My coworker requested a well-done burger, while I ordered a regular burger along with a bowl of tomato basil soup and a house salad. Approximately 30 minutes passed before our meals arrived. When the food was served, we discovered that the burgers had been prepared incorrectly. My coworker's burger was cooked medium-rare instead of well-done, and we ultimately had to swap burgers to correct the issue. Additionally, another table that was seated after us was served, finished their meal, and left the restaurant before we received our food, which added to our frustration with the overall dining experience. I had lunch earlier last week with other coworkers and the service was way better and that was a party of 12. Which made me come back.

The bun for the kids cheeseburger was so soft and fresh, and the burger itself was delicious and perfectly cooked/well seasoned. The tots of course are yummy and great with ketchup or ranch; nice and crispy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. The Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese sauce was awesome.. nice and soft, the cheese was delicious. I enjoyed it so much I'm ordering it for DoorDash again; about once a week I ordered DoorDash because I don't feel like cooking - this is becoming my new fave.

Raw Cider Company is a new cidery discovery for Steve and myself. It was fun turning over an…read moreuntried stone whenever it involves a cidery or a brewery. For this cidery we got a nice, dry cider. A type of cider that Steve and I prefer most of the time over the very sweet ones. The name of this cider was Cat La Roux Perlant. This cider as most good apple based ciders should have has apple involved in it as well as a tartness, an astringentness and a dry finish. Like a many coders it is light bodied which in most cases is what we always prefer when it comes to ciders. There are other cider options from this cidery that look quite promising for delivering a good quality product so that is something to look forward to whenever the opportunity arises again to have more cider from Raw.

I would not say it put me into five star orbit but I am a snob with rating things on Yelp. Despite that the experience with this beer was solid and enjoyable enough. For the flavor profile in this beer look for a naturally sweet flavor and a presence of honey. The beer is smooth in body and is nice and light bodied. It was a fun beer to try no doubt and it was nice to revisit the beers of this brewery once again.

My wife and I saw a two-piece band setting up for their performance through the window, and decided to pop in for a glass (or two) and some live entertainment. We were warmly welcomed into this classy (seeminly family run) little space, ordered a chardonnay (I didn't catch the name), Rose of Tempranillo (which my wife liked so much, she ordered one for herself afterward), and the Gewurstraminer (which ended up being my favorite). All the while, we were engaged and entertained by the two members of the band, who were amused by our toddler's sons utter fascination with them and their music. Big thanks to both of them, and the owners of Pinot Vista, for allowing and taking pleasure in our son's wanderings and exploration! He was enraptured! Such a relaxing environment, couple with some wonderful wine, beautiful music, and spending time with family without any responsibilities or expectations, is the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening, and I can't imagine many better places in McMinnville than here at Pinot Vista!
