Food is some of the best in town. Great craft beer collection and appetizers to share. Crowded at busy tourist times. Bartender Cole is the best, ask for him.

Although Silver Falls Brewery is primarily and burger, fries and salad type of establishment, it does have a few surprises rolled up its sleeves. For example, there aren't many places in Silverton where diners can order étouffée, gumbo or jambalaya. Well, look no further as one of SFB's "bowl" dishes rotates between these three Cajun favorites. In addition, the menu also offers a number of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options for guests looking for something to suit their dietary needs. What I love most about Silver Falls Brewery is the many seating options. The restuarant has balcony seating, as well as an outdoor courtyard with a fair number of tables. In addition, the interior dining room has several large family-style tables that can accomodate large groups. This establishment does a fair amount of business during the spring and summer months when tourist activity is heavy, yet they somehow manage to swiftly seat, serve, and care for guests without compromising on service. The drinks are great, service comes with a smile, and I'm here for supporting local businesses that always shine brightly.

Such a fun spot after a little silver falls hike! 10/10 recommend for food and drinks. The beers are good, they also have wine and a full bar which I do appreciate at a brewery. The food was surprisingly good!! Get the nachos!!!! They put awesome nacho cheese sauce on it. We also got the onion rings (so fresh, and the grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was really cheesy and had tomato and grilled mushrooms. I like mushrooms but I would get it without next time.its just a lot going on. You order at the counter. Most of our food was fast, but I think they forgot my grilled cheese so it took a while. But they made it fresh so it was nice and hot. Definitely will be back! It's pretty small so I'm sure they're slammed in the summer.

The very refreshing Oregon Sunshine Hazy IPA from Silver Falls Brewery!

I always love marking a brewery off of my "to try" list. But as the craft brewing industry continues to shrink that factor is also contributing to my shrinking brewery list. But it feels much more satisfying, rewarding and accomplishing as it obviously would by trying a beer from a brewery that I have been wanting to try... which leads us to one of my latest brewery experiences which is Silver Falls Brewery. Steve and I had one beer from this brewery and we liked it pretty well. We got the Oregon Sunshine Hazy IPA which was a better IPA drinking session than on previous occasions. In short it was a nice, refreshing one that hit the spot nicely. The elements in the flavors to look for are citrus, a juicy quality and a hoppiness presence. This IPA despite being a hazy also was bright in flavor as well as hue. A very refreshing IPA and I am so very glad I got to try a beer from Silver Falls Brewery!

Fantastic burger and beer stop after the falls trail in the state park. Friendly small town vibe.

Two guesses, and the first will generally be the correct one

Great attitude by staff. Tasty beer. Tasty food. Casual, comfortable atmosphere. - Nice day? sit outside. - Cold/rainy/snowy? sit inside What more can you ask for? - Free beer (tomorrow) OK, I counted at least 85 characters in the brewery (or at least in my review). We'll be back when we're in Silverton (which is planned for July)

Silver Falls Brewery - August 24, 2025 We came in on a Sunday afternoon. They are dog friendly on the outdoor patio, which has fairly ample shade. The service was very friendly. The bartender let me try a couple of ciders for my wife and gave me a 13 ounce pour of the Lookout IPA they had on tap. They also have wine. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating has a nice vibe as does the outdoor seating. I got a four pack of IPAs for $14 which is a very good deal I think.

Menu

The beer is really good, although I thought $20 was pretty pricey for a flight. Blue cheese chopped salad needed a bit more chopping but otherwise really good. Overall this place has the combination of good beer and food that's not always easy to find.

This place is super dog friendly which is awesome you order online from QR code and they bring it out to you. Website is super user friendly though and it's easy to order more food or refills and pay your tab. Food was good but the ambiance outside was the highlight. Lots of outdoor seating options from small to big tables and sun to shade. Will be back!

Great little place to come to for a bite to eat and wash it down with their house brewed beer. Located in the heart of Silverton, a quaint little town in Oregon, near the falls. Offer outdoor and indoor seating. I had a Classic Cheeseburger (gluten-free bun), side salad, with a Light Work Lager. Perfect combination on this summer afternoon. The burger was juicy, flavourful and delicious! Messy but yummy. You will need lots of napkins! The only turn off were the cucumbers on my salad. They didn't taste very fresh and had some "yellowed" patches. Otherwise, great meal and refreshing, crisp, light glass of cold lager. Prices are a bit steep but burgers are delicious. Friendly staff and great vibe.

A vibe! Was pleasantly surprised by this brewery in Silverton. Great place to stop after hiking in silver falls state park. Good food and beer options and they have a full bar as well! Will be going back! Also staff were super friendly and prompt.

Great, fast service with fresh meals. The one street over location keeps the main st traffic no use at bay and did I mentioned they are dog friendly? Great place!

Everything was great. We had Burger, BLTA ( avocado ) and a Philly Cheesesteak. Beer and a Marionberry whiskey lemonade was terrific.

This was a return visit that was much overdue. If you don't know about the Benedictine Brewery and…read moreyou love artfully hand crafted beer? You need to become acquainted. The monks of the Mount Angel Benedictine Abbey are practicing a centuries old tradition... As part of their daily observation of life, they brew beer. Let me tell you it is absolutely outstanding. The grounds are breathtaking, on a little hillside outside of Mount Angel, just under an hour south Portland. I highly recommend that you take one of the more scenic drives instead of just blasting down I-5, but you do you. It's not a restaurant per se. But there are snacks. And there is a large selection of beer. My partner and I already knew that we had no idea what we wanted because we want everything and that would make driving home extremely difficult. So we opted for the only logical choice: the sampler Their sampler boards come with either four or five slots, and they provide a 4 ounce pour into the sampler glass. We each got a five spot board, and two additional drinking glasses so that we could pour splits, and were thus able to sample 10 of the brews on tap. We also decided that snacks were in order so we got the spinach, artichoke dip, times two. You order at the counter and when your order is prepared, you are called and can pick it up. It's a very simple set up, harkening back to a simpler time in many ways. Some of the taps vary seasonally. Some of them are occasionally just out. I can't tell you what you're going to find. But I can tell you if the Hairshirt, the Half Cloak, and the Little Tyrant are on tap? You definitely want to sample those. This is not typical mid-grade Portland IPA... These are exceptional brews across a variety of styles Highly recommended! I go down every time I get a chance and suggest that you might want to consider that as well

It looks a bit small but it's very filling. Husband likes to get the bangers and mash and loves it. The service has been good and friendly every time we've gone and they are extremely dog-friendly. We took our two boys there a few times who aren't used to dining out in public like that. They weren't disruptive (we'd have taken them home and had our stuff to go if they hadn't behaved well) but we let the servers know they weren't dogs who were familiar with being taken out to a dining place and the servers were very accommodating of even making the dogs comfortable and brought out a water dish they kept topped off. Really above and beyond. Could not recommend this place more.

They had a decent beer selection. After deciding what we wanted, I went to the counter to order Scotch Eggs and the Great British Fish and Chips. I was informed that they didn't have any Scotch Eggs. I went back and talked with my wife, and we decided on a pie and I went back to the counter where I was informed that they had no pies. Annoyed, I went back to talk with my wife, and we ordered some sort of bites of which there was a meat option and a vegetarian option. We went with the meat option for all three. After we ordered and we were enjoying our beers, our server came over and said they only had two bites left of meat, so we were forced to have one vegetarian option. I will say both options tasted great! The fish and chips were finally served; it looked great with a crispy batter and perfectly fried fries. The fries tasted great. When we went to have the fish, the batter fell off the fish. Clearly that was a problem, which is too bad because it seemed like it was cooked perfectly. The batter wasn't greasy and the fish was clearly fresh. But we had to eat the batter separately from the fish. It was apparent that the fish was wet when they applied the batter. This is too bad because the fish tasted great and the batter tasted great, but the batter fell right off the fish. This is one of their signature dishes. This was a Monday and clearly they weren't prepared to be open. With no Scotch Eggs, no pies, etc it was disappointing. Our server didn't seem to care that they didn't have most of their menu available. I was excited about this place, but sadly they failed with not having everything on their menu and not being able to correctly prepare their Great British Fish and Chips. Maybe it was an off day, but I don't think we'll be going back.

But when I heard Matt Spenner was going to be the brew master, excitement crept in. Because if anyone should be able to make good beer, it would be a Spenner. (This is generations of research manifesting itself here, folks). I was not disappointed. To start with, they have some funky names: Citra Lee Ale (named after Matt's wife Crystal, who's a brew mistress (is that even a term?) with Matt), Eukanot Do That on Television IPA (pretty awesome name considering the stuff on TV nowadays), and my favorite to drink, the Schmokin Porter. Their selection is limited, but they have guest beers (and wines), and they'll be coming up with new stuff so stay tuned. The place is open and airy and comfortable. No TVs or one arm bandits here, so you're gonna have to socialize, which is a good thing in my book. Add a dose of country music in the background, and voila, you're soaking in a cool vibe and sucking down some yummy suds. If you want grub, there's a food truck around when you need it. Plus, with the bay doors open, it's like you're chillin' in your bud's new backyard brewery, which is uber cool.

The Beer: my feeling on it is "clean" - the unifying theme is forward flavors that are balanced. I did not try their smoked lager, as I was unknowing and stuck in the IPA vein, but will next time, now that trust has been established. From their offerings, you get the sense that they know what they aiming to provide, and they deliver. As an example , being at Pelican brewing yesterday, the contrast of brewing approach is super apparent. Foreland to me, seems focused in fitting their seamless brews almost like a swath of a specific unifying hues in a painting. They could be, the clean cut and unifying hues of the water in The Sea at Les Saintes. Each it's own color, but representing a bigger picture. They fit well and don't over, or, underwhelm. As a newer establishment, it's a great place to start conversations as the vibe is pretty open, and the outdoor area gives the ability to move around and not feel confined. Foreland fits well with the cast of brewing characters of McMinnville, safely. I look forward to visiting to grab a can to go and sit and enjoy- it's that kinda friendly influx vibe. Wear a mask though, I got called on that, but fully understand policy and their guy was very respectful in that ask, provided the mask too. In and out, fun. My recommendation at a marketer- Music, something more than just the "brew chill" playlist that Raised by Wolves catalyzes every weekend with Johnathan Wilson and friends letting the Sonos lull the atmosphere towards indifference. It would be great to see someone take a chance to develop attention toward waiting for a next song, instead of wondering when the Spotify is going to reconnect to the Sonos to play Khruangbin effortlessly. Not like there is a thing wrong with Khruangbin, or 80s, or 90's, or sitting listen to those manicured for the sitting masses playlists. But if my future is to only hear Stevie Nicks dip into landslide while sipping beer forever...I will resist that narrative. Interesting and forward thinking music would set this atmosphere apart, and definitely make me show up more:) cheers!
