However, when I arrived, the receptionist informed me that because the visit involved a panoramic x-ray, I would need to pay out of pocket. This was unexpected and confusing, especially since my insurance covers x-rays as part of a routine cleaning. What's most frustrating is that the office refused to proceed with the appointment, despite having verified insurance coverage beforehand. I wasn't given a clear explanation as to why the panoramic x-ray was required or why it wasn't covered, and no alternative was offered. After going to another dentist I decided to review this one as the comparison showed a major contrast. I went here to establish as a new patient, to be honest I was kind of bribed by OpenCare, with an $85 giftcard to Sephora as incentive for choosing this place. I figured I did not have a lot to loose considering I'd get the giftcard at the very least. I went in for my new patient exam, the staff seemed a little too busy to greet me. I remember it being a little awkward. I could tell one of the receptionist was likely the dentists mom, they both have the same kind of demeanor and speaking patterns, talking down to you or like you are inferior while also acting inconvenienced to be doing their job. The waiting room looked nice. Had a coffee station, nice furniture and a fire place. I sat for about 15 or 20 minutes past my appointment waiting to be called back. The temperature of the waiting rooms was uncomfortable and I mentioned it and the assistant said it was always freezing or too hot. Then he told me that they didn't open the door because then it would smell like Subway bread, which was a smell the receptionists did not like. The assistant who took my x-rays was pretty cool out of everybody there he seems like a nice honest guy, he also seemed a little bit nervous. And I met with the doctor she made some condescending remarks about my teeth, something about how I need to drink my coffee faster and she made a snarky remark that I probably drink wine every night? I told her explicitly about my extreme dental fear and I remember her laughing/ scoffing when I expressed my fear. This made me pretty uncomfortable and it made me not really trust the place. I was told that I needed six or seven fillings and that it would be hard to do everything I needed and one appointment and that even one to two hours would not be enough time. They scheduled me for a cleaning a few days later and it went to have the cleaning and there was a substitute/float hygienist. She was extremely nice and I liked her. She was very attentive and seemed very thorough. I was disappointed that she floated from clinic clinic in that I wouldn't have her as a hygienist again because she was the kindest one I encountered at this dental office. I do remember that fluoride was NOT even offered. On my way out I asked the receptionist about it and she said oh it just probably isn't covered by your insurance then she flipped through some papers, (while acting like it was annoying to have to search through my paperwork) and then finally said yeah it's not covered if you want it's going to be a $40-50 charge. Eventually I ended up calling to schedule my appointment for fillings and was reminded of how unprofessional they were. I called and kept having to be put on hold while the receptionist spoke with the dentist or trying to find me a spot I was calling about 1.5 months before the end of the year and was reminded of how inconsiderate the staff was. I eventually ended up going to a different dentist all together and found out fluoride is and always has been covered by my insurance and that I only needed 1 filling and had 2 areas to watch. The dentist was very nice, asked if I had questions, offered a referral for TMJ massage and told me my teeth looked great. After having such a completely different experience at the other office that I am now established at, I thought it was my duty to tell other people about my experience in case others have had the same. read more

I have been to lots of dental offices and I rarely like them. Dr. Caballlero and Accent Dental Center is the best dental office i have ever been to in my life. Everyone should go see Caballero no matter where you have gone prior, because you will switch. I had three teeth pulled seven hours ago. I haven't experienced any pain or needed to take any medication since I left the office. Great Things about this dental office: 1. Great parking and super easy to find!I The office is less than a mile from the Freeway exit; 2. Office is clean and COVID- safe; 3. Super Polite, professional, kind and friendly staff including my dental assistant and Donna at the front; Everyone was so nice to the extreme. 4. I was planning to drive over before my appt. at Accent to ask my former dentist for my latest x-rays. Before leaving my house, I called over to make sure they would be able to provide me with my x-rays prior to my 230pm appt. with Dr. C. When I called, they said that Ella at Dr. Caballero's Office had already requested and received them. Ella was also the angel who promptly responded to my email looking for a new patient appointment. She was super flexible and accommodating in scheduling. 5. Transparent and inexpensive pricing; 6. Dr. Caballero was really knowledgeable, gentle, kind and caring; he didn't make me feel guilty about my horrible teeth issues or make me feel the least bit uncomfortable; 7. Dr. C WAS REALLY knowledgeable about the nerves and how and where to inject me for my procedure. He didn't just inject in the localized area; instead he injected in a sort of diagonal pattern with more pain killer than usual. I felt no pain at all (even with the first shots -when I was really nervous). Prior to my leaving the office, Dr. C explained that he wasn't working Friday but that if i experienced any dental pain, he would come in on Friday just to help me out. Crazy cool, right? As long as I live in Seattle, I will never go to another dentist. In writing this and in telling my friends, I feel like i am revealing a good secret and I can't wait to hear back from them with their own praises for Dr. C and Accent Dental! read more

I hadn't been to the dentist in 8 years, because I didn't like the last dentist I went to. Of course I was full of apprehension going in after 8 years and the bad news, and chastisement I would get from not going for so long. Dr. Caballero was kind, and extremely understanding. No chastisement, no lashings, just kindness. He was informative and extremely knowledgeable. He put me at ease, and explained what we needed to do. (surprisingly, not a whole lot). The whole office was wonderful. Ella was awesome in the teeth-cleaning, even though I know she had her work cut out for her. They have won a life time patient and a regular. read more

Doctors Perez and Caballero are amazing! They are caring, kind and professional. If you have an emergency they are always able to get you in immediately. The entire clinic staff welcome you with a smile and know you and your family personally. It is a family atmosphere and you know that they genuinely care about you. Dr. Perez is also an Orthodontist and provides excellent orthodontia treatment. I had an implant by Dr. Perez and had no problems at all. I have referred several people to the clinic and they love the care they receive also. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this clinic is!! I've been coming to Accent Dental Center for probably around 5 years. I enjoy going there every single time. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist but this place has definitely changed that experience. I always end up having at least two good conversations while I am there; once at the check in and once in the dentist chair. I love their new location too! Everything is so clean, fresh and all their equipment is high tech. I remember the very first time I came there. I was impressed with their service and kindness. But the biggest shocker was how much I've learned about teeth that day. They explained things on a scientific level, not just your basic "brush and floss each day". Ella at front desk is so rude and of course she is perfect. If there something wrong is always patient's fault. She gave me an estimated after she talked to my insurance. And the day of my appointment I was ready for my treatment and she came and told me "you need to pay today the whole amount for the work the dentist is going to performe today" I replied: sure I will. She said "I mean right now" I was like: what? Really? Do you think I won't pay? But i didn't say anything and went back to front desk and paid "the full amount" it was 1,200. A month later I got a bill for another 700 and I was like no way. Well yes! Because she didn't do her work well. When I called S she said it was because she assumed I still have all my 2,000 benefits and she made my estimate based on that. I was like: why you tell me this now and no before my treatment or when you made my estimate. I guess is because is not her money so she doesn't care. Actually she told me "many patients has been in the same situation and they pay out of pocket, you are not the only one". Well with her poor service I bet so many patience experienced the same bad situation. And her argument was I should talk with my insurance before my treatment. Also she made a mistake when she filled it personal details in dentist system and she stated it was my fault. I mean she is the one who put the info in the system so how come shall I make that mistake. Never back again there. I'm going back to my previous dentist even thou I need to drive one hour or so. There I never got this kind of bad service and they never treat me like I need to pay prior treatment. Honestly find a better place and save your time, energy and money. read more

I have been going to dr caballero and dr Perez for several years now and referred many patients. My experience has been ahhhhmazing. I picked them because they were close to my office and I got very lucky. I no longer work in bothell, but would not trade them. So now I commute from Seattle and I don't mind at all. They are so worth it. The front staff, Ella and Donna are so wonderful. Robin is the best at getting your teeth clean...and she does how ever long it takes, no rush job here. I have been a "happy Patient" at Accent Dental Center for many years...it's the only dental office that I will ever go to. The Doctors are very knowledgeable and gentle; the staff is friendly, fun, welcoming and is very good about reminding me about my appointments and making sure that I get my cleaning every 6 months and complete my treatment. The office is High-tech and has the latest diagnostic equipment and uses excellent educational tools for the patients. Doctors take time to explain my treatment options, I have never felt rushed. They are very respectful of patient time, I don't recall ever waiting for a scheduled appointment. They have "movie glasses" with good selection of movies and give you headphones to listen to music while having your dental work done. I definitely recommend going to see Drs.
