It was a $13000 job and they didn't even clean the car or wash it after job completed which took over a month to do. The trunk latch now after a year is not working properly at all and loud sometime doesn't even latch,the advisor said wasnt in the repair but you would need to pay out of pocket which is unacceptable when they replaced the entire truck lid why are they putting on the old latch .Only reason I'm writing this review now is because my father just got into a fender bender and wanted to know how clarkstown was and reminded me to never bring a car to clarkstown collision they are living off their name. read more

On 9/11/23, I was involved in an accident in my 2021 Mercedes Benz GLB 250. I filed a claim with my insurer GEICO. I was recommended three auto body shops, by Sam Natal the claims adjuster. I chose CLARKSTOWN International Collision in Nanuet. Big mistake! I was told to take my vehicle to the shop for pictures and an estimate on 9/13/23.@ 12:30 pm. After the pictures were taken, I was asked to leave my vehicle, I did not. I was advised by the claims adjuster to take my vehicle back on 9/21/23, to start repairs. I was told by the employee who took pictures on 9/13/23, the work would take approximately 6 days to complete. After 6 days passed, I would call or visit the shop to find out the status of the repairs. They would give me excuse after excuse, saying because of adjustments to the claim, needed parts and calibrations to my vehicle. After 27 days, on 10/17/23 I finally got my vehicle back. That's 19 potential repair days or communication with GEICO. They claim to be a certified Mercedes Benz repair shop. Mercedes Benz is next door, so they don't have to go far for parts! On my last communication on 10/16/23, a shop representative stated that I had car rental coverage for 30 days. DUH! I pay the premiums! I then received a call from Enterprise car rental on 10/17/23 @ 7:41 am, stating my coverage would end 10/20/23. I am not convinced in the year 2023 it would take this long to complete repairs. My vehicle could have been sent to Germany for repairs in less time! I think that "There is something rotten in state of Denmark." I have a rhetorical question, who who pays for insurance fraud? I dropped off my car and spent about 10 minutes total going over specifics with Jorge. They are extremely efficient and use technolgy to make the experience even better. During the repair process, they sent me text messages alerting me as to what stage in the process the car was in. I never had to call to check what was going on with my car. Obviously, the most import part of a body shop is the quality of the work. CIC did a great job. My car looked brand new as if I had the Audi factory do the work. Do NOT go here!!!! They are thieves!! I had an accident and went to Clarkstown International Collision because I grew up in New City and wanted to use a local business. I took my car in at about 9:30 am and they had me leave it in the parking lot . I called at 10:39 am to follow up and they told me someone would get back to me but that they didn't think they had parts to repair our car but didn't have a chance to look at it yet. I asked them to hold off on anything until I could check with my insurance. I called my insurance who advised I go somewhere else and I went back to pick up my car at about 1:00 pm and they would not give me back my car unless I paid them $497 dollars!! For nothing!! They said it was for a storage and administrative fees and for assessing the car. But nothing was done on the car and it was parked in the same spot that I left it in the same position I left it in!! They would not give me the keys until I paid these fees. They charged us $497 for absolutely nothing!! In addition, they weren't even confident they could fix the car. Approximately three years later the left tail lamp lens developed a leak , I brought the car back, and was told by the man there that they wouldn't fix it. When I said that I had been told that the repair was guaranteed for as long as I owned the car he said "I'm not going to fix that, how do I know what happened to the car in the past three years?". Words can't describe how amazing this autobody is. I googled nearby places since I'm new to the area and went to them with the insurance estimate from someone who rear-ended me. First off, my schedule is crazy. I emailed them for information, thinking I'll never get a repose- autobody's hardly email. I had an email back in minutes telling me to stop by whenever. Anette was so friendly and supportive. I knew I went to the right place. I went, they looked, ordered my bumper and would call me when it came in. Easy as ever! Enterprise is right in their building. So when they called and said the bumper was in, I was able to come right to the shop, drop my car and leave in a rental minutes later. Absolutely no hassle- just left my key with the front desk. The girls are friendly, the repair guys come out, shake your hand and talk to you and overall just an amazing experience. They said they would have it done in a day, and then called me the next morning saying they found more damage. Before I could say anything or panic, they told me they would contact my insurance about the other new part and order it. No questions asked, I didn't need to stress! I was so happy. THEN, a couple of hours later after telling me my car may not be ready until Monday (it was Friday), they call and said they were able to get the part right away, spoke to the insurance company and would be compensated the extra through them and could come pick up my car. My jaw dropped! I have NEVER had such great service as I did at this autobody. Besides the amazing service, the place is clean and updated. It feels friendly and well organized. Awards all over for service. Staff is dressed well, matching and seem to enjoy where they work. My son's car got sideswiped and the side view mirror required replacement. When the work was completed 8 days later, my husband went over to pay and later in the evening, he took my son to pick up the car. Neither the windshield wipers nor the heater fan worked, the check engine light was on. They suggested that they did nothing wrong. When I complained, the rep insulted my integrity, basically suggesting that I lied. Do not go here. Addenda to the story: We took the car to the dealer. One problem was someone forgot to plug in the heater fan. Water got into the windshield wiper motor. Now we are out an additional $650. read more

It was serious mistake that I went to Clarkstown international collision. They are very kind. But they do not have a skill for painting. I brought my auto to them for repainting two spots. Those were very small. It was easy job. But I only got more damages. They made a lot of "cratering" I never met a body shop making "cratering". That is only happened by entry level workers. They even did not repair two spots. I wonder how they got a certification from Mercedes Benz. I will ask Mercedes Benz customer center how they get a certification. And I will upload the photos at Mercedes Benz Forum and Facebook. They kindly did not charge me. Of course they also did not pay me for damages that they made. Dropped my car off last week to fix my driver side doors and mirror after someone hit and ran on me. Mind you, everything on the car worked perfectly other than the broken mirror. I picked up the car yesterday and immediately found that my windshield wipers, heat/AC, and Overdrive button all no longer worked. This morning when we brought the car back to tell them this they refused to take responsibility and insulted my mother's integrity when she said that it must have been something that they did, considering the electronics of the car worked perfectly when we first brought it in. We were forced to bring it to the dealer on our own to see what is wrong (no idea how much this will now cost to get fixed). This is absolutely atrocious customer service and completely shameful behavior by Eric (I believe he is the manager) who refuses to accept that my car broke while in his care. Got dents and scratches on both front quarter panels and front fender of my Odessey. Geico sent a check but not enough to fix. They said if I brought my car to their affiliated shops I would only have to worry about the copay. Brought my car to Clarkstown International because they are Geico affliated. Work was done timely, finish looked nice, but soon after I found out collision alarm would randomly beep. There are 2 sensors on front fender so I suspected they messed up some wiring. Asked them they said they did not touch any wire. Found that to be unbelievable but did not push the issue. Two months later battery died. Put a new battery in and it died 2 weeks later again. Brought to Honda dealer and was told there was a draw on the battery, which meant some short circuit, causing battery to discharge continuously. Would not recommend Clarkstown International Collision. High price, low workmanship/ethic. read more
