After many many months of research and putting it off I finally called Dr. Falvey's office. From start to finish it was the best dental experience I have every had. Everyone was extremely kind, calm and patient, including the receptionist, the hygienist and Dr. Falvey. There was no judgement and lots of listening and understanding of how my phobia developed. Michelle, the hygienist was gentle, regularly checked in with me and told me I could use nitrous if needed. I never actually needed it! Dr. Falvey came up with a treatment plan that incorporated my phobia and changing my pattern of going from deep cleaning to deep cleaning. The receptionist encouraged me on the way in for having made it to the appointment and on the way out for making my next one. The first visit with x-rays was pricey but for me its worth the extra cost to actually go, have a positive experience and avoid more expensive problems later. Follow up visit prices seem pretty in-line with other dentists. If you are fearful of the dentist this is the place for you.

I called Delta Dental and was told Parker White was no longer contracted for Delta Dental PPO. His hiding that fact has already cost me to pay out of pocket for new X-rays and a deductible 4 times my usual amount. I went back to his office today to see if he had a notice posted at the front desk. He does not. Thank heavens that I found out prior to allowing him to replace my broken three unit bridge. When I finally was taken to a sleep room, the air was pungent with perfumes from cleaning and laundry products. Even the mask I was supposed to wear had been sprayed with such products. I was uncomfortable and congested most of the night from my reaction to the perfumes. I ended up unsure whether to trust the study results since my sleep was affected.
