I have been going to this dentist for over 2 years now. The staff is attentive and VERY friendly. The 2 doctors who are there are incredibly capable, friendly, and very attentive to detail. I have a medium case of dental phobia and they are considerate to me. Additionally, my gag reflex is very sensitive and that has not caused any anxiety or tension during my visits. My husband also has been going to see them and his teeth needed extensive cleaning and treatments for gum problems. They have catered his treatment to his needs, holding our finances in careful consideration. I can not recommend this clinic more highly. read more

I have been coming to this dental practice for over four years. I have had great, if somewhat impersonal, interactions with various hygienists, dentists, and staff members and had no complaints until today. After every cleaning I have always scheduled a follow up appointment, put it in my phone, and that is that. Recently I'd been getting several texts asking me if I wanted to move up my appointment (not unusual). This time I responded to those texts saying I couldn't make it in at the newly offered times and needed to keep my original appointment. Today I showed up for my appointment and the front office lady told me that I had no appointment and I never did. When I showed her my multiple texts that asked me to move my already-booked appointment, she said that clients only get those texts when they don't have an appointment and that they couldn't accommodate a walk-in today. When I asked her why the text would ask me to move an appointment if it didn't exist, all she did was repeat that those texts are only sent when a person doesn't have an appointment. Again, I've been coming to this spot for over four years and have gotten multiple of these texts in the past when I had appointments booked. I told her politely that I always book a follow-up at my previous appointments and had my calendar reminders on my phone and work schedules. She responded that no, I was wrong, and I never had an appointment. No "it could have been a scheduling glitch," no "oh my apologies maybe we just messed up on our end," nothing. I was wrong, period. I have no desire to continue my health care at a place that can't keep their records straight and has such poor customer service. Will happily go elsewhere. read more

I'll admit that this was my first and only dental place so far (apart from the one and only time my parents took me for a dental clean when I was in 10th grade). My experience with Dr. Hsue and his team has been nothing but amazing. They really take the time to explain and answer all of your questions from technical to general - and I tend to have a lot of them, especially at the beginning! I've had X-rays, fillings, routine cleanings, and Invisalign work all at Annigan Dental. Particularly the Invisalign treatment, where they have really persevered with my hard to move canines and helped me push it through all the way to the end (thanks Melissa for remolding my teeth for what felt like a million times, hope it was good practice!). Also should mention that the team is always quick to respond to emergencies/concerns you have. Everyone really cared and wanted to give you the best they could offer. And their equipment always feels cutting edge; every visit seems to bring a better tool to make both staff and patient's lives easier. Good to see that type of investment. There are a lot of more great things I want to say from financing options, to helping with smooth transitions with insurance, but the review would be too long. 5 stars... for a dentist... not something I ever thought I would do. I have minor dental phobia like most. I recently cracked one of my wisdom teeth and decided that it was time to get over the phobia for anything beyond a cleaning and get a consult. Everyone was so friendly and very accommodating. They asked if I was anxious up front and used that data from the first intro to my consult overview at the end of my visit. At no point did my nerves get the better of me and that's in large part thanks to the people who work here. I plan on having 6 visits over the next 12 months to get my teeth in the shape they should be in and I'm so glad I came here. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

There are lots of nice amenities and upgraded facilities, however my experience has been less than pleasant. Nearly every appointment I've made, they've either cancelled and rescheduled or asked me to come in at a different time. If that was the only concern, it wouldn't be a huge deal. When I started going to Annigan, I was extremely clear about my dental fears and they said they'd work with me. However, they increased my anxiety on every single visit. Rescheduling, not being able to see the same person for cleanings, long wait time in lobby, and wait time in the chair, all increase anxiety. The final issue was not allowing me to have a cleaning, or continue as a client because I refused the x-rays on that visit. Left extremely upset and probably won't find my way back to a dentist for a while. read more

Wonderful staff and clean facility! They take their time to discuss their findings after the consult. It helped me get a better understanding of certain issues with my teeth. I always brought up certain issues in the past with previous dental offices, but this place actually took the time to answer them. I one night made a promise to my fiancé after a few drinks that I was going to get my teeth checked. The catch is I hadn't been to the dentist in 11 years, because I had a horrible experience. My philosophy was if it doesn't hurt don't worry about it. Well I woke up the next morning hoping she had totally forgotten about this, but I was wrong. She remembered clear as day. So, I made the appointment and went in. I was nervous to put it bluntly. I told them I need laughing gas turned up to the legal amount they could give me (don't know what that amount is). I have to say though I still get anxiety over going, but Annigan Dental put my nerves at such ease that first visit, and continue to do so. Annigan Dental is amazing! I used to hate going to the dentist and regularly put off getting my cleanings done. I switched to Annigan Dental last year after reading through their website and everything the said is true. The whole staff was incredible but especially Melissa. She was so calming throughout my exam and then dealt with my complicated insurances so I didn't have to! Dr. Hsue was so kind and I immediately trusted him. Even though I live in Seattle now, doing the drive to Bothell is worth it!! The most gentle cleaning and exam I've ever had. The best dentist office I have ever been to. They changed the name from Reflections dental to Annigan dental - but the service is great as ever. The lobby itself feels like a nice upscale resort rather than a dentist's office ! Great location too.. right off of 405 exit for Beardslee Blvd. Dr. Hsue is wonderful - he will walk you through the photos on the system to explain in detail about your dental condition the recommended treatment options. I have been a patient of this dental office for over two years. My last visit was the worst dental visit I have ever had. I politely and professionally raised to Dr. Hsue's attention the issues but he did not address my complaint. I was scheduled to see a my hygienist Virginia whom I have always seen for each of my cleanings. The office has always scheduled my cleanings with her and they know she is my preferred hygienist. I was scheduled to see her on February 8 at 2pm. I received a call from their office on February 2nd asking me if I wanted to move my appointment at 8am on February 9, which is my preferred time slot as they know from my prior appointments. I accepted. On February 9, I arrived at exactly 8am and to my surprise, I was greeted by someone else who turned out to be the dentist's assistant. As I was asked to go to the back for my cleaning, I saw another patient walk towards my hygienist I normally see to get their cleaning done. This confused me but I patiently waited to see what will happen. The doctor's assistant did not offer the same welcoming service as I normally get. What was really strange is the doctor came to see me next and while I thought that he would do X-rays or some other work, he instead started to do the cleaning himself but very very aggressively. I complained to the doctor of the pain he was causing but all he did was pause and continue his rushed cleaning job. He started the cleaning at 8:10am and ended at 8:30. I have never had a cleaning done in 20 minutes, particularity since I have gum disease. All my prior cleanings were done in at least 1 hour and some of which went over due my dental condition. After the Dr. Hsue finished his rushed cleaning, he told his assistant to polish my teeth and left us. When I first started to go to this dental office over two years ago, Dr. Hsue recommended teeth fillings and laser procedure on my gums. I did what he recommended but I was in a lot of pain for many days after he did the laser procedure. I continued to see the hygienist because she is really good, warm, and caring. But whenever I dealt with Dr. Hsue, I never felt he truly cared. This past appointment was really surprising to me and I decided to politely raise this to the doctor at the front desk. He said he saw me instead of Virginia because my teeth was not that bad and he could do the cleaning himself. But this can't be true. I am scheduled to see my hygienist more frequently than other patients due to my dental condition and even then, it takes at least an hour each time. It was Dr. Hsue's recommendation that I see my hygienist this often. And now suddenly my teeth did not need much cleaning. In fact, in my last appointment with Virginia, she warned me that I may need deep cleaning again because each time she saw me, she notice I don't have much improvement. After listening to the doctor explanation, I realized he was not being honest and truthful, providing one explanation after another that simply made no sense. I thanked the doctor for his time and left. I was very professional and kind towards him, even under the circumstance. I later wrote him an email documenting everything that has occurred, factually stated. Rather than address my complaint appropriately as his patient, he simply wrote me a letter stating "based on the incident from your last visit with us on 2/9/2022 and your subsequent email... we will discontinue your patient care here". He is unfortunately trying to wash his hands away from what he has done and trying to attribute it to an "incident" and what I wrote him afterwards. I only raised to his attention his wrongdoings and terrible experience and pain I received from him. There was no "incident", and my email only stated the facts. I strongly discourage anyone to see this doctor. Read his past reviews and see for yourself what others had to say about his practice. There are many other issues I can write about here but I hope I have raised enough for others to at least question the ethics and conduct of Dr. Hsue and his staff. read more

Annigan Dental definitely gets 5 stars plus some in my book. I came to them to get a dental bridge done for a missing tooth. Dr. Hsu is an extremely talented, knowledgable, and masterful dentist. Unlike a lot of dentists, he explains things very well and is very courteous, mindful, and respectful to patients. They use state of the art technology that even Children's Hospital Dentistry didn't have during my last few years there getting treatment for the after effects of all my cleft lip surgeries. Every step during the way I felt like I was an great hands and I'm very happy with my new smile and felt an immense boost in confidence after the bridge was installed. I had a minor pokey point with the permanent bridge but they were able to get me in the next day, but I get a call a few hours after scheduling asking if I can swing by in a few hours! It's great to know that even after a procedure is finished, Dr. Hsu and his staff are willing to sure you're perfectly happy with the outcome of whatever procedure you're having done. I'm definitely going to Annigan Dental for my routine teeth cleanings. A major tenet of any healthcare professional is to act in your best interest, the patient. I was unlucky when I went to a Bellevue dentist who was more interested in maximizing her profits.
