I took my car to another local repair shop I always went to and trusted, they were bought out…read morerecently. They quoted all kinds of things to fix, some I believed, some were outright lies! One lie was that the battery needed to be replaced and they would happily do that for $425, yeah, I bet you would! The problem was THEY had just replaced the battery 14 months earlier (much cheaper then) when the shop was under different ownership and it had a 4 or 5-year warranty! Immediately I was suspicious. They also said I needed a brake job, alignment, motor mounts, and a new power steering pump. The power steering pump was quoted at over $2000 total, the labor alone was quoted at about $1500! How many hours or days does this one job take to justify $1500? I am no expert, but it would seem they probably get around $150 per hour, but certainly not more than $175, so $1500 would mean 8- 10 hours! I looked up how long the job takes online for my car and found it can take about 3.5 hours, and an experienced mechanic can do it in just over an hour or two so not sure what that place is doing. After doing my own research I knew I had to go somewhere else. I knew the brakes and the power steering needed to be addressed so I called Plaza. I spoke to Justin who was extremely helpful and professional and made an appointment for the next day and dropped the car the evening before. I asked them to do the brakes and alignment after getting a quote. I also requested that, if at all possible, to have my car finished by 3 pm, they called at 2 pm and it was ready! They did the brakes and alignment for quite a bit less than the other shop quoted, checked my battery which it turns out is fine, and gave me a quote to fix the power steering that was a FULL $800 cheaper (parts and labor) than the other shop quoted and that is without the coupon online. I will be calling Plaza in a few months to do the power steering pump. I think I have found my new car repair shop!

Umm no, it won't. Went to Tire Choice down the street and started on it in 10 mins. What changed in that 30 minutes when Plaza knew I was dropping off? More profitable tire sale? Laziness? The entire team is incredibly friendly and helpful. This is truly the best business in Fairview Heights, Illinois, and it has officially become my go‑to place for all my car needs. While I was there, I overheard another customer complimenting an employee--Cody--on his great work and friendliness, which matched my own experience. Patrick and Michael helped me during my visit, and each of them showed their own unique style of kindness and professionalism. Even the gentleman at the soda machine offered me a drink. It may seem small, but it meant a lot. The staff interacts with customers the entire time, creating a welcoming and genuine atmosphere. Plaza Tire is a real asset to Fairview Heights. I told the young man that my tire was leaking based on the alert on my dashboard. He offered me a seat and went about checking the tires. He said they would find the problem and let me know. A little later he advised that my tire had a metal shard in it and they were able to fix it. I asked the cost and he said, "No charge." If they are able to fix the tire, they don't charge; they only ask that you patronize them the next time you need tires. I was escorted to my car which was delivered near the entrance and drove home completely satisfied with this encounter. What a great business model.

So they shipped,same day to Lake STL, and was cheaper than anywhere else. I came back 3 hours later and they installed the 4 tires in about 30 minutes. They cleaned/shined the tires. Ran an alignment test. -I did not need an alignment. -My old place always charged me. Place is really clean and friendly. Aiden, my sales guy, was awesome!! Super friendly and found me discounts. I'll be back with my other vehicles! Freddy's is next door. You can eat ice cream and watch them install your tires in 30 minutes. It's perfect!
