There's even an app to see appointments requested, past appointments, etc. I booked myself the Lux pedicure with regular polish and the Gel-x full set with gel polish. Once my appointment was accepted I got there a few minutes early as I have gel polish on my toes already. The shop is in a cute house and is SO clean! First thing first is you have to wash your hands then pick out polish. Stefania did my pedicure and she was super sweet. She helped me find the polish I wanted and when it came to the pedicure OMG I almost fell asleep with how comfortable I was. She was fantastic. She got my nails the shape and length I wanted. My feet look and feel so so great! Onto the nails. Emily is seriously a master at this! My nails are literally perfect. I showed her what I wanted and she delivered. She also educated me on the gel-x as it was my first time getting it (I've always done acrylic). We made a plan to get my nails to be pretty and healthy and all mine over time. But I took a chance and never looked back. I see Tina each time and do not allow any other tech to do my nails. Every nail salon is going to have techs you may not prefer. My bestfriend goes here as well and prefers a totally different tech. Figure out who works best for you and stick with it. I find many people are dissatisfied with their service because they go to whatever tech is available and that tech doesn't know what they like. I love Tina as I've been seeing her for a year and she always gets me in and out quickly but doesn't rush either& it always looks perfect. I don't have to even tell her what I want anymore- she just knows. Also, I know everyone has said they are late to appointments. Every single nail salon is like this. Not saying it should be this way but they are family owned and sometimes they run behind. Be patient and don't book appointments for time where you have no leeway to wait a little. I rarely wait and when I do, they always apologize to me. I recommend this place to everyone and will continue to!

They…read moreseated me right away and while my tech started off ok, she tried to upsell gel, saying regular polish will chip in a day. I politely refused and halfway through, she told me it would be $30 instead of $25 for "extra length". I was not getting acrylics or tips-it was a basic manicure. My natural nails are nice, but certainly not long enough for a $5 up charge. I get regular manicures in Fairfield county where I live, and pay $15-20, and have NEVER been asked to pay extra for my nail length, so I was taken aback by this. She then got confrontational when I questioned it, saying the extra fee was up to me and if I wanted to cut my nails down further to avoid the extra fee, which also was ridiculous. My nails look good so far but I will never go back there after that weird experience.

I have a usual place in another town but couldn't make it there…read moreso since I'm in this area I figured I would try this place out.. while it looks like a nice place and has cool gifts that I noticed just walking by, I was disappointed in my pedicure. I will not name my nail tech, I am not writing this to bash her, today could have just been an off day, I'm just writing about my experience today. I asked for a classic pedicure and I get a gel polish, I told the nail tech I would like the nails clipped should they need it and shaped as square, she said they would be fine with just a file but then later proceeded to clip them, which looking after, was a bad call because she was right the first time, just a file would have been fine because now my short toes are too short and they were clipped at an angle and she did not clip and shape my big toe which is what I was talking about in the beginning. So I had to fix the smaller toes trying not to make them shorter than they already are now. She polished them nicely with my black color which is hard to polish but she did not reshape them after the polish was dried & I had nail polish on the skin on the side of my toe. I had to come home, reshape and file my big toe then that's when I noticed a smudge on one of my toes which can only happen when they are tacky before the UV light so that's something she did not catch as well, luckily it isn't noticeable unless looked up close. I don't know that I would return for another pedicure, but maybe will try the spa services instead. A bit pricey for what I received but makes sense for the area and it being a spa.
