The office is warm and inviting, with a video game waiting area, bottled water, and usually some kind of raffle or swag. He also has a "greenie" reward system, where individuals can collect fake money for taking care of their teeth and redeem it later for different prizes. I did a couple brackets with a rubber band and finished my first round of Invisalign in about three years. Went to college and got off my routine for a while, but Dr. Pellegrini was right there to help me fix it, and offered me a no-interest payment plan. He always walked me through my options and asked for my opinions on them, making sure I was comfortable with what was happening. I have a missing tooth due to not having an adult tooth to come in after the baby tooth fell out, which led to my teeth moving and becoming uncentered. Not only did we fix the centering, but Dr. Pellegrini cosmetically adjusted my canine to make my smile the very best it could be. I will be recommending Dr. Pellegrini to individuals of all ages!

I noticed that Dr. Katz doesn't even have a medical degree and had no business asking or needing this information. She then stated that it's really important to start her treatment now because she will stop growing soon. There is no way this is accurate. She is 11 years old. The Dr. also told us she will need 2 baby teeth extracted by her regular dentist even though her dentist doesn't agree. The dentist left the office w/out explaining the reason behind this, leaving her assistant to explain. The assistant also told us that the braces will help with grinding, which made no sense. He has been using the same retainer for over a year and a half, and it is now cracked despite proper care. When I called about replacing it, I was told we had already received one (we hadn't) and that we would need to pay $300. Only after I went in person and asked to speak with the technician did they confirm the truth -- the order never went through last year due to a misunderstanding. Even then, instead of apologizing, the front desk told me they would give us a replacement "for free this time," even though it was clearly their mistake. We've also had previous visits where they forgot to give us last couple of Invisaligns and insisted they had. I'm sharing this so other parents know to double-check everything during their visits. The quality of care is fine, but the office communication and follow-through need major improvement.

However, I would come back to Edmonds Orthodontics if I needed anything in the future, so that's a good sign! If you mention my name or review maybe I'll get some brownie points. Growing up teeth alignment wasn't a top priority with respect to the cost, but just had my Invisalign treatment completed. While I no longer had the financial constraints when I had my consultation, I appreciated their flexibility with payment plans early on. Location wise, the office is easy to access and has ample parking. The team is wonderful, everyone is so welcoming, empathetic, and friendly. Every appointment starts within 5 minutes of schedule, yes sometimes early! While there's water, coffee, and tea available for families waiting, they also offer ice cream bars as a treat after every appointment. I really don't have much criticism but they send a reminder 2 business days before appointments to accommodate a 24hr cancellation notice. Some days I'm on top of my texts and other days I'm swamped with work, so an extra reminder could be nice. Another cool thing the team could do would be to supply some retainer cleaners that they recommend so patients could try it out before committing to a larger supply. Invisalign does send a couple packets but there are other options recommended by the team and having that support to clean the first few trays (of Invisalign) would've been a nice to have.

The receptionist is warm and friendly. The doctor described thoroughly my teeth and the problems occurring with my bite and angles of my teeth, more than the previous place I had been to. It felt like this doctor cared more about describing my teeth and showing me how they could be improved instead of trying to push a sale. The day I got my braces on the doctor was so fast! It took maybe an hour to adhere my brackets, place the wire and bite blocks. They gave me a cute bundle of items that have "braces friendly" foods, floss, etc. The receptionist helped organize with my dentist at another practice the best dates for me to come in to have the wires removed so my teeth could be cleaned properly. Overall a great experience! I was recommended treatment for 20 months with standard metal braces. Because I have insurance through delta dental, I was able to get around a $700 discount. Braces are expensive so every little bit saved is a huge help! I highly recommend people go here to get a quote on braces, I have not been disappointed.
