Great place to visit in Alabaster! Great beer and wine, plus extremely friendly staff!

Had a great time at Siluria Brewing! We randomly ended up going on a night where they were playing bingo. They also have other fun events including for example, a date night beer event and from what I was told, they occasionally have live bands. The atmosphere was very energetic and enjoyable. The staff were super friendly as well. I was able to get a flight of beers and must say, the Pineapple beer was super refreshing and lite...not overly sweet either. They also have ciders and wine if you're not much of a beer drinker. They also have options if you want to host an event there. Will definitely come back to visit. read more

Really cool brewery. I was excited to see they actually make their own ciders here because we are cider people. I was able to same each of the three flavors that they had prior to purchase. They had raspberry lime, pineapple, and peach mango. The pineapple was just okay but I really enjoyed the other two. Since I've been drinking a lot of peach cider lately, I decided to get a glass of the raspberry lime. Really good. They also make their own wine so I had a flight of the blueberry, blackberry, and the peach. My favorite was the peach. Blackberry was very good. The blueberry was my least favorite. They have a food truck every night so that is really nice if you want dinner. I saw they also offer a variety of snacks for the table. They seem to have quite a few events so check the calendar. We chatted a lot with 2 of the staff members, Rachel and Shay. They were super nice. Ambiance is very chill and you can bring your dog on a leash. We are excited to come back here since they offer more than just beer and I can't wait for their fall ciders!! read more

We love this place, especially the karaoke. Jill is the best karaoke host ever, and we have done a lot of karaoke over the years. She keeps it moving and fun. We are going to try the trivia too. read more

The first visit was good yesterdays however they didn't have the peach chard and when I said something yeah lets just say the service wasn't the same. Eh this place is more for my hubbie and son at this point. I like trying the food trucks and it's a place that Momo's can hang for a day. By the way they don't have the Peach chard in bottles either. I guess I got the last two ?? read more

The brewery and taproom are located in an old post office building by train tracks (I like trains and the sound of them so I had to mention it). We walked in and were immediately greeted warmly by the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was chill and fun, and because it was trivia night, it eventually turned electric and vibrant. Definitely a popular spot for the locals. The beers are well done and come in a decent variety. But, they also make their own wine and cider. How's that for fun? There's a beer garden out back with plenty of space. Come check them out. read more

We visited for a release of a new brew. We loved the atmosphere in the brewery. They were busy so it took just a few moments to get our drinks but not too long that it was a henderence. We loved the outdoor space. We definitely will return. read more

This place was great. It has a great looking patio/beer garden. Just wish it was a bit warmer so we could use it. They have a really nice beer list. Lots of options. They don't have food, but do have some bar snacks. They also had a food truck the night we were there. There is also a Galaga/Ms Pac-Man machine by the bathrooms. They had bingo the night we went which was really fun. The staff was friendly. The place was big and they had a private room you could rent. No carry cans or bottles, just growlers. read more

Alabaster, AL should be elated to finally have a hometown brewery! What a great addition to this area because there wasn't anything like it prior to SBC. I love a good brewery and this one did not disappoint! I didn't really care for the rock covered parking but that wasn't a big deal. The layout of the brewery is very open . There are tabletop , a bar and inside and outside seating available. They also have a small stage inside as well as a bigger stage outside. Beer & live music just go hand and hand! The drink menu here is impressive! There is literally something for everyone. (E.g Ciders , wine and beer ). I enjoyed their IPA as I am a huge IPA snob. It was very balanced and full of that hoppy taste that I love! I also had a pale ale, which I wasn't crazy about. It was drinkable but not something I would order again from here. I will definitely come here again when I'm in the area. Next time I plan to sample more beers. I may even try a few of their ciders. I didn't order any food from the food truck ( Hey Bebe) but their menu looked very appealing! SBC sells a few snacks in addition to the food truck being on site. I really enjoyed coming here and this brewery has been added to my rotation! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful! read more

There is usually one food truck if you are lucky. The wait staff is sweet and is a nice facility but located in an odd spot with little parking. The elderly bald trivia guy is extremely rude. Leave if he is there. read more

This is a cool local brewery across the tracks tucked in behind downtown Alabaster. It is an old garage and was little loud, and could use sound baffling on the ceiling to tone down the echo noise. We ordered a decent selection of beer. I was pressed with their Irish red ale, and would love to get it in cans if available. read more

Seems like you really like this place or you really don't like it (based on the previous reviews). I'm going to have to lean towards the really like it side of things. Staff greeted us and were friendly and willing to let us try some samples of a couple beer selections we had narrowed it down to. They seem to have all types of beer on draft, so you shouldn't have a hard time finding something that you like. They also have seasonal stuff that rotates in and out based on the time of year. We ended up going with a sour and a cider: Kettle-soured wheat ale brewed with blueberries and German hops Starts off with bold flavors of fresh raspberries on the pallet finishing with a twist of lime. Wonderfully thirst quenching! The seating space was large and they had college football playing on all the screens .... Roll Tide! They also had a food truck set up outside, so that was a bonus. read more

I visit infrequently but always enjoy the beers, the people and the atmosphere. Will be coming back.

Great beer selection with interesting rotation. IPAs, sours, wheat, lagers to name a few. Even some wine and hard cider offerings. Our favorites were the blood orange wheat and Esperanza Mexican Style lager. Interesting food truck outside we did not try. Live music several nights a week. If you are in the area it is worth a few extra miles to try their beers. read more

I love the decor of this place. The best thing is is that it's a family owned and the building used to be a post office. They have a small stage inside for live music and the loading dock for the post office is the stage for outside music. There are some chairs for watching live music but you can also bring your own. I attended a class left and just sat down on my own and a couple started talking to me. Dogs are definitely allowed! It's not loud either so it's easy to converse. The beer I got was really good pomegranate wheat beer. read more

Quite the place. I found them through Harvest Hosts. We were able to dry camp in our motor home on their property overnight. Had the opportunity to sample some of their creations. Above all, cannot say enough about the old school hometown environment where people from all ages including parents with their children who were thoroughly enjoying themselves. Even got to play bingo. Different types of entertainment on different nights. Something for everyone. We stayed with them the end of the week on July 4 week. It gave us a very refreshing break on our way to Nashville. Great job folks. Keep up what you do and nothing but wishes for your continued success. the Becks and the Overby's from Raleigh NC read more

Nice atmosphere. Friendly. Great food trucks. Good beer selection. Small enough to be cozy but big enough to handle a huge crawfish boil.

Took the family there on 1/6/22. Very nice atmosphere. My wife described it as Central Perk but with beer. Tried a 4 beer flight - Postal Pale Ale, Eleven Eleven, Cock on the Rock, and Buck Creek Stout. The Postal Pale Ale was excellent. A nice hoppy (Cascade) beer that is restrained just enough to play well with the malt. The Eleven Eleven was likewise very good. They're brothers style wise and either is a nice refreshing offering. The Cock on the Rock is a really nice ESB. A slight toasty flavor provides most of the flavor profile, and within the flight that I had, it was perfect. The Buck Creek Stout was spot on for a cold winter night. Not too dry, not too sweet. Just right with just a touch of warmth as I headed back into the cold for the trip home. Overall, the experience was laid back and relaxing. The only complaint was from the 5 year old who wanted to go home and let me know he wasn't proud of me for taking so long sampling the beers. read more

Unpleasant bartender woman ran us off because we arrived on "trivia night" (4 pm on a Saturday) and did not wish to partake in the games, only beer. They said we could sit in the beer garden in the rain?! But that the big event would not allow for two extra bodies in the mostly empty main room. We had met the owner at the Sloss Beer Fest and he seemed nice so we made a point to stop in. We will not be back. Save your $$ for Interstellar Ginger Beer down the street - very friendly and delicious!! read more

Delicious local brews, with more varieties being released fairly regularly. We really like their stout and their sour, and our kiddo particularly loves their root beer. Definitely a family-friendly (and dog-friendly!) atmosphere. They have games, sometimes popcorn, root beer and stout floats, and a newly expanded patio out back. There are food truck nights as well, but we usually go too early for the food trucks to be there yet. read more

Visited Siluria for the first time last night. Great family friendly atmosphere, killer music and the best part was the beer. Easy drinking options from a blonde to a stout and everything in between. This is the place to go for good beer. No matter your flavor profile they have something you will like. They also hold the VFW meetings are I believe are veteran owned. Amazing place, amazing people. I don't know what Erin G and Bob G are talking about. Perhaps had they endeared themselves to the wait staff, they might have gotten a friendly hello, as I do each and every time I come in. I feel that Siluria brewery is the friendliest little place this side of bham. I never go into an establishment expecting people to fall all over me like the Baptist church. It seems to me that Erin G's complaint is with the VFW and. If he brewery, let's just be honest. On a brighter note, if you want good cold beer and a friendly wait staff, you need to go to Siluria brewery. Thanks to Danny and Tammy for always having a smile of their face and a postal in their hand for me! read more

This family run brewery has a great selection of beers brewed on site. I dropped in and tried the Buck Creek Stout, it had a full smokey stout flavor without the bitterness or sitting heavy.
