It's a dive, it's a restaurant, it's a place to listen to live bands. Silly Al's pizza delivers great taste, good quality ingredients on their pies. Depending on the time you arrive you may have a wait. Once seated the servers greet you quickly even when the place is packed. Hostess needs to be re-trained or don't have her work on busy weekends. Super rude and seemed extremely stressed out for how busy it was. We even tried calling ahead but she wouldn't take our reservation or give us a wait time. Very dismissive over the phone and again sounded stressed out. We put our name in when we got there. She ended up giving our table that we were waiting for away. Which we were specifically told by her this table was the ONLY table they had to accommodate our group. Wouldn't combine any other tables. Had already been waiting 30-45 min. We ended up seating ourselves at 2 tables next to each other. Our waitress was great. She pretty much saved the night and was working her butt off. As a first year full-time RV, we were told we had to go to Silly Al's! It has been an institution in this little town, ever since 1987, and carries the flavor of the town quite well: very eclectic, very western very laid-back. It's also one of the two bars in town... :-) It took us a month or two, but we finally did, and it was well worth the wait! The pizza was superlative, the service was somewhat slow, but the place was jampacked, and it was even on a Tuesday night! The servers were all friendly, and the place was extremely loud! Last year the wife an I got to visit Silly Als pizza for the first time, though it was busy an full, the service, the food were a full 5 star then the cherry on top was when they served me a Whisky based bloody mary!!! However this year i was so excited to return hoping to repeat the entire performance, when i had ordered the AWARD WINNING bloody mary the bartender looked at me like i was out of my mind, stating he has worked there for quite awhile an that they NEVER had a Whisky bloody mary, as he went on an on about what bloodys are made with, after arguing with him for a period of time i remember walking away from that encounter like i had been made to feel stupid for asking. From there we took our pizza to go, an im sure it was good however with the previous encounter with the bartender it just seemed average. We wanted a quick bite to eat on the way to Glendale Arizona . I looked up Silly Al's Pizza in Quartzsite and found 4 3/4 ratings, so we decided to stop. We ordered a small Chicken Alfredo Pizza. We were delighted with the taste, the service and the quaintness of this restaurant. We sat in the bar at a high table. Samantha waited on us, she was very friendly, efficient and attentive. This was the best Pizza we have had in a long time! We highly recommend Silly Al's Pizza. Plus they had a Happy Hour and they took a dollar off of each of our beers. read more

The pizzas here are SO good & made to order. The ingredients are always fresh & crisp. We usually order the Goliath without olives. It feeds our family well & allows for leftovers the next day. The side salad of blue cheese hit the spot before we embarked on the largest pizza our family has ever ordered-The Goliath-16slices-we at all but 2! And it was huge and hearty. I absolutely love eating at Silly Al's! Their salads are fresh and crisp and loaded with cheese and olives and tomato. Then there is the home made dressings. (The blue cheese is amazing). I almost always get the meatball sandwich but the potato skins and pizzas are also delicious! It's always busy but the wait is not very long most of the time. Good pizza. Would come back again when visiting. We ordered take out on a Friday night and it was ready within 20-30mins of their 40min time-frame, so they are pushing out pizzas. We ordered the large for a family of five adults and it was two slices each. We could have easily got their "golith" size for $5+ more and been happier with more slices individually. Stopped here on the way back from Tucson to Cali and ate some good grub. The everything pizza was delicious as was the antipasto salad. Kids enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo and spaghetti. Spent one night in Quartzite and this was the only restaurant open. Walkable from multiple RV parks. Delicious pizza. Strong drinks. Large bar area with multiple TVs to watch sports. Also, there's a family-friendly dining area. Only service dogs are allowed which is lameee. They should be able to come in from the AZ heat. read more

Not many options but we were excited to try this place. Because of the crowd the night before, we decided to put in a to go order. 2 medium pizzas & breadsticks took almost 1.5 hours. The service staff & kitchen staff were obviously working their butts off to keep up but by the time I got my pizza, it wasn't hot when we got back to camp. Overall great atmosphere (if you can get a table) - live music was awesome. Highly recommend their marinara , South of the border pizza was great (just would have liked shredded cheese on top - along with more taco seasoning meat. The Hawaiian was good too.
