The office is warm and inviting, with a video game waiting area, bottled water, and usually some kind of raffle or swag. He also has a "greenie" reward system, where individuals can collect fake money for taking care of their teeth and redeem it later for different prizes. I did a couple brackets with a rubber band and finished my first round of Invisalign in about three years. Went to college and got off my routine for a while, but Dr. Pellegrini was right there to help me fix it, and offered me a no-interest payment plan. He always walked me through my options and asked for my opinions on them, making sure I was comfortable with what was happening. I have a missing tooth due to not having an adult tooth to come in after the baby tooth fell out, which led to my teeth moving and becoming uncentered. The waiting room was over crowded and we barely had anywhere to stand. While examining my daughter the Dr. asked my daughter directly if she had started her period. I noticed that Dr. Katz doesn't even have a medical degree and had no business asking or needing this information. She then stated that it's really important to start her treatment now because she will stop growing soon. There is no way this is accurate. She is 11 years old. The Dr. also told us she will need 2 baby teeth extracted by her regular dentist even though her dentist doesn't agree. The dentist left the office w/out explaining the reason behind this, leaving her assistant to explain. The assistant also told us that the braces will help with grinding, which made no sense. During that time, I transferred my kids through two orthodontist offices and accidentally exhausted all ortho benefits with insurance. I didn't realize that until I tried to get one of my kiddos a quote to continue ortho care back in WA. Back in WA, I got quotes from Lund and Borne orthodontics in Lake Stevens. Borne ortho wanted $2000!!!! to just remove braces and put on retainers. Lund ortho tricked us into an appointment and would not give us a quote once there for removal of braces/retainer even though their office is where we started and they quoted about $6700 for his braces to begin with, which I paid in full alongside insurance to avoid monthly charges. I felt super hopeless. I came across Dr George on google reviews and gave his office a call. Right away, the receptionist was so very kind. I didn't even share with her my prior bad experiences. She set up a free appointment and consultation with Dr. George. The Everett office was very clean and full of teens and patients. It has a very relaxed waiting room that is comfortable. The lady checking us in was super sweet. The lady photographing my child's teeth clearly has experience with teens!!! I was super impressed. The uniforms they wear are very professional. They clean the stations after every patient. Parents are MORE than welcome to accompany their kiddo, which is great because some places make you feel terrible for wanting to accompany your kiddo. Dr. George was so curious as to our back story so I shared and he was more than empathetic. I seriously thought all WA orthos were arrogant and out for the money based on my experience with orthos in Lake Stevens, so I was so blown away by how amazing Dr George is. He's a people person. He really cares about your circumstances. I literally was emotional with tears when he was more than reasonable with his quote to remove my kiddos braces and get him into a retainer. It literally was like God answered a prayer. We came back the next week for braces removal and then a few days later for retainer fitting. We have had several issues with follow-up and communication at this office. My son was supposed to…read morereceive a new retainer at his April 2025 appointment, but it was never given to us. He has been using the same retainer for over a year and a half, and it is now cracked despite proper care. When I called about replacing it, I was told we had already received one (we hadn't) and that we would need to pay $300. Only after I went in person and asked to speak with the technician did they confirm the truth -- the order never went through last year due to a misunderstanding. Even then, instead of apologizing, the front desk told me they would give us a replacement "for free this time," even though it was clearly their mistake. We've also had previous visits where they forgot to give us last couple of Invisaligns and insisted they had. I'm sharing this so other parents know to double-check everything during their visits. The quality of care is fine, but the office communication and follow-through need major improvement.
