Went to take my car in the other day, and got some exterior work done. However, when I picked up my car money had been stolen from my center console. In order to see my money someone would have to open my center console and look through my things to see the money because it was on the very bottom. Very sad to see how disgraceful people still act. Had my car repaired by Silva's about a month ago from a hit and run. This was my first involvement with them. I have to say they did a great job on fixing the damage and the car was pretty much done when they said it would be done. Where I am totally disappointment, grease all over my light colored visors, inside windshield and ceiling controls (interior lights, moonroof...). They lost the key to my wheels but they did find another that I could use. A large chunk of rubber was somehow ripped off the weatherstrip inside my driver side door. When I brought this to the attention of the owner, Tony, he told me that his people could not have done any of this and that I probably never noticed the missing chunk of rubber. I do not work with grease and it is impossible that it was brought to them like that, they received a clean car. Also I am the only person who washes my car by hand, that said, I always open the doors and wash the door jams and panels inside the door. If that chunk of rubber was missing prior to the layover in the body shop I would have noticed it. I get in the car and drive everyday, I would have noticed. Being told I probably didn't notice was totally absurd. I was not looking for anything from the body shop but I wanted this experience to be known. So, my chat with the owner was a big disappointment! Lastly, my car was hit again and I contacted them to do the repairs. I found out pretty quickly that the insurance company removed them from their list of preferred body shops. I called Silva's twice and I was told by Steven, both times, that he would straighten that out with the insurance company, because he knew somebody there, and would call me back. Well, its been over a month and have heard nothing from them. If this is the way customers are treated I couldn't in good conscience use their services again. read more

bought my car in for a back bumper repair through Geico. My car was kept there for three weeks through a couple of torrential rain periods. after the third week I was told that my car would not start. after assessment I was told that the fuel pump was damaged due to the C pillars being clogged and flooding the floor of my bmw and causing the damage of the fuel pump. my problem with this is that it all seemed suspect because there was no prior evidence of a leak or car trouble. so in the end the co. was able to collect 1600 dollars from me and 2000 fromGeico. Not a happy customer . The not knowing for absolute sure is what was killing me. read more

Took 5 weeks to repair rear gate. I had to keep calling them. Two weeks later, my gate would not lock. Took two weeks to get a new lock and again I had to call them. Had my car for a day but didn't resolve the problem. Had to go to a different Geico repair shop. read more

I just stopped in on a recommendation for a friend (air conditioner problems). I was asked if I could leave the car but since I was unable I was asked to return at 2. I do so and was helped precisely at 2. I knew it was going to cost 2 arms and 3 legs but it's fixed and to be honest I wonder if auto companies fully charge systems with the new gas because I was freezing with the thing on 2. It never worked that well before. Hope it holds up. Sucks car companies pass something like that on to the customer after lying so much in the first place for a car. If anyone needs to have body work done to your car Silva's is an absolute must. Everyone treated my wife and I with respect and professionalism. The work on our car was incredible, looks like nothing ever happened. Also we received our car back WASHED!!! Not just any kind of wash they went as far as putting Armor All on the tires. We were driven to Enterprise for a rental and were able to leave the rental car with Silva's to be returned. Meeting the folks at Silva's because my car was hit wasn't the best way to meet but I'm certainly glad we did. Any future body work will certainly go to Silva's. read more

My car was keyed so I came here through my claim with Geico. The process was so easy! I pulled my car in, walked into the office and was greeted with a smile and a "We've been expecting you," they had my paperwork ready, I showed them the damage, and the rental car company was already there with my rental car. As a young woman who has very little experience with these types of things I was a little nervous, but Stephen and the other receptionist were so patient with all of my questions. My elderly mother's car was damaged by falling branches in a recent storm. She was unsure what to do and I was out of state so I selected Silva Auto Body based on their reviews. They took GREAT care of her - helping her get a rental, then doing the work, even cleaning the car for her. The owner, Tony, treated her like family. My mother (who is not easy to please) raved about Tony and his insurance person, Jo Jo, who was also very nice to her. When she got it back she called me and said her car was "cleaner than when she first bought it." Naturally she was very happy with the bodywork as well. I had a fender-bender a few weeks ago while going to inter my husband's ashes at Ferncliff Cemetery and, needless to say, it was very upsetting. Geico recommended Silva's Auto Body in Elmsford, NY and I am so grateful they did. I have never been so pleased with the service I received from the shop, and, in particular from Stephen Pitz. Mr. Pitz kept me advised every step of the way during the repair. He assisted me with the Enterprise car rental and made a difficult situation so much more easier for me. I appreciated his attention to detail. It's unfortunate but in this day and age, service seems to have taken a backseat and is a thing of the past; so, it was a real pleasure to receive such personal and professional service from Silva's. Always courteous, professional, and they stand behind their work! They repaired our car after an accident back in October 2020 but recently the car was alerting us to an issue with power steering. I called Silva's and was able to drop it off same day. Although no errors were coming up when they ran it through the computer, their team went through the steering gear manually and were able to locate the issue and make adjustment. 24 hours turnaround time, amazing! read more

These guys are the real deal. My cars entire passenger side, from the front grille to the rear fender was a mess after being hit. I originally was going to take it to my friends Autobody when my dad, another very satisfied customer, told me to stop and goto Silva's. Jojo, Gerard and Tony run a fantastic business. I have used Silva's three times in the past year and each time I've been there I am more impressed with their excellent service and very reasonable rates. They repaired my front bumper each time and did so quickly and at an unexpectedly low rate. The first time, they had to replace my bumper as an SUV backed into me. The next time, part of my bumper came loose as a result of catching it on a cement parking block. They repaired it in an hour. The last time, my bumper came off again due to catching it on a cement parking block. I have a BMW so clearly they can handle foreign cars. I also met Jojo, who works at Silva's Auto Body. She was exceptionally nice and very helpful. She even called the insurance company and guided me in the right direction. These guys were great! They came highly recommended by my local Porsche shop; I used them to repair a small scrape on one front corner, the side and a crushed corner on my bumper cover. They dealt with my insurance company to revise their estimates and the paint work looks great. I'm very picky and the blends are not noticeable on my 6 year old car with light metallic paint. I'd previously used another shop that was nearer to me and was not happy with their paint application. Silva's is great! read more

We took our 2013 CRV to Silva's after an accident tore up its front end. We would never have known about them except they were the body shop approved and recommended by our insurance company, GEICO. Jojo was an absolute joy to work with from beginning to end--so kind, staying late to make sure our intake paperwork was in order and super helpful in finalizing all the necessary details once the work was done. We left the car on a Tuesday, and even with working with our insurance company, we got it back the following Friday, and holy cow, the car looks amazing! In addition to the flawless body work, they must have given it a full wash and wax job, which speaks to me about the pride they take in their work and a desire to go beyond their customers' expectations. I have no idea what a job like ours should have cost, but they must be reasonable for them to have a relationship with GEICO. I hope we never have cause to need a body shop again, but we will most certainly be taking it to Silva's if we do!! read more
