This location is very tranquil - a big departure from the busy street outside. The waterfall wall creates a nice sound effect that drowns out the horns and traffic. This is also the view from the foot massage area. The therapists ask your pressure level (light, medium, sports) and they provide robes if you're not dressed for the foot soak and massage afterwards. The foot massage comes with bottled water and a piece of candy. Then we made it to our massage room that included two beds and a large whirlpool tub. Fresh rose petals were everywhere creating a great ambiance. The two therapists come in and get to work. The oil they use is generous and they cover the back & front. Lastly, a 30 minute soak in the whirlpool that's cozy for 2. You also get a glass of champagne. Truly a getaway experience! Parking is free out front. The costs is comparable for 140 minutes service for two people. I would come back and recommend it for friends & lovers.

All of the organic products used at the salon are made by him so the one they used on my had a calming tea tree scent that brought out the natural sheen to my hair. Then, I was walked to a haircut chair where I enjoyed two cups of espresso (with my usual 10 packs of sugar) while the master taught me about hair. We took a picture after the wash of my hair (as displayed below) of my pre cut hair. He showed me how my hair was not flattering to my shape. Then he started the magic! After ten minutes of precisely pulling each section of hair and snipping off each strand with deep concentration, I was left with hair that fell into perfect place. The movement and natural volume that he created caught me off guard that this is really MY hair!? His team took over drying and beach curl styling my hair using the Salono hair dryer. Knowing how my hair is, I was worried that the style wouldn't hold over the weekend so I asked them if any products are going to be used. They reassured me, between the shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer will lock in the moisture and NOT using a heat protectant will help from not burning my hair. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated in the waiting area with my feet in a tub of warm water--plain water, no scents or additives. I didn't think much of it. I was given a sheet to mark my preferences: pressure level, areas to focus on, and what I did not want. I selected medium pressure, clearly marked NO stretching, and indicated focus areas on the body diagram: neck and shoulders, low back, quads, calves, and feet. I also chose the stress-relief aroma, though I never smelled any aroma during the service. Once called in, I used the restroom and was guided to a private room. The first therapist, a woman, was wonderful--attentive, good pressure, and responsive when I asked for adjustments. She started with a massage over the sheet and then added oil for my back. The first half of the service was genuinely great. Then, midway through, I heard the door open and quiet rustling. No one said anything, and I immediately felt a different pair of hands. A moment later, a male voice spoke, which surprised me because no one informed me of a therapist switch. I don't mind male therapists, but a heads-up is the bare minimum. Despite me clearly marking NO stretching, he grabbed my arms and pulled them backward while I was face down. I said "ow, please put me down." He continued stretching me in a way that felt rough and careless. When he lifted my arms, my bare chest also lifted, and he was positioned directly in front of me, which made me feel extremely exposed. When he finally put me down, I decided to just let the moment slide instead of escalating it. The rest of his portion felt rushed and inattentive--he barely addressed the areas I marked (especially neck and shoulders), mostly rustling through my hair. The foot massage was okay, but he dropped my legs down abruptly afterward. He also broke my hair clip, threw it away without asking, and didn't apologize. When I checked out, I told the front desk girl I was unsatisfied. She told me I should have spoken up during the service--except there was clearly a language barrier, and the situation made it hard to advocate for myself in the moment. I also mentioned the broken hair clip, and for that, she offered a 5% discount. Can't say I'd return. The first lady was great, though I didn't catch her name. After walking in we quickly were helped, and were the sales person was able to identify the scent that I knew of, but did not know the name. So absolutely fantastic that he knew exactly what I was talking about and exactly what I needed and was able to locate it. We ended up getting a hair mask as well as a perfume. And lucky on this day they were doing free engraving. My picture show the engraving of our names. However, you could have chosen almost anything. There was even choices as fonts and colors and sizes, etc.. Along with our purchase, we got a couple of samples as well, which was great. And everything was so nicely packaged in their cute shopping bags with the colored tissue. If I'm ever back here again, I will definitely be stopping at the store. They've always loved this brand and their products. But now I get to love it directly from them as opposed to doing it through a department store.
