I needed the med to control another condition. He made the sleep apnea all about my size, failing to recognize that I was diagnosed at a normal weight. I pointed all of this out to him, and prompted him to look back through my charts. The evidence was certainly there. He did, and also decided to joke around and compare my weight gain to "Apple stock." Apparently he uses motivation through humiliation. Doctors like this are garbage for your mental health. He needs to learn more about compassionate and collaborative care.

Whenever I voiced a concern about the equipment and overall process, I was either met with an attitude or was dismissed. When I went to share my experience with a manager, the manager was rude, defiant, and dismissive. I was quite shocked by my experience as I've never been treated so poorly, even while I displayed patience and a calm demeanor. I highly suggest for the public at large to avoid this establishment.

At Roseville I was a drain on resources. At Carmichael I became a human being, worthy of healthcare. Every single person I interacted with at Carmichael PMA was kind, attentive, and actively took an interest in improving my health. Everyone. The receptionist, the nurse practitioner, the doctor, the doctor's assistant, even people who weren't directly involved in my care acted like they were glad I was there. I was astonished. I have very low lung function. When Roseville diagnosed me, they wrote me off. When I walked in the door for an appointment the receptionist would look at me and sigh. When I had health issues I had to get a consensus on Facebook to diagnose me, then try to get someone at Roseville to do something about it, with varying degrees of success. The excellent care at Carmichael PMA was not an aberration. I got sick and was immediately sent to Riverside PMA, where a Carmichael PMA doctor saw me. I was treated very well. I can say nothing but good about these people.

I was nervous all day about staying somewhere overnight and with people watching me but Lana was so nice and talkative I was immediately relaxed and comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. There was blackout curtains and a fan, which made the room feel relaxing. I actually fell asleep much faster than I expected, which made the experience even better. The bathroom was clean and had a bench I could set my stuff down while I changed and got ready for bed. The facility was clean, quiet, and well organized, making it as comfortable as possible for an overnight stay. I really appreciated how kind and attentive everyone was throughout the night. I would highly recommend this sleep center to anyone needing a sleep study.

Staffed well, very thorough and professional. I love sleeping with a fan and they immediately made the accommodation. A little misleading by saying to prepare for a normal nighttime routine, because I was told I couldn't wear my AirPods or watch tv on my phone longer than 20-30min. It didn't feel like I could get comfortable how I normally do at home, but I understand. I was also asked to remove my nose ring and septum, which was not communicated on any of my phone calls. Just a thought to potentially include in preparation conversations since there is a list for prep and hygiene.
