He was incredibly theatrical and had a way of bringing the city's haunted history to life. His performance was captivating, and he kept our whole group on the edge of our seats with every twist and turn of the ghostly tales. He was also great at answering questions and made everyone feel like they were a part of the story, not just listening to it. In a city like Salem, where the history is just as important as the safety of the ride, these guys knew their stuff! My husband and I stayed here for a few days for my birthday, and we had a such a good time. The…read moreDaniels House was beautiful and so historic. It's like two blocks from the water and the House of Seven Gables; a few more blocks to the Witch Museum and everything else. We stayed in the Great Room, and it was amazing. There's a fireplace in the bathroom! I don't think it works, but it's still awesome. We also did the house tour, which turned out to be one of my favorite tours for the whole trip. Vijay was our guide (and also our point if contact during our stay), and he was super nice and informative. The house has a rich history, and you can tell that Vijay is really excited to share it. The tour is just the downstairs area, but it was so fascinating that it was totally worth it. When we stayed, they were still giving vouchers to Red's Sandwich Shop, which turned out to be perfect for us. We ate breakfast there most of the trip. I'm a vegetarian, and my husband can't have any dairy, and Red's had something for each of us. I'd recommend everything about the Daniels House, and we'd definitely stay here again.

And honestly I would have paid it but we were almost out of our fun money for the trip. I will probably do it next time, or honestly staying here would be really cool!
