I was in need of a permanent set of dentures because my temporary set was never great to begin with. 15 years later they left a lot to be desired. I read reviews and finally chose Avenue Dental. My husband and I, as well as a dear family friend, made appointments. After three to four months, I was originally told approximately a month, I finally had my teeth. The dentist was on vacation so I was given the dentures and sent on my way. My husband was out of it for his appointment as he had teeth pulled but the temporary dentist kept apologizing. I wasn't sure what was going on but he said they would make it right, something about the dentures being wrong, and they scheduled an appointment the following week. So my husband had no teeth for that week and then another week after that appointment. His still do not fit and he refuses to wear them. It's been about 4 months and my teeth fall out when I speak so I called in and asked about a fitting since I had not had one originally. I went in and was told that they needed realigning because of bone loss. It's been 4 months, my last teeth lasted 15 years and I never needed any adjustments. The office then sent in a person with a quote of a $1000. I explained I couldn't do that so if I had to pay so much I would only be doing the top, she said sign it anyway. I was originally told that adjustments were $150, and I had asked if I needed to pay that for this visit since no fitting was ever done to the teeth. I was told there should have been one and it was implied I wasn't being truthful. Keep in mind I had just paid somewhere around $5000 for the teeth. The assistant left to make an appointment for next week, she came back in and I was told to hand over my teeth, that I should have them back in a few days. I had already explained I needed to schedule for next week so I could try to find my old teeth so I could eat and speak for those days. I explained again I could not do that today, she explained it was the only way it worked with the dentist schedule. I was finally told to call when I was ready to get it done and they would schedule me then, and then I was walked to the door. So now I'm out almost 13,000 cash for myself and my husband and I'm going to have to go to another dentist that does what they say. Please beware! Most of us cannot afford to go and get new teeth let alone be robbed when we do. I'm so upset, I no longer have teeth I feel confident in and I do not have another $13000 to make it right, it was a a once in a lifetime opportunity, nor do I want to go for 2-3 days without teeth while I wait to get them corrected. The dentist only works Thursday & Friday, which explains why my 1 month time frame turned into 4 months. I had read the reviews and I thought I'd found a place I could trust but now I'm out the money, I have teeth that fall out when I speak, and I was treated like I was not worth their time. read more

Just wanted to add a shout out to Mandy the receptionist. She always remembers to call this old aging guy with a failing memory a reminder call and or text. At any rate in case my old review isn't repeated this is THE place recommended by all my co-workers at FM. They do quality work and are very up front about costs. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Everyone there also seems to be quite happy working there as well. It's always service with a genuine smile. I went here based off of a recommendation from a co-worker though she mentioned one dentist I should look out for. Which of course ends up being the dentist I get. I had an infected/decaying tooth that needed an extraction. The dentist agreed. Immediately they started asking for my debit card while sitting in the chair!!!! I said "ok. Well since it's infected shouldn't we start with antibiotics first then come back once the tenderness and inflammation in my entire left cheek goes away to then extract it?" The dentist advised I get it pulled now over some fake reason of "the infection needs the exposure to oxygen". They show me the bill and take my payment while I'm in the chair. Terrible experience where I could feel everything and the healing process was the most painful experience I've ever been through. About a month later they send me a text saying my insurance paid less out of pocket then expected and I owe the remains balance. These people tried scamming me to pay over $100 for a tooth extraction with full dental coverage. No thanks. read more

They advertise free estimates. Not true: many years ago Sharma installed an expensive crown in my tooth #30, it didn't fit, so he ground it a few times, leaving a large gap between it and tooth #31. He suggested, with the crowding in my teeth nearby that the gap would close. It never did. I went back, with x-rays I had sent to them, to show the gap never closed. The receptionist or whomever was at the counter said dentist wouldn't see me without charging a visit fee. They never did tell me what that fee would be, only that they would try to bill my out-of-network insurance. My conclusion: not only didn't I get a "free estimate", but Avenue Dental Care, 1920 100th St SE. Ste C1 Everett, WA 98208, wouldn't even take a look at Sharma's workmanship I have been stuck with all these years. read more

Everyone here is super friendly and you can tell that they care. I had some major work done by Dr. Sharma and Dr. Puri and they have been absolutely amazing. Very responsive and thorough. I love that they have a text messaging system. If I call and they're busy, they usually have someone follow up with a quick text message, which is my preferred method of communication. This no-frills office was a godsend for me during a recent tooth emergency. First of all, to agree with a previous review - they are upfront about the cost of services, which is reasonable (important to those of us who are currently uninsured). But, what really sets this office apart is the caring, patience, and sincere friendliness of the staff ("ditto" once again, to that previous reviewer). My dentist during the visit, Dr. Sharma, was gentle, kind, and extremely professional. She thoroughly explained the procedure she was about to perform, and carefully went over the longterm options. Theres never a small problem no matter how well you take care of your teeth or how often you get check ups, everything is a root canal/crown so they can make the most money off of you. They're constantly missing things and letting them become bigger problems, I had a small filling that "they needed to keep an eye on" and then six months later it was all of a sudden a huge cavity that needed a root canal and crown. I had a sore tooth where they had recently done a filling and went to get it looked at, they took one xray, told me nothing is wrong and there was nothing to fix, appointment lasted 10 minutes and they let me go without charge, then called an hour later and said, actually you owe $60 for that appointment!! Had an earlier appointment scheduled for later in the month with one of the Dentist here at Avenue. However, while waiting for that Dental appointment I had an emergency tooth issue come up. I found myself in excruciating pain, but never fear, Chelsea at Avenue Dental was able to get me in right away she was courteous, professional, and most of all compassionate to my circumstance. I was then met by Stephanie the Dental Assistant who was very comforting and totally put me at ease. When it came to having the extraction completed, Dr. Kenny and staff were very empathetic to my emergency and treated me with care, and the upmost compassion. I believe they really felt my sense of urgency. Dr. Kenny explained the xray findings and explained the whole procedure including how they planned to address the pain I was in. Dr. Kenny is highly skilled and went to work immediately getting me out of pain. He took excellent care of me did the extraction that day, and today only two days later, happy to report pain free and healing nicely so far. I have a follow appointment of course. I have been visiting them for more than an year now. They have been consistently good. Great team at reception, great set of doctors and nurses, very professional overall. I drive from Kirkland to visit their clinic, due to the extra care they take before, during and after the visit. Recently, I had an implant. They made my entire experience from the time of identifying the issue to finishing up the job, as easy as it can get. Kudos to the great team at this clinic. This is the place to go if you don't have insurance; Prices are as good as they get for dental, and sometimes one can find an on-line discount. They will work with you. I have come here after doing a Google search for implants and Dr. Sharma's price was very reasonable. But when I got here, they pulled the bait 'n switch on me. Instead of honoring the price they advertise, they quoted me DOUBLE!! Seriously?! Oh, but the best part was when they tried to make me pay $50 for a FREE consultation! STAY AWAY!!! I came to this office because my insurance worked with them. They told me I have 8 new cavities on the sides of my teeth. (They were stains) the ADVISED me to fill them. I agreed thinking they knew what they were talking about. They drilled my teeth and cracked one. Then they say oh you need a crown. Basically the bled my insurance for every penny! This is the best dental practice I have ever been to. I've been a patient for nine years, so I have a lot of experience and trust with their quality dental work! I used to have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist, but not anymore. Dr. Arpita Sharma and the whole staff is very caring and professional. They are also good about working with my schedule, and I never seem to have to wait long for my appointments. I recently called with severe tooth pain that had crept up over the weekend... they were able to see me that same day and even able to perform the root canal I needed, even though it was already late afternoon! I'm not from Washington but I needed immediate dental attention. I was very hesitant and nervous to see a dentist so far from home but the people at Avenue Dental Care made me feel very comfortable. I have had extensive work done on my teeth back home and the dentist I went to for 27 years was NEVER this good to me. I saw Dr. Arpita and she was a very sweet lady. She showed compassion and empathy with my situation and did everything she could to help me out. I thought I would have to spend $10k to have 2 teeth extracted and have bridges or implants, but she did a thorough check and told me that my teeth could be saved and were definitely worth saving. I had been in pain for 6 months and was on antibiotics and pain killers for that long until I went to see Dr. Arpita. I had headaches like I had never had before and they all went away after Dr. Arpita worked her magic. She performed a root canal. She always made sure to tell me exactly what she was doing before she did it. If knew she was going to do something that may cause a little discomfort, she made sure to tell me. But none of it was bad. The procedure took quite awhile, but it was to be expected and I knew she was trying to be thorough. She was even courteous enough to apologize and explained why the procedure was taking a little longer. I didn't mind it. I think the only reason why I didn't like it was because my jaws were killing me from having my mouth open for that long (I have TMD, so that is to be expected as well). But, that soreness went away. Now, I have absolutely NO headaches. I am a happy camper! The entire staff at Avenue Dental were terrific. The dental assistants, Anna and Rachel, were very kind and energetic. They really knew their stuff too, which made me feel even more at ease. They are a friendly bunch at Avenue Dental and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone in the Everett, WA area. Hey, even if you AREN'T from Everett, WA and are just in the area like I was, I would definitely recommend them. They also gave me a $25 gift card to Target for referring my boss. STAY AWAY! Poor work. Poor follow up on problems from poor work. Told i had to go somewhere else to have poor work fixed at my cost. Then i was treated like a criminal and threatened collections when my two insurance companys did not cover a small fee of the poor work. Not sent a propper statement just called and told we owe now. Very rude and unprofessional on all levels. Just a cattle drive for cash! Did not care if they kept the family as patients. From the moment there was an issue with my origional work I was treated like the plague. Then the billings dept made it even uglier for no reason. read more

This is the WORST dental office I have ever been to. Needed a tooth pulled and the dentist there, John Kelly, was the absolute worst dentist I've ever been to. Not only was the procedure extremely painful, more than it should've been, but he "forgot" to send me home with the antibiotics I needed as well as a care package with a syringe and rinse to clean my mouth out. I went to see someone else and they told me how bad of a job he did as well. I wasn't taking the medication I was supposed to because he never told me I needed it and never gave it to me. This caused me to get an infection and a dry socket. I do not recommend anyone use this dental office, even if for a dental emergency! read more
