Hao was there to greet me and he was very pleasant and easy to talk to! I test drove the car and was sold. Hao introduced me to Jason to discuss the numbers. Jason made me feel right at home. I didn't experience any pressure or tension that you often encounter at the larger dealerships. I put down a deposit and returned at the end of the week to purchase the car. The entire experience was perfect. I compared prices and the price that I was given was fair. Hao and Jason provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend them if you're in the market to purchase a quality used car. K.W.

We test drove the car, and it ran perfectly. This was the cleanest VW of this era we looked at & we looked high and low. We went into Sam's office and the whole transaction was over in a 1/2 hour.Smog, license, tax & Ret to go.`The Carfax was clean. We even saw a car we might come back for my wife too. He even lowered the price for our granddaughters first car. Thanks Sam, Dale & Mere.... WOW !! What a week, or two can make in the difference in one's perspective !!! The previous post was only two days after we took possession of the Jetta. It was ALL downhill from there !! We were very clear with Sam about needing a dependable, low maintenance vehicle for our 17-yr. old granddaughter to commute to/from school/work. We didn't know any mechanics in the East Bay, as we live in on the west side of the bay so, we waited to get back home before having the car checked out. We spent almost $ 1200.00 to fix what was wrong. I called Sam to let him know of the unexpected troubles. He offered to buy the car back for the original price but, we had already spent an additional $1200.00 and (I guess) I was still hoping he had been honest with us initially (foolish on my part, in retrospect !) and that these additional repairs would resolve any lingering 'issues' that the car had been having up to this point. He offered to refund me $ 200.00, 1/6th the cost of the repairs. It wasn't too much longer when the car developed more 'problems' and was back at the mechanics. This time he did a more thorough inspection and found numerous problems with the VW Jetta. When he put the car up on the rack to check the underside, he said it was a mess. That it looked like someone had taken the car "off-roading" as, the under- carriage was badly dented, necessitating the installation of a new axle assembly on the front passenger side (an additional $434.11) and there was an extreme oil eak, a "too-small" battery installed in the engine area (cost us an additional $175.63 to put in the correct one), a missing oil dipstick, problems with the hoses not even attached properly. The mechanic also had to replace most of the engine fluids as, he said, the wrong product had been used. Initially, we paid $3145.00 for this car and, ended up paying out over $3500.00 in mechanical bills !! And, this wasn't the end of the car's problems. My granddaughter was only able to drive this car for 6 months before the transmission went completely out !! Got estimates on replac- ing the 'tranny' and was told somewhere between 4000 and 6000 dollars !! I feel that we were taken advantage of, lied to and deceived throughout this entire ordeal. "Sam", in my opinion, is everything we all hate about "used car salesmen". And, they have that distainful reputation because of the dishonesty of the sales tactics used by such vultures. My family and I will NEVER do business again with that man, or Galaxy European !!!

The last few cars I bought were from craigslist and couldn't be happier. I loathe going to car dealerships, I especially thought these smaller lots would have even slimier car salesman. I was happy that when we arrived the car was still there and the guy (Rami?) wasn't pushy at all. He was running around helping a few other people so he didn't keep asking us questions and trying to "sell" the car. He gave us the keys for a test drive by ourselves and off we went. When we returned we had questions which he answered and even went down on the price just a bit, it was at a great price to begin with. He told us we'd need to get new tires for the car or he could drop the price a bit more and we'd get our own tires. That raised some concerns because the car is a 2006 with only 23.400 miles so why did it need new tires? Usually tires get more mileage than just 23k miles, we asked if the tires were original or switched and he couldn't answer that. I had run my own carfax before arriving (he also gave me a free one) and it had a good history plus it was serviced at the SF Honda dealership so I called them before going down. That gave me some reassurance. We settled on a price (I'd be getting the tires changed myself) and the buying process went pretty smooth and quick. A few things to make sure... * the front license plate was in the trunk so we asked them to put it on and they did. * we double checked the spare tire and it wasn't in there. they got a new one and put it in. don't assume it's in there. * i received two keys to the car but both seem to be valet keys. i didn't find this out until a week later. when i called to ask them if they had the main key or could get me a main key they said they couldn't. they have what they gave me. that's a bummer because the trunk latch in the car is locked and i can't unlock it with a valet key. to get a new Honda key is going to cost me $200. Check all the details before you leave! Overall it was a decent experience at the lot.

I was able to get the donut placed on at some point at work but still had to cross the bridge back to make it home and find shop in time to help me at least get the tire replaced in time to make it to work the next day. My brother miles away was able to call to setup an appt for me while I was driving back to the Fremont area and they were able to do a package for 4 brand new tires. When i tell you im so blessed! He made sure the rear tires came into the shop the following morning and in a timely manner got it done knowing I had to make it to work still. I would definitely recommend this shop. I also had a good feeling because when I arrived there was another customer who was leaving and was SUPER happy with their service just like myself and offered a review lol that alone let me know okay maybe this wont be a bad experience.

I initially reached out because I was looking to have some major routine maintenance done along with an overall inspection of my Land Rover. My experience started off on a great note with Sherry, who responded to my email inquiry promptly, answered my initial questions, and quickly helped get me scheduled for an appointment. Martin ended up being my main point of contact and service advisor throughout the repair. What started as routine maintenance ultimately turned into a much larger repair after their inspection uncovered several issues that needed attention. Martin did a great job walking me through what he and the team found, explaining the major concerns, and helping me understand what needed to be addressed. I never felt pressured or left in the dark, which gave me a lot of confidence in trusting them with the work. The pricing felt fair, and I especially appreciated the transparency and communication throughout the process. They also took the appropriate amount of time with my Land Rover, knowing that the amount of work involved would require the vehicle to be there for a few days. I'd much rather have a shop take their time and do the job correctly than rush through a major repair. I was so impressed with the overall experience that I ended up bringing my other Land Rover to them as well, and once again, the team took great care of me. Fremont Foreign Auto has definitely earned my trust and my future business. I'll absolutely be coming back whenever either of my vehicles needs service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and transparent shop. Special shoutout to Sherry, Martin, and Erin for all of their help and excellent customer service throughout the process. It was very much appreciated!

June 26, 2026 I called earlier this morning to see if I can come in at 5pm for a repair, nail in the tire. After work of course. The guy whom I spoke to, again friendly said he could help for sure but it would be better to make an appointment. I said I don't see the point of making an appointment since their team doesn't get to the people who have appointments on time. Had another experience for an 8am appointment and they didn't get to me for 40 minutes after Intaking people and talking for so long. He said that must have been a one off and they try to get everyone out in under an hour. I said I'll make the appointment but I don't want to wait 1.5 hrs for a repair. It's not fair to me to have to just wait. He makes an appointment at 4pm. 4pm rolls around, I'm there at 4:05pm. Traffic in Fremont is bad at that time. They didn't intake (see me) at my appoint until 4:45......... Then they look at my tires goes and talks to their team who says it'll be ready at 5:45pm. AGAIN!!!!! WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE APPOINTMENT IF YOUR NOT GOING TO HONOR THE APPOINTMENT!!!! Anyways....what their team needs to do is stop allowing customers to stand there looking at each tire on the website deciding which one they want. One guy alone helped a man and his son for 40 minutes!!!!!! What's the point of the appointment?

The location was very busy, so I went to the front desk and was told to go to the air-check area first. I asked if they could put my name on the waitlist since the line was so long, but the employee told me the air check would only take about three minutes and that the wait wouldn't be bad. I pulled up to the air-check area and was the second car in line. A technician then told me that air checks were the front desk's responsibility. After waiting another 20 minutes, the same front desk employee came outside and told me I was in the wrong spot and would now have to go to the back of the line. When I pushed back and explained that I had followed his instructions, he refused to help me, saying he couldn't because I was in the wrong spot. The frustrating part is that he was the person who told me where to go in the first place and never explained that I needed to be somewhere else. The owner of this location really needs to reassess the customer service at the front desk. I've always had great experiences with America's Tire, so this was extremely disappointing. I ended up leaving without receiving any help and drove to the Livermore location, where I was helped wonderfully. I highly recommend the Livermore location, but I would avoid this location at all costs.
