All the other flavors were tasty to my palate as well. Very smooth. I really hate that this unique establishment is closing . It's really nice space ; located in an old post office in Alabaster ( I think). There's a pool table and games in a separate room. Seating also. Perhaps they should have had beer on tap for non-mead drinkers as mead is definitely an acquired taste. The staff was fun and helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to recommendations, which made the experience even better. I love that dogs were welcome. Surprisingly, the place is family friendly and kids would definitely love their root beer. I saw an adorable little girl going around helping people by collecting used Bingo sheets. She deserved a tip, haha. Oak Mountain Brewing Company is pretty spacious and would work well for events or work functions.
