving town for a few weeks and this unexpected amount was already such a strain. (No payment plan was offered after the appt either). On March 4, I received a text back from Jacky "the check was mailed. I would think you would have it by today." I returned home on March 30 to the check, that was POSTDATED on March 9th - five days after she said it was mailed. Another lie. And zero concern or care for the financial burden this put on me, as I paid in full at checkout in hopes this would be made right. I really struggled writing this review as I do not hand out 1 stars. And they really do have a GREAT dentist there. Unfortunately, to pay for insurance, and deal with an unethically ran business like this with dishonesty, instead of making it right and working with a client of 6 years...leaves me here. If you care about working with an ethically run business or your out of pocket costs, I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere.

On my first visit with Dr. Lee I had been experiencing some pain which I attributed to sensitivity from a gum graft I'd had from a previous provider, some months previously. I was due to have X-rays taken anyway, which revealed a tooth cavity in the area I was having pain. So I was scheduled to come back for a repair a couple of days later. People might think this was an opportunist dentist just making money off me on my first visit, but not so. I was shown X-rays of all my teeth especially the cavity in my tooth. Dr. Lee appeared to be very experienced, and took great care to explain every step and why things happen the way they do to a person's teeth and why he was taking the particular approach he was using to repair the tooth. This was a nice surprise, as he gave way more explanation than other dentists I've had, and I learned a lot from that. He's business-like, but still comfortable to deal with. His dental work was kind, careful and gentle, and I felt no fear or concerns at all, and the repair, though close to the nerve and needing extra care, seems to have been well thought out and done professionally. I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. Dr. Lee explained there might be the need for a root canal, but to begin with he would take the less invasive approach and add a filling. He actually did the filling in two different layers, to help with pain prevention from hot and cold because the cavity was so close to the nerve. I was impressed by this approach. The dental hygienist assisting was fabulous. This team were concerned about my care and listened to my needs without question. The quality of care was really great, and I was made to feel I was the most important person in the room. In the office, both scheduling and checking out, the receptionist was friendly, quick and efficient which I appreciated. I couldn't wish for better. All in all a great first experience with a really good dental team! I recommend them and I'm happy to go back next time!
