All the other flavors were tasty to my palate as well. Very smooth. I really hate that this unique establishment is closing . It's really nice space ; located in an old post office in Alabaster ( I think). There's a pool table and games in a separate room. Seating also. Perhaps they should have had beer on tap for non-mead drinkers as mead is definitely an acquired taste. The staff was fun and helpful. I am sorry they are closed, but perhaps, as I said above, they would have gotten more customers if they had more variety.

They also have other fun events including for example, a date night beer event and from what I was told, they occasionally have live bands. The atmosphere was very energetic and enjoyable. The staff were super friendly as well. I was able to get a flight of beers and must say, the Pineapple beer was super refreshing and lite...not overly sweet either. They also have ciders and wine if you're not much of a beer drinker. They also have options if you want to host an event there. Will definitely come back to visit.

Surprisingly, the place is family friendly and kids would definitely love their root beer. I saw an adorable little girl going around helping people by collecting used Bingo sheets. She deserved a tip, haha. Oak Mountain Brewing Company is pretty spacious and would work well for events or work functions.
