He always takes the time to make sure I'm comfortable, especially when I'm feeling anxious, and he walks me through every procedure in a way that's easy to understand. His patience, kindness, and ability to explain things clearly have made a huge difference in my dental experience. I trust his advice completely. Having moved recently, so was looking for a new dentist. Worst dental experience I have ever had. I had confirmed my records had been forwarded, hygienist kept insisting they didn't have any record. Finally, I had to go to front desk and they said he was looking in wrong place. Told him I prefer to limit x-ray exposure. "Only a few would be taken" 17 x-rays and 2 x 360 degree because he screwed up the first one. Then 2 procedures recommended which a second opinion said were unnecessary. All that combined with scheduling error and wrong insurance plan billed. I suggest avoiding this practice. read more

I was scheduled in the Millcreek office, the night before my appointment I had a reaction to some medication that I take. it is affecting my vision and walk without assistance, I had already fallen once. when i called to reschedule, I was told if it wasn't cold or flu, it would fall under needing 48 hours notice. when I asked if she was wanting me to put my life and everybod on I-5 in jeopardy she hung up on me. read more

I have been going to All Smiles for a few years now The staff is friendly and understanding of my, sometimes over dramatic, fear of hitting sensitive teeth. Dr Steinhubel has been awesome for my Invisalign journey and Dr Vuong has always made sure I am comfortable when working around sensitive areas. I had a visit for a service I was told may or may not be covered by insurance. Bonnie stated that sometimes insurance covers it and they would bill for it. At the time of Service I signed a financial agreement for $1100 and expected to pay that that day. Upon leaving my appointment after receiving the treatment, I was actually charged about $1200. They had made an error on the financial agreement that I had signed by not charging for one of the teeth that had treatment. I understand that mistakes can be made and I paid the $1200. I did call back and they did put a credit towards my account for that because it was their error. However, after receiving my explanation of benefits from my insurance, it appears that that service that was completed early June was indeed fully covered by my insurance and my patient responsibility was only $67. I have now contacted the office for a return three times and spoke to Sarah and Jennifer stating they would call me back and issue a refund to no avail. I'm hoping to hear back and get a firm date for a resolution to this. It truly is a shame because the hygienist and the dentist Michelle were excellent, but I have had nothing but frustration and struggles with the front office staff. They are very kind in their interactions but could be better about following up with patients, especially over a four figure amount. I absolutely understand that medical billing can take some time to get an answer and get a check issued, and that they have to operate a business with a profit margin, however it's disappointing at best to feel like just a paycheck instead of being invested in patients physical and financial health with the implicit trust they hold as a healthcare provider. read more

Careless sloppy cleaning and dental work! Took about 12-14 times for dumb doctor to shape the permanent crown, In and out install inside the mouth. In a lot of pain during the shaping of the crown. Temporary crown was set too high and whole jaw was hurting for whole week. went to see them and careless doctor said it's probably your crown too high and I'll lower it. Dental care has always been a terrifying experience for. me. I started really taking care of things about 6 years ago. After a previous dentist left a sour taste in my mouth, I decided to seek out a new office. When I talked to Dr. Michelle, I felt really engaged. She is kind and communicative and I just feel pretty good when I'm there. From the front desk all the way through to the great hygienists (Shoutout Ella and Katie!!) I feel like my financial concerns, my aesthetic concerns as well as the health of my mouth are all taken into account. Apparently, there's a 'write a review, get a chance to win a Sonicare' contest. So, I would have yelped anyway... eventually, but let's speed it up. Here goes... I think All Smiles NW is pretty darn good. Their biggest asset is their effort to make a good first impression. When you go in, they have chapstick at the front desk, which comes in handy when slapped on prior to your lips being stretched all over the place. They also have little bottles of water for you. While I am against the waste created by this offering, the intention behind it is good. Further, their hospitality is great -- the front desk staff are friendly, the hygienist I had and dentist who came is was friendly. As for the service itself, my cleaning went well. I will say we did a very thorough cleaning but forgot the final portion -- polishing and varnish. I will give a call and schedule that in the future. Further, there was a little insurance discrepancy; something was submitted with the wrong billing code (and a request for prior authorization on something is delayed). This happens all the time in general with health and dental, but of course it's preferable that it doesn't -- so I don't get asked for money I don't owe, and so I don't have to carve out time for phone calls that add little value to my life. But, hey, c'est la vie. I made the call, All Smiles NW is resubmitting for the bill (and for the prior authorization), and life is good. Bottom line: Great customer service. Good cleaning. Add a little more attention to billing and they can up their star rating in my book. read more

I have a fraught relationship with the dentist, but I had a great experience here. I recently moved so switched to this place and cleaning. The building is a bit old but unique, but there is nothing lacking in their equipment and services. The hygienist was very helpful and understanding about my anxiety being there so they explained everything to me as we went along. My previous dentist told me I needed a night guard and to use a waterpik, but here they explained to me why and what may be next for my teeth if I don't start using them. The dentist was there briefly but they were nice and informative. read more

I called to check when my next appointment was and lucky I did since it was coming up next week! When I asked to reschedule since I now have an infant daughter and need to make it work with my husband's schedule, the receptionist couldn't find anything in the next few months. When I asked to keep the appointment I already had she let me know I'd have to come in for 2 different appointments since the person who could do one of the procedures was out on medical leave. I think they should have let me know. I doubt I would have found out before my scheduled appointment next week. VERY inconvenient with an infant child & didn't seem overly helpful. There are plenty of other good dentists in the area - I'll be finding a new one that cares a little more about their patient's time. read more

Whenever I need a filing or dental work they break down the cost and show me what I would pay out of pocket which is so helpful. I have been seeing Dr. Michelle and Hygienist Shannon at All Smiles NW for just over two years now. I would say that I spend quite a bit more time at the dentist than your average person. From having poor dental care as a child, and calcium issues, my teeth need all the TLC they can get. The front desk girls, Brie and Katie, are the most friendly humans you will ever meet. I genuinely look forward to receiving their appointment reminder calls (which I get often for all of the recent work I have had done) and they are always cheerful and easy to talk to. I always feel like a priority here. To this day, after what I can only estimate to be at least 60 appointments in the last 24 months, have never EVER waited for the dentist for more than 5 minutes. They truly respect my time, and I love that! Dr. Michelle has spent so much time in the last 2 years helping me reach my dental goals, from general hygiene to cosmetic changes, she has been there each step. Most recently, I reached the end of my Invisalign treatment. Before All Smiles NW, I lived in Tacoma and have been seeing the same dentist since I was a kid. I was even driving from Everett to Tacoma! But the second I walked into All Smiles NW, everyone was so friendly and very caring. Every time I come, they remember who I am! I am writing a review because I wanted to share my recent experience. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They take a lot of steps to ensure you're comfortable, especially if you have a fear of going to the dentist. They even offered me a blanket! Plus they take most insurance. Dr.Oh is awesome. He pulled my wisdom teeth. He was very quick and made the process very easy. I had a concern about an infection, but had jury duty to work around. Dr.Oh was courteous enough to wait for me to get out of jury duty to take a look at my mouth. Beware worst service ever. Big time rip off. Went for a regular cleaning visit with no insurance. I paid $650 upfront. They did work on 2 quadrants. A week later I received a bill for an additional $600. I did not go back for a second visit. I will be contacting the Attorney General. read more

I've always been super skeptical about dentists. I always felt like my insurance and money was being taken advantage of in the past with the care I've received. I came to All Smiles based on their review, after leaving a 3 star dentist, with quite the task: I lost my crown on my bottom molar (that was done by my previous dentist) along with what was left with my tooth at the point. Now, maybe that's not too terrible, but let me remind you I'm 9 months pregnant in addition to all of that - so time was not of the essence for me! Even with all of that baggage, All Smiles was able to get me in, did tons of dental work to not on replace the crown, but also the tooth, and managed to do so in a timely manner while minding my comfort. They were so diligent and attentive to my care that they consistently asked if I needed anything to be more comfortable, made adjustments in their schedules to meet my needs, and even scheduled appointments for me for the work that needed to be outsourced without me asking for it. On top of all of that, I got a phone call from them today checking in on the progress and comfort of my new crown to make sure everything was tiptop. You would seriously be doing yourself a disservice by not going and seeing them for your dental care - both preventive and beyond. stars to you all at All Smiles!!! read more

I walked in for my first appt and they knew who I was. They were so friendly and helpful. During my appt every employee came and introduced themselves. They offered a neck roll and blanket to stay comfortable. Their equipment is super high tech. I didn't even have to leave my chair for x rays or for the doctor to explain everything to me in detail. I am having my boyfriend switch offices ASAP. They came up with a treatment plan and even offer same day crowns now. All the girls I had worked with were so sweet and professional! Receptionist we're incredibly helpful and nice. They remembered my name from the phone calls we had, so that was very personable and I liked it! It was my first time at this dentist office, and I got a nice tour of it :) The assistant who helped me was SO sweet! She is going to help me work on my dental implants, where as my last dentist wouldn't even consider helping me :( when I left my appointment, I called my dad and was crying I was so happy I found a dentist office who could help me! ALL SMILES NORTHWEST is the best dental office I've ever been to. The staff is amazing and so friendly. The waiting area is so cozy with pleasant lit candles & cold water bottles. My favorite chapstick when you check in . My dental hygienist today was so great, I've never had someone talk me thru everything she was doing & hand me a mirror so she could show me and teach me the proper way to floss. She took her time with cleaning my teeth and asking me questions before about any issues I've had, taking notes. My dentist does great work he checked out the tooth that was bothering me and wanted to rule out everything so did a mouth/gum check and we came to the conclusion that the bonding on my filing has started to debond. This will be re filled at no charge since it happened within 2 years of it being done. read more
