Surprised and blown away that we didn't find Dr George and team sooner! We moved in and out of Washington for my work over the course of two years. During that time, I transferred my kids through two orthodontist offices and accidentally exhausted all ortho benefits with insurance. I didn't realize that until I tried to get one of my kiddos a quote to continue ortho care back in WA. Back in WA, I got quotes from Lund and Borne orthodontics in Lake Stevens. Borne ortho wanted $2000!!!! to just remove braces and put on retainers. Lund ortho tricked us into an appointment and would not give us a quote once there for removal of braces/retainer even though their office is where we started and they quoted about $6700 for his braces to begin with, which I paid in full alongside insurance to avoid monthly charges. I felt super hopeless. I came across Dr George on google reviews and gave his office a call. Right away, the receptionist was so very kind. I didn't even share with her my prior bad experiences. She set up a free appointment and consultation with Dr. George. The Everett office was very clean and full of teens and patients. It has a very relaxed waiting room that is comfortable. The lady checking us in was super sweet. The lady photographing my child's teeth clearly has experience with teens!!! I was super impressed. The uniforms they wear are very professional. They clean the stations after every patient. Parents are MORE than welcome to accompany their kiddo, which is great because some places make you feel terrible for wanting to accompany your kiddo. Dr. George was so curious as to our back story so I shared and he was more than empathetic. I seriously thought all WA orthos were arrogant and out for the money based on my experience with orthos in Lake Stevens, so I was so blown away by how amazing Dr George is. He's a people person. He really cares about your circumstances. I literally was emotional with tears when he was more than reasonable with his quote to remove my kiddos braces and get him into a retainer. It literally was like God answered a prayer. We came back the next week for braces removal and then a few days later for retainer fitting. Staff were super kind and very thorough with educating my teen on how to wear his new retainers. I feel very blessed to have come across this office. If we have any ortho needs ever again, Dr. George is hands down the best and where we will be at!!! Highly recommend for so many reasons including excellent customer service. I would stay clear of this orthodontist. He worked on my girl. Needless to say, he doesn't hold true to what he says he will do. She had to have teeth pulled and then braces. He said he was going to get her teeth to move and all will be well. Then 4 years later he couldn't move them told us he would make a plastic guard with fake teeth until she is 21 to get implants. Well 22 is here and her mouth is such a disaster from him. She has to have 2 more teeth pulled, the braces on for another 2 years and then implants. I would definitely stay away from this guy and his office. Btw his staff are jerks too. read more

Dr george and his staff are amazing! They go above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable! They explain each procedure to him including the taste of the glue etc. I don't have one bad thing to say about them at all I've been going there for about 2 years! Doctor George and his staff are a class act. The brand new facility is beautifully modern, meticulously kept and so conveniently located for my family's appointments. At almost 40 years old, I bit the bullet and got braces. The staff took the extra time to make sure that I was comfortable and confident about my decision. I only wish I had done it sooner! As an adult, my straight teeth give me confidence about my appearance that words cannot describe. Now, both of my kids age: 15 and age 13 have undergone, or are now undergoing treatment. I would not recommend George Orthodontics I was at the office several times when the staff was telling at callers and being rude and it was loud enough to hear personal business being discussed. About a year into my daughter's treatment I was treated the same way when I called to discuss incorrect amounts withdrawn from my account. I was told for about 8 days someone would call about it when the person called she was rude and even abusive. After this incident they told me my daughter would be getting her braces off early. I asked why they said treatment was done but she still had over jet and room to move teeth back and still in cross bite. Not at all happy with the result and paid over 5,000.00 for the braces and treatment. read more

Please think twice before using Doctor George Orthodontics. IMy daughter had her braces put on by doctor George and all seemed to be going okay. I called with a billin concern question at least 3 times they had taken extra money from m account by mistake. The first two times it happened I was patient. I changed the account so they could not draw off my family account and only kept a minimum in the new accoubt to pay the regular bill. So the third time I called I explained to the young lady that an extra monthly payment had been taken from my account causing an overdraft in the account fees to meand that I wanted my money ASAP and charges to be paid for by them. She said the accountant was not available and she would have her call so 2 days go by day 3 I call again, again she tells me the accountant will call. Well the young lady never bothered to mention the accountant was out of office for family emergency any of the times I called; 2 more in the 8 days total of 3 calls. So when the accounting person returned she called me and instead of addressing their mistake she said she heard I was upset about the money and then went on to say the young lady I talked to said I had upset her by being harsh. I had not been harsh with her I said I needed to have my money back and after nearly 8 days of waiting to be called I had finally been informed she was out of town. I said the only time I might have been harsh was when I said she should have told me day 1 you were out of town and then i would not have had to call back or wonder what was going on. Consequently she began yelling at me that she had a death in her family and it could not be helped and that I was rude. I said I was sorry about her family and I had not been rude to her or anyone else; but perhaps had the young lady mentioned the first or even second time i called that it might be a week or more before you called me back this could have been avoided. Plus we could have avoided me calling 3 times in 8 days; but how about letting that go and then getting me my few hundred dollars and my bank fees back. I was happy to just move on yes I eventually got annoyed at not being informed but not once did I get mad until she started threatening me. Then I got mad. She fixed the problem but before she hung up she started yelling at me again. When I said she was being inappropriate and rude and that from where she was sitting in the office I was sure patients were hearing her that she really needed to calm down and if she was not going to calm down I was going to hang up. She then screamed at me "if you hang up I will turn your entire account into collections." I said wow I have NEVER missed a payment in two years I dont know how you think you can get away with turning my account in to collections. I told her we have a contract that says I pay 250.00 a month and I have never missed a payment and she said well I will make it all due and turn you in saying you did not pay it. She said she could do what ever she wanted. I was so worried over her craziness I asked to speak to someone else or Doctor George and she refused to get anyone. Since we lived a ferry ride away I did not trust her and could not just drive there to talk to someone I decided I would go there the next day. I got a cashiers check and paid off the rest of my account about 1700.00. I did not want to deal with the craziness of a volitole person who obviously has serious issues. After that experience my daughter, who was still in braces, and I were treated poorly by staff during visits. I am sure the billing lady had either been overheard (likely) and/ or she had gossiped to everyone. Shortly after that incident the Doctor George suddenly insisted my daughter was done with her braces earlier than he expected when I said it was suppose to be 6 plus more months he said it had gone faster than he thought. So they were taken off and she was given retainers for which they initially tried to charge me for but I said it was included in 5000.00 plus charges we had paid so then they backed off on charging us but the day they gave them to my daughter they gave her a bill again I had to go home on ferry pick up contract take it in and show them it was included. The results of braces taken off to early was teeth not yet straight, cross bite no where near fixed and he left glue and white stuff all over her teeth which I had to pay another dentist to clean up. I would not only NOT recommend this office it is my very intention to make sure people know exactly the kind of staff Doctor George employs.
