First time exam and cleaning with Dr . Fox and his staff was excellent! High tech office, sonic water cleanings, digital xrays, pro digital photography of all your teeth. I now realize what a disservice my last dentist was doing me. Actually seeing hi res images of your teeth and fillings is such a valuable tool! Many people fear the dentist; obviously, those people don't go to Ryan Fox, DDS. My face had an unfortunate meeting with the pavement, turning my front tooth into a razor shard 1/4 the size of the original. Dueling banjos began playing in my head as I forced a crooked smile into the mirror, my appearance had transformed into a bad guy from Deliverance. After a brief phone call I was shuffled into the days schedule. On arrival I was greeted by Dr. Fox and his son who was visiting in the waiting area. I explained my situation and showed off my broken smile, which nearly sent the boy into tears. With confidence, Dr. Fox explained to his son that he was going to fix my teeth. The procedure was painless, quick (1.5 hours), and the teamwork that took place was impeccable. I arose from the chair thinking the procedure couldn't possibly be complete. I investigated by rubbing my tongue against the problem area and to my astonishment, it felt exactly like my old tooth. I was handed a mirror and I saw my 'pre-pavement' smile (possibly better...). It was such a fine experience that I'm half tempted to grab pliers and give myself more reasons to visit the office. Thanks to Dr. Fox and his top notch staff! read more

I just switched to Dr. Fox and was thoroughly impressed. Dr. Fox and his staff were friendly and professional, I didn't have to wait in his waiting room an inordinate amount of time (like at my old dentist's office), but what I liked the best, was that he took photos of all my teeth. He then transferred them to his client management system and I was able to sit there in the chair and Dr. Fox pointed out (on the computer monitor in front of us) and explained what was going on with all my teeth. I like the fact that he takes pictures (actual photographs) in addition to the x-rays. This way he has a benchmark of comparison and doesn't have to rely on memory or written notes. Great use of technology, I love it! I also liked the fact that he looked all through my mouth for any signs of cancer. My old dentist never did that in the 10 years I had been going to him. I have already told everyone back at my office that they should switch to him and will continue to tell all what a great place this is. read more

I have so many good things to say about Dr Fox and his practice. Let's start with Susie. Susie could not be a nicer person to deal with! She is always super friendly and upbeat, and she responds quickly to emails when scheduling appointments. She is literally a delight to talk to on the phone and in person. Next up, Jamie. Where do they find these friendly people? Jamie is my hygienist, she is so nice and so good at her job you barely know you're at the dentist. She'll be sure to remind you to floss always, and my experiences with her have always been pain free. Finally Dr Fox. He's also very friendly, obviously knows so much about what he is doing, and I've even had to have dreaded crown work done with him and I felt no pain or discomfort. I came to Dr Fox because I felt that my last dentist's work was sub par, and it really was comparatively. I want the best for my teeth, that's why I will keep going to Dr Fox. I just changed dentists to Dr. Fox after being dissatisfied with the job my previous dentist did fixing my chipped front teeth. Boy, was I blown away! Just from looking at my teeth during my free consultation, Dr. Fox could tell my entire dental history starting from the oral surgery I had when I was 10, the methods my orthodontist used when I had braces, my root canals, and all my tooth-chipping accidents. He even deduced the way in which I was grinding my teeth at night, which I had never heard before. It was the most knowledgeable and insightful diagnosis I've ever received from a doctor! Naturally, Dr. Fox and his team have earned my trust and I am consistently more and more impressed. Communication is high and I am confident in his minimally invasive approach to getting my bite back into place. Also, he went above and beyond in fixing a chip in my tooth by polishing out others to make my bite more comfortable. My teeth look better than they did before I chipped them! The entire staff, especially Susie and Cindy, are warm, friendly, and helpful. Always on top of things, with convenient reminders to notify you of upcoming appointments, the place is spotless and the reception area is similar to a lobby in a very nice hotel. I have been going to Ryan Fox as my dentist ever since he came to Kingsgate. He is wonderful. The worst part of oral work to me has always been the shot to deaden the pain. He has such a wonderful way that while I can feel the process, I get no (that's ZERO) pain. He and his staff are wonderful. I once chipped my tooth over by the Safeway across from his office and called in to make an appointment. They had just had a cancellation and my tooth was fixed within an hour. Long story short, I've been seeing this dental office for about 4 or 5 years mostly for cleanings, however, last week I re-chipped a tooth a few days prior to a big industry trade show and conference that I was attending and needed some immediate attention. I figured it would be highly unlikely that I would be able to be seen on such short notice and to my surprise the people at this office were extremely understanding and accommodating to my situation. They are very flexible and always sensitive to my hectic schedule. I will often receive calls a few days prior to my appointment w/ other openings to see if those may fit better. What I like the most about Dr. Fox is that he does not promote any single product or vendor and simply gives great objective feedback/input on services and treatment plans. I've been going to this place since I was a little girl... When the old man left, I wasn't happy... The first time I got a cavity filled, Dr. Fox hit a nerve that sent a shock to my foot. I would cry after that whenever they put a needle in my mouth because it caused me high stress... A assistant told me, "You're an adult. Don't be a baby." the first time I cried. Susy is awesome and so is one of the other assistants. But I feel that the rest see it more as a 'task' or 'job' then really putting their heart into it... When they don't talk to you when they do work and don't make you feel less stressed about a procedure, it doesn't make you feel good... Dr.Fox did a filling, and found another, which he did for free (so he said) because I said I couldn't afford it. I got charged anyways, and 2 weeks later, after multiple calls and a few messages left, finally find out they are going to refund it... Great. Problem solved... Unfortunately, the tooth he worked on is now super sensitive to the cold... While I like a few of the people there, Dr. Fox and a one specific assistant make me very unhappy and have for many years. I kept going because I lived so close, but I have moved further away and plan to get a new dentist for convenience sake. I'm not giving a 'one time' or 'new to the office' experience review. I've been going there since before Dr. Fox came in...and I'm not happy with how I am treated. Yes, they do some great work and nice things, like giving me some free gas when I finally got brave enough to explain my anxiety about needles. But...you can do as many nice things as you want to 'keep a client', but when the attitude and demeanor you present isn't friendly...it's...not a nice place. I thank them for the work they've done over the years, but I need someone closer...and who actually tries harder to make me feel like they're happy to see me and that I'm more than just another person coming in. read more

Dr. Fox is the best dentist I've ever had. He does excellent restorative AND cosmetic work. My treatment plan started with a deep cleaning to address a gum issue my previous dentist missed, and they did this for MUCH less than another dentist wanted to charge me, and the treatment was very successful. He did four crowns for me that are a perfect fit and color match, and he makes them on premises! He did excellent bonding work on my front teeth that had small chips years ago, rather than recommending much more expensive veneers as a first option. Dr. Fox always explains the issues very well and gives you the information you need to make informed choices, rather than dictating a treatment program to you with no options. His hygienists also do first rate work, and his great office staff is always helpful. Dr. Fox gives you great results while respecting your needs and input, and they take a cost effective approach to treatment without sacrificing quality! read more

They seemed to want to find any little thing that could be wrong with my teeth and attempt to charge me for it. They told me I had multiple cavities which with my insurance would cost almost $1000 to fix since this office doesn't offer amalgam fillings, only composite fillings. I later confirmed with a new dentist that I had no cavities... hmm... They also take pictures of your teeth with a camera then charge you for it (which dental insurance often doesn't cover). But they don't mention this while you're at the office. The front office staff and dental assistants were nice though. read more

This is as great an experience as you can have going to the dentist. The staff remembers me and knows who I am as soon as I come through the door even though I only come in twice a year. I had to get a filling last year and Dr. Fox was much faster than my previous dentist and left no pain afterwords, as I have felt before with other dentists. My experience at Dr.Fox's office was excellent from start to finish! I broke a tooth so it was important to get in quickly which they did on the same day, Dr. Fox and Wendy were able to do a large filling on a damaged tooth saving me a lot of money. Also the nerve was exposed but not damaged due to the extreme care they took saving me pain and money, The ladies up front are very sweet and helpful, they quickly took my payment via Care credit and I was on my way. If you are nervous and uncomfortable going to the Dentist office. Dr. Fox is not for you. If they do not like you they treat you bad and make you feel uncomfortable in their office. This doctor is only concerned with the quantity and speed of the work to get you in and out, I guess to make more money, and missing things along the way, so you have to come back for another painful bad experience. They treated my other family members badly also, and they never want to go there again. I will never go back to this clinic again or recommend it to anyone.The receptionist is the only nice person there, she is always smiling and treats you very well. read more
