Hometown bar with amazing food! We loved this newly opened bar and grill. A great location by the Folsom Outlets and US 50, the sports bar was remodeled and has an outdoor patio that is dog friendly (look for the dog bowl by the patio door). We ordered 2 drinks, burger, cauliflower bites and wings. Drinks were sooo reasonably priced and strong. Burger was homemade with the perfect amount of seasoning and huge fries cooked perfectly. Cauliflower bites and wings were generously portioned and tasty (try the habanero mango sauce). Some arcade games inside and cool memorabilia everywhere, both local and professional. The day we visited local former Folsom Bulldog WR and current Green Bay Packer TE Josiah Deguara was there signing! We will be making this a regular spot! read more

Bartenders are attentive, drinks are perfectly strong, prices are amazing (even in today's world!), food is delicious, the patio is perfect for a cool summer night (pups welcome) and the atmosphere inside is like walking into your favorite Sunday night football game. Excellent beer selection. Excellent service. Excellent layout and decorations of sports shwag. Lindsey took good care of my wife and I for a nightcap. Watched the Sac St women's game and enjoyed good company with new friends. Lots of screens to watch the game(s). Now just need to make it for lunch or dinner. I keep hearing about the burgers being . We've been able to come here a few times. The owner is insanely nice, as are the other employees we have met. Food has been delicious. Really appreciate their outdoor seating with a few games (giant Connect 4 and corn hole)--our child can safely play a game while we drink. Really enjoy this new spot! read more

Newly opened under new owner. My wife and I just had a little time to kill so went in on a Saturday afternoon and saddled up at the bar with a 1/2 dozen others. The bar tender/owner was very sociable but not to the extent that was over the top. Along with the others sitting at the bar, it was a very friendly atmosphere with everyone mixing conversation. My wife had a 7&7 and I had a Pilsner on draft. Drinks were good. Both patrons and the owner told us about the food and said the burgers were top notch. As we had dinner plans, we did not eat. If you are looking for a good "cheers" feel sports bar, this is it. A few arcade games as well for entertainment. read more

The bartender (Jennifer) was awesome; she was friendly and amazing, smells delightful and pours a mean beer. What else do you want? Also, the cheesesteak sandwich was incredible; I would definitely order it again. A friend had the salad and, well, it was a salad so whatever... What do you do to spruce up Lettuce and shit? I went to my friends place Iron Bulldog Sports Bar and Grill Sunday early evening around 6 pm. The place was empty but I loved the ambiance and nice Bar area and football was on. A older guy who called himself "Duke" came in from the patio. He did not really great me, he was dressed unprofessional like he came in from cleaning his yard and was drinking a beer behind the bar. He hardly gave me conversation and he stated he was a "partner" with the owner. I need to go back and experience the Bulldog with other bartenders for a far better experience. The restaurant gets a 5 star rating from me, but as far as "Due" goes - 0 stars. Again 5 star rating for the Iron Bulldog, zero for bartender "Duke" read more

Stopped by for a beer. So glad we did! Beer was super cold and served with a smile and a genuine "hi how are you?" Seemed like some of the customers were regulars - all were friendly. Been here a handful of times under the new ownership and it has definitely been mixed experiences. The first time was horrible and didn't know if I would go back. If it was not for location, I definitely would not have. A blonde server was very inattentive and when I told her I was done because I could not get service, she didn't return my card or close the tab. Thankfully, a dark hair gal helped me leave. This was the same night that one of the workers was drunk and dropped a ladder in a somewhat busy place. The next couple of times were much better with the gentleman with the dog was very welcoming and engaging. He introduced himself and was friendly with multiple patrons. Another was the same dark hair lady which she was very nice and engaging as appropriate. Last time I went there, back to the blonde and the guy that dropped the ladder. Horrible again! They definitely are not good for this rebranded location that has been sold multiple times the last few years. I used to go there many times over its many incarnations from Marks, Marks 2, Harry's, etc. But when I go in and the blonde gal asks to hold my card and no one else has a card being held, it is very insulting. Plus, the fruit flies were horrible which is not a good sign in winter. read more

I have visited the Iron Bulldog several times and find the atmosphere very inviting and enrgized. The food is absolutely wonderful and always cooked to your liking.
