UPDATE: to further clarify my earlier post we had an emergency root canal and supposed crown work done for my son on a Sunday morning. After being presented with a bill for $2600 I asked if that included all crown work as well I was told absolutely it did and the crown will be ready in two weeks. It is now mid July. We are being told that the services did not include the crown, that no impressions were taken when they absolutely were and that if we want any further services, we would have to pay more. These people are only here to take advantage of your pain and suffering go somewhere else! read more

I called up for loose tooth which I wanted pulled and I got in the next day. Arrived for the appointment and everything went smooth. The front desk took care of everything with my insurance and was glad to do it. After the X ray we determined that the tooth had to go, so the Dr. pulled it and everything is great no pain. All 3 people in the office were very friendly and seemed to love there job. Thanx agaian for the great experience. Absolutely DO NOT recommend this dental Office. Complete money grab. Went in for a broken tooth (broken many times before so it is already composite). Required an xray and initial examination. I get the exam but the xray? There was no pain or damage done and the xray was done before I even met the doctor. $100 gone. And then they tell me they're out of network (they told me all was good on the phone when I made the appointment). And then they told me a simple composit build up would be over $500 on top of the $100 paid. This was well over double what I would pay at my own dentist. DO NOT go to Emergency Dental Care USA, Everett. You will arrive to hear they can't find your insurance, you will pay out of pocket, then the clinic will submit a claim to your insurance that is only a fraction of what you paid out of pocket. Once you start getting pushy and asking questions, they will claim it was an accidental overcharge and the "check is on the way." They overcharged me roughly $1,100, cashed a $200 insurance payment, and still haven't refunded me months later, essentially getting paid twice for the same work. The office manager, Tracy, keeps passing the buck to "corporate," but claims there is no corporate phone number for me to call. The supposed "corporate" contact Erica never responds. They refuse to communicate in writing, provide zero proof of refunds or admission of fault, and allegedly mail checks that never arrive. This is not an accident. It is blatant, calculated disregard for patients and their money. Other reviews show the same pattern of overcharging, runarounds, and ignored refunds. TRUST THEM. If you value your time, sanity, or hard-earned money, stay far away from this clinic. I have reported this issue to higher channels and encourage others to do the same. read more

Wow! I'm so grateful and impressed! I had an old gold crown come loose and since I'm very low income ($700 a month) and 78 I just wanted the crown reseated but most dentists want $3000+++ to do a root canal, and a new crown. Not only were the folks on the phone so upbeat and positive and understanding, Tracy (Traci?) at the front desk on 19th Ave so friendly and thoughtful, the lovely Ukranian Lady Natasha so kind and affable I felt right at home. I called them and got an appointment in one hour, and they accommodated my inability to get a new crown and root canal so I am home and happy as a clam at high tide! I came here for an emergency filling, I noticed there was literally blood on one of the instruments before my exam began and when I mentioned it to the doctor he seemed to get annoyed at me immediately. After mentioning the blood on the tools and waiting for them to clean it, the doctor looked at my tooth, said yeah you need a replacement filling, go to your regular dentist, and they had me leave. I genuinely think they sent me on my way because I offended them by pointing out the unsanitary conditions and they decided they didn't want to help me. I have top notch insurance and even though they billed my insurance and got paid they would not refund the EXCESSIVE charges they made me pay before any work was done out of pocket because they are not on the preferred dentist plan with any insurance company. This is the most irresponsible dental facility. My wife had a tooth pulled and they used almost no pain relief and then just pulled the tooth with no regard for her health. The made me pay the amount that they thought was my responsibility and after I got my responsibility, they acted like if I had not called about the difference they would not reimburse me. I can't speak on any actual service provided because my insurance didn't cover the providers that they had at the time I was there. (They had one person in network but there weren't there anymore.) The front desk lady Gale was so helpful and kind. She listened to all of my worries and questions and then ran everything through the insurance before I was seen to let me know if it would be covered or not. When she saw that it wasn't she was very sympathetic and went out of her way to help find me somewhere else to go. Everyone else that I saw working there seemed to want to avoid any interaction at any cost but Gale is an excellent person to have as the face of the establishment. Thank you Gale! read more

Well to start off, I already had a bad excellenc experience 5 years ago here. The dentist tried to remove my tooth while I had an abscess.. After that was not happening he told me to take antibiotics and come back another day. Sent me away with my face swollen and no pain relief. Thefront desk called me after I left and said she talked to the other dentist andgot me a few pain killers till I find someone to fixmy tooth. Now, all dentist offices are closed because of this covid19 but them... My husband went in spent 200 for an x ray and they said sorry can't help it needs a root canal maybe.. Like really!! Emily at the front desk is so sweet and my experience here was much much better than my normal dentist office. Took my boyfriend here for an emergency wisdom tooth surgery. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The waiting room is small but clean. Turns out they take insurance plans, but are not in anyone's network, so almost everything you get done here will be pricy and out of pocket. The office visit was 30$ and X-rays were 60$. I recommend this place if you're situation is truly an emergency, otherwise I recommend waiting for an in-network provider. read more

Stay away from this office, run if you could. They fucked up my teeth so bad I ended up needing to go to a different office to fix them again, with covid I had to live with the pain for 2 months. They refused to fix the problems that they started, and seriously, it was just some simple fillings. Front desk staffs were rude, they double charged the bills and only when I called my insurance and filed the complaint, they admitted that they fucked up. First of all, it's AMAZING that you can schedule/request an appointment online. I hate making phone calls, especially for health-related stuff, so it was really cool to be able to say "I want an appointment at this time, for this reason." I got a call back within an hour or so from their receptionist(?), asking if a later appointment that same day was okay (it was - and they had an appointment for just one hour later than the one I'd requested!) When I showed up, the front desk lady apologized for things being a little off, because their computers had been down for a while. I'm not a horrible person, so I understood, and I didn't end up waiting that much longer than I normally do for scheduled healthcare appointments anyway. Every member of the staff I interacted with was very warm and friendly, they even joked with me (which I'm sure is something they do to help lower patient anxiety - it worked!) They thoroughly explained what they'd be doing. I did basically wait alone in an exam room for like an hour, though, but that's happened to me pretty much at any healthcare place. I understand, they only have so many people on staff and it's more efficient for them to jump from patient to patient. When they did come in the room for various reasons, they were very nice and didn't seem like they were in a hurry. My only real complaints - the room where I was for most of the visit was very drab, and there's no music being pumped into those rooms, so sitting there alone for so long was really boring. I suppose I should just start bringing my ipod with me to play games on for situations like that. The actual procedure (an extraction) went super smoothly and was over in no time at all. Even with all my waiting, I was still out of there quicker than when I had my cavities filled somewhere else. And even the front desk lady at the foot/ankle care clinic that shares a waiting room with them was friendly. read more

It was easy to set an appt., courteous upon reception, clear explanation of fees and services, and I left feeling much better. My husband started experiencing pain and Emergency Dental was very accommodating for last minute appointments. They fixed him up in a few hours and he felt great hours later. They are open from like 9AM-9PM and have payment plans available. His experience was so good that when I chipped my front tooth and didn't want to leave the house, they saw me the same day. They made sure I was satisfied before I left. I actually wasn't when I first looked at myself in the car mirror. I came back in and asked them to fix the tooth next to the one they shaved down so they would match. They were really good about resetting everything back up and making sure I was happy. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this place! I came in on a Saturday morning with a horrible tooth ache. I was seen within a few minutes. I learned I was in need of a root canal. My insurance unfortunately was not accepted here and I had to pay out of pocket. There was no pressure at all to have the full procedure done and was told he could do a temp fix until I could go see my dentist so it would be cheaper for me. They do payment plans but you have to apply for the care credit to do the monthly payments. I was in and out within an hour or so. I was finally able to make it to my dentist to have my root canal done and she complimented the other dentist who did my emergency procedure saying he did a great job. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist were very nice and did a great job! Although paying out of pocket was not ideal, if I ever have an emergency again I would definitely come back! read more

So just an update to the service we received. My wife went to the dentist because she was having pain issues and infection. We found out that one of the teeth that they supposedly pulled, they just pulled the top part and left the roots in the mouth. This has caused pain and looks like caused some infection. I was seen today at the Everett, WA office. I have never in my life had such a terrible experience. The doctor, Dr. David Percy, was extremely rude and very unprofessional to My Grandmother and I. He had CLEARLY not taken ANY look at my record to see what had been done at my last appointment. He gave me 3 injections to numb the tooth (that had little to no effect). When I told him that my tooth was not numb yet and that the Valium had not made me feel relaxed, He seemed irritated and then accused me of being dishonest about medications that I had been taking, because I took a prescribed Valium one hour before my appointment... A Valium that HIS OFFICE had prescribed for me to take before the tooth pulling appointment. This information should have been in my chart and he would have known... had he looked at it.. When I tried to explain this to him... He told me to "figure it out" and he stormed out, clearly angry, and never returned... Very unprofessional. I then spoke to the receptionist who just kept trying to defend him and cover for him. I am livid. I was so upset with this experience, that I am now sitting here dealing with this abcess tooth because I would rather be in excruciating pain for a few more days than to let that man remove my tooth. I am extremely angry about the care that i was given today and will not be going back OR recommending them to ANYONE. And I will make sure to let everyone that I know about my experience so that they do not go into the same place and have the same TERRIBLE experience that i had. I believe that something should be done about this man and this office. They were clearly not trained in ethics or professionalism. I will also be contacting the better business bureau and anyone else that i need to to get something done about this. NO ONE should have to be treated that way... especially when they are going in for something they are already nervous about. I dont know about these other offices... Do not go here!! Trust the one stars! I paid $95 for 5 minutes with this dentist. I have never had such a painful headache due to two head infections. I was only on day 1.5 of antibiotics. I was hoping that it was something caught in my implants, but there wasn't, so he did nothing. I could barely walk with severe dizziness & pain. He told me to take advil & tyenol, which I had taken all day. He didn't bother to ask what I took either! Completely unphased of my incredible pain. Do not go here if you are in pain!! Wish I had read the reviews prior to taking my 12-year-old daughter there for possible dry sockets after getting 2 permanent teeth pulled. I now know why the collect payment prior to any service because there would be many people walking out refusing to pay... I sure the hell would of. I was debating taking her there or to Children's where she received her oral surgery. But because this place was close to home and got an appointment I decided to give it a shot... simply because of how much pain my daughter has been in. Saw the dentist for not even 5 minutes to tell me it is still healing and no dry sockets. And only advice to use Tylenol and ibuprofen. Gee dumb fuck, don't you think I've been doing that when my daughter has been crying and in pain for over 4 days now. Nothing was done at the office! A waste of my time and $105 for him to say jack shit other than to follow up with the surgeon. Should of saved my money and done that in the first place. DO NOT EVER GO HERE! The first thing you see When you walk in the door is a very dirty fish tank. The whole place is dirty, the equipment is out of date, the place is very run down- they overcharge and tell you you need procedures that you actually don't need. I'll explain- When I called Saturday night to make an appointment they said I could pay the fee with an in house payment plan. When I Showed up for my appointment on Sunday they asked for the fee, I said I was going to do the payment plan and she hands me a credit card appication. I told her I do not want a credit card I want the in house payment plan. She then tells me the exam and x-rays are not covered with the in house payment plan. I ended up paying the fee because I really needed to see a dentist. BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY EVER!! I saw the dentist for about 1 minute. He tells me to save my one broken tooth I will need a root canal and crown in two teeth. My insurance doesn't cover those procedures. They wrote me up an estimate for almost $6,000. Long story short, I went and got a second opinion. I do not need a root canal or a crown in any of my teeth. A filling will fix the broken tooth. Their office manager told me for the past 6 years they have been struggling. I can absolutely see why now. read more

I'm going to give them a zero star. So when there with a broken tooth was going to have it pulled. Unfortunately they were unable to get my mouth numb in order to pull it. So before the service they charged me for the x-ray totally fine since I know it needed to be done. Then before they attempted to pulled the tooth they charged me for that service also. So at this point since my mouth didnt get numb to pull it I was charged for service I wasnt able to get done. This was on december 3rd. So I get My care credit statement and there is the charge for the x-ray and tooth extraction. So I called on the december 20th for a refund on the tooth extraction since I didnt recieve the service and she said they would have to make a request to have the refund done through their omaha Nebraska corporate office and should take about a month. One month later no refund still so I called back in and they told me they would request it again and expedite it. 1 month later still no refund so I call once again and she said she will request again with a emergency attached. Still no refund. So at this point if the month isnt refunded by Thursday February 27th since we are going on almost 3 months since the service was attempted I have no other option then to take them to small claims court. They are so fast to take it but wont give it back. dont recommend this place to a single person read more

I came here after suffering extreme pain in one of my molars for a few days. It was Sunday and this was one of the only places open so out of shear lack of options i stopped in. The staff was very friendly and I was greeted with an appropriate amount of paperwork. After 45 minutes of waiting with absolutely nobody coming in and going out I began to wonder if they were having a birthday party in the back or something over 1 hour later they took me back into their exam room and began a serious of tests to find out which tooth was the problem. They told me it was the very back tooth on the top right side. They said it would be about $2,300 for the root canal, build up, and crow. I called my husband and he told me that he would call his friend who goes to school at University of Washington Dentistry to seek a second opinion. His friend told him he could see me the very next day and so I should just hold off on the operation, especially since UW would charge about 1/2 price. After I told the dentist I would be going to UW she told me they don't except any patients from snohomish county so it would be pointless and I should just get the procedure done now. I thought that sounded pretty bizarre especially since my husband just spoke to his friend and he said it would be fine. I left that office with a bad taste in my mouth feeling like they tried to pressure me into getting care there. Then to make matters worse when I went to next day to have my teeth checked out by a resident endodontist at UW, they told me that it wasn't the back tooth that needed a root canal but the one right in front of it!!!! REALLY?!?!?!?! So what you're trying to say is the dentist at Emergency Dental Care would have given me a $2,300 procedure on the wrong tooth??? I'm sure there are great dentists here, I just didn't have a good experience. Maybe I got the one bad one. read more

I was allowed to go in the room with him and Dr. Greenhalgh kept a smile on our faces at all times. That night as I tried to relax the swelling & pain got worse..I called first thing next day & BEGGED FOR SOMETHING FOR THE PAIN.... I was told doc said either add 500mg.of Tylenol to meds(I have enough common sense to have already tried that,did nothing)OR GO SPEND $1000.00 for an EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT to get powerfrul antibniotiocs intravenoius...They DON"T GIVE A F&%K that I could barely afford to see them in the first place as long as their butts are protected from any possible problems... Broke a tooth and came to see them the next day. They were very friendly and worked with this dentist-phobic patient. Ended up with a root canal, build up, and crown on the molar I broke which took two visits to finish (and a third for the permanent crown). Be prepared to wait a bit - they are an emergency dentist and sometimes bigger emergencies than yours arise, as was the case when I went in for the first time on a Friday night and when I had a scheduled appointment on a Sunday. So take a book or enjoy their selection of Canadian Reader's Digest magazines while you wait. read more

Just returned home from our first visit to this wonderful place! My husband was in excruciating pain most of the night and into the afternoon and I finally searched the web and found this wonderful place!! The receptionist, Gail, was compassionate and caring and Dr. Uhde was very gentle and kind. I would recommend this wonderful group of people to anyone in need of emergency dental care! Dr Uhde helped my husband get through the day after diagnosing him for major care that has to be done by our regular dentist because they are not in our insurances network. This place needs to seriously reorganize their customer service practices. Dont call to verify the apt... then dont tell us until 5 min after waiting that oh opps they dont actually have the replacement tooth.... dont even know when they will, but we can reschedule and then call before the next apt to be sure they have it... and this is after they broke the other mouth piece i had in, but they dont fix the things from other dental offices even if they agree they broke it... so im paying full price to drive back and forth, do my own reception job be calling to verify my apt and that they have my tooth before i drive out again. And im out the tooth they broke off my retainer and get to pay to have that replaced somewhere else... Really.... im sorry but how is this customer service... this is what im paying for... I had no choice but to come here for lack of insurance but hopefully my experience will help someone else not get screwed over. read more

My six year old chipped a filling and needed to be seen on a Saturday evening. We called Everett Emergency Dental and were scheduled an appointment within two hours. My son is horrible about going to his children's specialty dentist so I was worried about bringing him here, but as soon he got in the chair, the dental assistant told him exactly what she was going to do and he sat there and listened! The dentist came in and quickly shaved down the broken filling and we were out of there within one hour only spending $60! I am amazed at the quality care we recieved! read more

I was seen memorial day weekend 2019 in Tacoma, WA. I needed a root canal. They couldn't verify my insurance due to it being a holiday weekend and required payment upfront. So I paid because I was in a ton of pain. They told me once my insurance was verified I would be issued a refund check. My insurance paid on June 22nd 2019 and I'm still waiting for my refund in the middle of September. When I asked for the corporate office number, they gave me the number for the practice office in Omaha, NE. That office wouldn't give me the corporate number. STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!
