Office experience: I have been a long-time patient of Dr. Berry and have always had positive experiences with him and all the dental hygienists who work in his office. They have consistently been professional, friendly, and respectful, and I have never had any issues -- until recently. Last July, I received a call from a staff member named Jamie (I'm unsure of the spelling) while I was on my way to an appointment. She spoke to me in a loud and condescending tone, accusing me of being late multiple times. I was surprised by this, as it seemed unusual for a dental office to keep such a record, but I chose not to let her rudeness affect me and went ahead to my appointment and booked my next appointment. Today, I had an appointment scheduled for 4:00 p.m. I live about 11 minutes away and left my home at 3:45 p.m. While driving on Bothell-Everett Highway in heavy rain, traffic slowed significantly. As I reached the light to turn into the office complex,around 4:06 p.m. I received another call from Jamie. She again spoke in a harsh and disrespectful tone, informing me that my appointment was canceled because I had supposedly been late to nine previous appointments. I explained that I was just on the traffic light turning into the building, but she continued to speak to me in a very dismissive and rude manner, and cancelled my appointment. As a paying patient, I found her behavior completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I felt disrespected and spoken to in a way no patient should experience. It is especially disappointing because I have always appreciated Dr. Berry's care and the professionalism of his staff. Unfortunately, my interactions with Jamie have been the complete opposite, and I can't help but feel that I was treated differently, possibly because I am African and speak with an accent. I am writing to share my experience in the hope that this matter is addressed appropriately. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of circumstances. No one should be spoken to in such a demeaning manner read more

I've been a customer of Progressive since we moved to Mill Creek in 2014 and kept coming even when we moved to N Everett. While they can be more costly than other providers, I continued to come because the assistants and Dr. Skibel were always personable and friendly. Those in the office related to billing were always very kind and helpful as well. I never had any issues rescheduling when in a pinch until today and it was enough to make up my mind to move on to a closer location. I tried to call on Friday as well but didn't realize they close at two and there was no option to leave a message. The woman on the phone today first mentioned a charge for rescheduling was possible and when asked if for certain, she said it was up to the doctor. Being that my husband isn't able to get off of work in time today and I'm home alone with an infant and toddler, I had no choice but asked for a confirmation on the charge to reschedule for the next appt (that she said is 3 months away). She said it was up to the doctor and when I said I'd like to know for sure because if I'm charged to reschedule or cancel I'll just choose to cancel. She then decided to repeat herself multiple times like I was too dumb to understand and spoke over me with a negative tone. I reiterated I have no choice as I won't bring two kids in for a cleaning and confirmed the cancellation when she was done repeating herself further. In the past I've only experienced the most pleasant and understanding staff. I've had to reschedule before under 48 hours with no issues. I understand there are policies in place but she was inconsistent in throwing said policy around and just plain rude. Nice knowing you Progressive. read more

I'd give this dentist 10 stars if I could. Everyone-- the doctors, dental hygienists, the front desk staff-- were all incredibly kind and beyond accommodating. The new office is stunning and clean, and all in all my experience was wonderful. NEVER thought I'd say that about a dentist appointment LOL. They also squeezed me in when my tooth broke, did X Rays, and then the next morning completed a crown and filling. AMAZING. No waiting at all!! From the front end team that was fun welcoming and informative to my hygienist (Domonique) that did a great job explaining everything to me and she made is very fun and comfortable. If you need to go to the dentist just go here. You won't regret it. I hate going to the dentist. Like I feel sick to my stomach when I even think about a cleaning, however I have been going here for almost one year and it's the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. For one, they offer nitrous to help ease your anxiety during your procedure. I had never had it before and let me tell you, I think I dozed off for a minute while I was getting a crown! Who falls asleep at the dentist? Lol The hygienists are so so sweet and Dr. Skibiel is great! They are all very gentle and explain everything they are doing. I just had a crown replaced from a previous dentist that I went to in Mill Creek. The crown should have lasted longer than it did but I have no doubt that the one that Dr. Skibiel just did will be just fine for a long time. So thankful I found this place so I can have more peace of mind when I need to go in. read more

Dr Berry is terrific! My entire family are patients in his clinic and he's been with us since my youngest son was in 1st grade, through braces and sealants as the boys were teens and most recently a porcelain crown after a root canal for me. His entire team from his pleasant and reassuring front office staff, thorough dental hygienists and even his billing team are super! Their office will see you the same day if you have an emergency and send friendly reminder cards and texts for routine dental visits. There are dentists on just about every block in Bothell--this place is an example of excellence and service in dentistry. Give em a call! read more

I love this place. It's probably weird to say that about a dentist office, but the people here are so nice. I see Dr.Hayre, and he is great. I really like his assistant, Angie. Something about her is just super comforting, which was especially helpful when I had a small panic attack before my filling. My husband had to have a temporary crown put on, and Dr.Hayre even called himself that night to check up on him. So nice! We drive all the way from Beacon Hill to this place in Mill Creek, that alone should tell you how great they are. Also, they offer nitrous for free. Ooooooh yeah! read more

What do you do when you break a tooth, and you are not in your home state? My husband broke his molar while visiting family - we didn't think finding a dentist was going to be a big deal... HA HA! We called 5 - count them FIVE dentists to get him into some kind of emergency care. The conversations went as such ..."Are you an established patient?" "No, we are visiting from out of state...I used to be a patient though" "Sorry we can only take established patients..." click. Uh what?? One office asked if he was in pain .. YES!! ... "Oh, butyou'renotanestablishedpatientsorrywecanthelpyou" click. Our last hail Mary was checking Yelp - where we found Progressive Dental Group. I can't tell you what a relief it was to talk to someone who actually cared about helping us out. Top notch service and professionalism from the first phone call, the front desk.. all the way to the dentist! They were very kind and so helpful... my husband was able to get in that day. They did a great job fixing his tooth! We are sad we don't live in that state to have them be our dental team. I have seen Dr. Hayre (previously at Wildwood Dental) for many years and have had nothing but incredibly positive experiences with him and his staff. The new Progressive Dental Group has already incorporated many new technologies including digital x-rays (viewable with the doctor's right in your room on the flat screen tv's that also are connected to cable to use for viewing during your procedure). They also have the new crown machine that allows you to go in for a crown and leave with the permanent one in your mouth during the same visit (no more messing with temporary that are sensative and pop off). I would recommend them to any people looking for an outstanding dental staff in an incredibly beautfiul facility (lodge like) with high end technology equipment. read more

Amazing dental office and staff!  We recently decided to change dental offices in our area and found Progressive through the positive reviews on Facebook.  THEY DID NOT LET US DOWN!  This office is beautiful and you feel comfortable the moment you arrive.  The front desk staff is attentive and knowledgeable but the real gem of this office is their dental hygienists.    Megan was AMAZING!  She gave me a tour of the office and also explained everything to me as she was progressing through my cleaning (this made my inner-control-freak very happy). Dr. Hayre was awesome and also explained any areas of concern and what their game plan was.  100% recommend to anyone in the Mill Creek or surrounding areas! read more

Let's face it. No one likes to go to the dentist. With Progressive Dental, however, I don't mind so much. When my crown fell out, they fit me in a half hour later, did a full check up, and had me in for work a week later, as well as a cleaning. The hygienists are friendly, the dentist I see - Dr. Hayre - is kind and most of all, honest. They are thoughtful and considerate of your time and problems. I had extreme difficulty with another crown, and they fit me in each time for adjustments with no question. It's also the best root canal I've had, and that's saying sonething. I'm glad we found this place - I can't recommend it enough! read more

I have a LOT of experience with dentists. As a kid I had dental issues so when I moved many years ago to the north end and needed a new clinic, I actually called 1-800-dentist and these folks popped up in the search. I went in and saw Dr. Ranjiv Hayre at what was then Wildwood Dental and he's been my dentist ever since. Since they created Progressive Group, their service and care has gotten even better! The entire staff and customer care process is just plain golden! Others have said this in these reviews but...I actually LIKE going to the dentist here! Dr Hayre has a great attitude and is not only skilled but always takes time to tell me what all the potential elements of each procedure may be. He offers good preventative solutions and ideas, along with an easy going manner. Sooner or later I suppose he will retire and I'm not looking forward to that! read more

After many procedures, I can actually relay that I was always made comfortable and any discomfort was alleviated immediately. My cleanings are a breeze and never uncomfortable. I've never been a fan of the dentist. In searching for a new dentist we were referred to Progressive Dental. My first impression upon walking into their office was immediately great. The office staff are friendly and the office is definitely "progressive"!. Dr. Berry, Jessica and the other technicians did everything you could think of to alleviate my fears and then proceeded to perform without a flaw. They were exceptional in every way and went above and beyond what I would ever expect to make me feel comfortable. Dominique was excellent in her assistance with the financial aspect. Every time I come in for a cleaning or whatever the case may be, I always end up generally having a great experience. Dr. Barry is superb and truly a cut above. He engages with his patients on such a friendly and caring level. Barry deserves more recognition for the amazing work he does! The dental techs are more often than not amazing as well. A few of them are outstanding but I don't have either of the two woman's names unfortunately. Their work here is very thorough and they make sure to check all the boxes that's for sure. If you end up going here, I highly suggest the beautiful and comfortable facility as well as DR BARRY! He's truly THE BEST, and I've seen several other dentists prior. Went here last week. I found this dentist not from reviews but calling every dentist in the area that took my insurance. I chose this dentist because they will give gas to help you relax at no charge. I have very sensitive gums not to mention the fact that I'm used to feeling pain during most procedures. This office feels that they want their clients to be comfortable. Kudos! What a great experience. Even though things were different due to Covid, they were kind, clean, caring, concerning. I've been going to Dr. Skibiel for several years. I started with this practice after a particularly awful experience at another practice. Dr. Skibiel and his staff have been exceptionally kind and gentle and understanding of my anxiety. I remember leaving after my first appointment, which was for a cleaning. I told the receptionist I hadn't known it was possible to get a cleaning and not bleed. The last time I was seen, I had broken a molar. I got in quickly and had a crown placed. Dr. Skibiel was generous with the local anesthetic and the assistant was generous with the nitrous and all went well. :) This new crown looks and feels just like a natural tooth and I don't think it gets any better than that. Unfortunately, when I had an emergency situation and needed dental assistance asap, I was denied.Their modern clinic and happy faces were not helpful in emergency situation. I've been coming here for 4 years. I see Dr Hayre who is always friendly but the hygienist are really the best *Mara* and that's why I keep going every 6 months! I feel like I butt heads with the scheduler/biller she can be very frosty and apathetic. It's easy to come in for cleanings but I have to talk to ONE person to schedule anything else and if I cancel because of work or money she gives me the third degree. read more

Dr. Hayre FAR exceeded my expectations. I have been to a few dentists in my lifetime and none of them have ever been able to get me completely numb. Up until yesterday, going to the dentist has been a really bad experience for me. Adding to that is the fact that I have problem teeth. They never seem to want to cooperate. I spent 4 hours in Dr. Hayre's office yesterday. I had an abscessed tooth that had a crown on it. (from previous dentist) I felt NOTHING. I was comfortable the entire time. The office is beautiful, the staff is great. I felt as if I had been coming there for years. Dr. Hayre's assistant, Angie, is amazing as well. Highly, highly, highly recommend.
