Finding honest mechanics that you can trust is like winning the lottery. The team at Coffey…read moreAutomotive is the ONLY mechanic I let touch any of my cars. They are friendly, professional and most importantly have the integrity I can trust enough to send my friends and family. They won't sell you things you don't need. They will be straight forward with their recommendations and they are always fair and act in your best interest. In return, they know that earns your business so that you come back when needed. You gotta try them and see the difference.

My father in law has taken his vehicle to Fred's in Wentzville regularly for quite a while. When I…read morebought it from him, I continued to take it to Wentzville and was always very happy with the svc I received. When I figured out they had a st charles location I was happy because it was closer to home. The car was overheating so I took it to them. The said they ran a pressure test, it was my head gasket(s), and would cost me $6000.00 to fix. I then took it to another mechanic who ran a pressure test that clearly showed it was just a water pump and it cost me under $500. So they either never ran a pressure test, and just made something up, or they have no idea what they are doing! Either way, I will NEVER give them another dime of my money.

We are a single income/one vehicle family. Jimmy has worked on our vehicle now multiple times…read more Three of those times our vehicle has had to be towed into his shop, which is a small area, yet he has always taken us on and made the room to accommodate us. He is quick on his diagnostics and quick on his repairs. He is also very reliable, true to his word, and affordable! I feel he prioritizes locals and I personally LOVE that. His diagnostics fee is $100, but if you choose to use him to do the repairs then that $100 is used toward the overall balance. All in all we've had a great experience with using Jimmy and will definitely be back in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Master's Touch in St. Peters, Missouri…read more On the Friday before the holiday, they agreed to take a look at my car as a walk-in when it started acting up. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I arrived. Zane came outside immediately, checked my oil, and then offered to run diagnostic codes on the car. He took the time to explain the report, reassured me that the car was safe to drive, and--with absolutely no pressure--simply asked whether I'd like to schedule an appointment to have it checked further or wait to see if the issue happened again. When I offered to pay, he told me there was no charge. I even tried to give him a tip to buy lunch, and he politely declined, saying the only thing he wanted was for me to tell others about the business. Service like this is incredibly rare these days. I wish I lived closer, but I'm honestly considering making the 40-minute drive to have them become my regular mechanic because trustworthy, honest shops like this are hard to find. I can't recommend Master's Touch highly enough. If you're looking for a mechanic you can truly trust, this is the place to go!

We had our Toyota towed to this ridiculously bad shop after the brakes failed. A $1600+ repair…read morelater, the brakes failed again after fewer than 15 miles. We unwisely let them try again under their one-year repair warranty. Total brakes failure again within 20 miles. They offered- laughably- to try a third time. No refund, of course. Another shop fixed our brakes with none of the problems Master's Touch told us caused the repeated failures. Meanwhile, they demanded $300 to replace our battery, asked $200 for a "hard to find" license plate mount for my kid's car ($20 on amazon), and took weeks to turn over the money they got when they sold her wrecked car for us. Do not trust these clowns or their warranty.

I wanted to add a recent review since most are 1year or more…read more I've had consistently accurate and reliable service done for my older car for over 4 years now. I recently had some costly repairs done, the prices were comparable to other places. An out of town mechanic put aftermarket alternator on my vehicle a few years ago, and unfortunately it was not compatible, and the only warranty offered was for another aftermarket part, which was unacceptable. These mechanics know what is needed and make the right decisions for your specific car. I had no other issues with the alternator, and am confident that the recent replacement part of the crankshaft and its components will be reliable as well. Our truck also gets serviced and repaired at Autotech, and no problems. A loaner was provided at no cost, and they have provided transportation when needed as well.
