Instead of making him feel discouraged, the team has been so patient and encouraging, finding ways to motivate and support him every step of the way. I will preface that I hadn't been to other orthodontic spots in the past and have nothing to compare to. However, I would come back to Edmonds Orthodontics if I needed anything in the future, so that's a good sign! If you mention my name or review maybe I'll get some brownie points. Growing up teeth alignment wasn't a top priority with respect to the cost, but just had my Invisalign treatment completed. While I no longer had the financial constraints when I had my consultation, I appreciated their flexibility with payment plans early on. Location wise, the office is easy to access and has ample parking. The team is wonderful, everyone is so welcoming, empathetic, and friendly. Every appointment starts within 5 minutes of schedule, yes sometimes early! While there's water, coffee, and tea available for families waiting, they also offer ice cream bars as a treat after every appointment. I really don't have much criticism but they send a reminder 2 business days before appointments to accommodate a 24hr cancellation notice. Some days I'm on top of my texts and other days I'm swamped with work, so an extra reminder could be nice. Another cool thing the team could do would be to supply some retainer cleaners that they recommend so patients could try it out before committing to a larger supply. Invisalign does send a couple packets but there are other options recommended by the team and having that support to clean the first few trays (of Invisalign) would've been a nice to have. read more

After going to a different orthodontics place to get a quote (which I felt was kind of high) I decided to try out Edmonds Orthodontics. The waiting room for the office is bright and cozy. The receptionist is warm and friendly. The doctor described thoroughly my teeth and the problems occurring with my bite and angles of my teeth, more than the previous place I had been to. It felt like this doctor cared more about describing my teeth and showing me how they could be improved instead of trying to push a sale. The day I got my braces on the doctor was so fast! It took maybe an hour to adhere my brackets, place the wire and bite blocks. They gave me a cute bundle of items that have "braces friendly" foods, floss, etc. The receptionist helped organize with my dentist at another practice the best dates for me to come in to have the wires removed so my teeth could be cleaned properly. Overall a great experience! I was recommended treatment for 20 months with standard metal braces. Because I have insurance through delta dental, I was able to get around a $700 discount. Braces are expensive so every little bit saved is a huge help! I highly recommend people go here to get a quote on braces, I have not been disappointed. read more

Edmonds orthodontics is the only place I would ever consider to get orthodontic treatment. Dr. Kim and Dr. Ohara are both so amazing and they go out of their way to make sure I understand the treatment plan. I am currently in month 7 out of my 18 month treatment plan for Invisalign. My results are already looking so good! I scan on an app every two weeks and the doctor messages me on there, which is really nice because I got really busy with work and traveling so I don't have to come into the office each week. I have not experienced any pain at all with my aligners, but anytime I have a question they're always so quick to getting back to me. I am so glad that I decided to get my orthodontic treatment here because I had a first opinion at another orthodontic office where they were not as thorough and actually more expensive. Edmonds Orthodontist is a great place to get the best dental work you could ask for. When I first walked in the office about a year and a half ago I could feel the professionalism immediately. Over the course of getting my braces adjusted every other month, Edmonds Orthodontist was always on time and quick with my appointments. The Dr's were top notch on every level, to getting a perfect smile. The front desk was so kind and would coordinate and make adjustments to my needs every time. And the amazing staff was so polite. When our daughter needed braces a few years ago, we got a recommendation to come here. Like the great parents we are, we needed to check them out first right? So we got there and there's like coffee available in the lobby. A Keurig with a variety of K-Cups to choose from... very nice. Upon closer inspection there's also an assortment of water and bubbly drinks free for your enjoyment. I recommend the grapefruit - its refreshing. We can have bottled water anytime, live a little will ya? Just when I was getting my parched-ness taken care of, I was so rudely interrupted by the nicest receptionist saying that they were ready for us... I convinced them I needed to take my beverage with me and they let me can you believe it? The consultation was informative - my kid had some whack front rabbit teeth that was confirmed by professionals. I knew that, but now it was official. I missed my calling. Anyway, after many photos taken of her aforementioned whack teeth that may have prevented any future dating opportunities and that cute lisp that it created, we were sure this was the place to be. Dr's Ohara and Kim were so nice, thorough and patient - and so great to expose an impressionable pre-teen girl to some pretty awesome role models (not joking here - they are sooo awesome - like 5 gold star awesome). To make a long story longer, the couple year process was simply terrific. We made many friends there along the way and my beautiful little girl with the whack teeth and cute lisp just got her braces off yesterday and they have helped her morph into a beautiful teenager with perfect teeth that has the confidence of someone who doesn't have whack teeth. Man, they were whack... Like seriously for real whack. I almost forgot to tell you - they also have lots of ice cream in the lobby to choose from. These folks are stellar with my son Rob. Coming up from CA; we knew that his braces would be a challenge and he has always been particular when working with doctors. We had an issue where one of his cement connectors got lose on the tooth and this obviously bothered the boy. The office had just closed and they reopened for emergency time to address this promptly. You have probably driven by this place and never noticed it. It's an inconspicuous building a block up from the Starbucks. Parking is adequate and clean accessibility is good, easy to navigate in and out. The orthodontics office is on the 2nd floor.. The building itself is in good shape, the inside is clean... Dare I say, almost welcoming. Here's where it blows me away...you walk in to this office and you see an information board... Welcoming new patients, acknowledging milestones and birthdays.. It's a personal touch that tickled me pink.. To the right is a children's area with a game console a TV and some seats, the waiting room is adequate, clean, bright, so far so good! Then Elizabeth welcomes us. OMG. She was so enthusiastic and personable she was very patient and knowledgeable. We didn't wait long.. Maybe 10 mins. (we were early).. Elizabeth took my husband my daughter and I to the treatment area and gave us a dime store tour (it's an ortho office.. Not the Taj Mahal).. She explained every single thing she did before she did it and as she was doing it... She was gentle and she put all of us at ease. Mostly me because I'm a big sissy when it comes to my babies...she showed us the photos she took and why she was taking them..she did all this while we were waiting on Dr Kim...
