I'm officially done with this place. I thought they were great at first. But there not , they are jerks. I've been coming here for a long time and my insurance brings me thru a ride service and the ride service got me a couple minutes late . They won't see me . They know how ill I am and that I don't have reliable transportation all I have is this lame ride service. And they turned me away. The last appointment I had the doctor called in sick . 2 times in a row. Well guess what ? Dr . Hensley you need to wear deodorant because your armpits stink! read more

Navigating the healthcare industry can be very emotionally exhausting. Stallant Health care is not perfect, but they have offered the best service I've experienced on Medicare and Medi-cal so far. I have had my issues with their keeping track of my records that I had forwarded to them. Also had issues with individuals who were stuck on auto pilot but OVERALL still, Stallant has offered a better service than I've experienced elsewhere. They will ask you if you want to pray before your appointment but if you decline, they will never bring it up again. Offering dental and medical services in one location is also nice. It is hard to get to see the hygienist as the industry struggles with a shortage in general but their work is good. Dr Gallant is a very thoughtful doctor who makes an effort to help me albeit impossible because of the insurance industry not being regulated enough and making it too difficult for cases that fall outside the norms to get any coverage on testing or specialists needed. Today I wanted to write a review because after 2 days and several hours of phone calls between insurance companies, labs and other office personnel at Stallant my PTSD had been triggered. All I wanted to do was find out if my tests were going to be covered and had been sent in frustrating circles with neither Medicare, Medi-cal nor Quest Diagnostics able to answer whether it would be covered or not. Instead of pushing me over to somebody else or saying sorry he couldn't help, he made the calls necessary while I was on hold. Mostly instead of telling me what he couldn't do he told me exactly what he could do! All too often these days Customer Service people are happy to regurgitate policies telling you what they cannot do. Nobody wants to hear what you cannot do. He didn't speak to me as if he were a robot. He treated me like a human, saw that I was in crisis and did what was needed to help me. I am very grateful for his help as I was preparing to not get the blood work since I had no idea if it was covered or not. As soon as I could tell that he really heard me and was going to help I felt relief. Having worked in the service industry for decades training and supervising I recognize who is really top-notch. Warning: Cult Activities This was the only clinic within 25 miles of me taking Medicare Part A&B pts. I scheduled an intake appt. Front desk staff are a mess. They gave multiple pieces of incorrect information and did not identify this as a prostelatizing clinic. I asked for the new pts paperwork before I went in because I have arthritis and need time to fill it out. They offer online paperwork. I downloaded it and filled it out. When I got there, they said they can't accept the packet because they never update the online stuff and handed me a new 15 page packet to fill out. The forms were identitical accept for a logo at a the top where the online one had none. They refused to accpet identical informatoin on a sheet without the logo. They implied I didn't know how to read since I said it was identical and demanded the entire thing be filled out again before I could see someone. The waiting room is filled with brochures about how Jesus can fix your life and your addictions. Each member of the medical staff team insists on praying over you before and after the appointment. I saw Dr Hasse who clearly has no experience with chronic conditions. When describing the least-severe symptoms I have with lupus and schleroderma, she clutched her pearls (literally) and gasp. She has no experience with pain management or chronic condition management. She met the informaton that I don't smoke or drink with "Thank Jesus for that good news!" She inquired about my spirituality history. When I told her I left the Evangelical church because its a cult, she was clearly upset. Her "new patient" appointments are 10-15 minutes and she requires you to book at least 3 appts over 3 weeks to complete an intake. This is a scam and a cult. Avoid. read more

I so badly want to give a 5 star review. As I've been going to medical and dental since they've opened. Everyone is so great, aside from one staff member at the front desk on the dental side. She's had an issue with me since she made my order wrong at Starbucks, and was super ignorant because I let her now it was wrong. Tonight she closed down dental before I got done. So I wasn't able to schedule an appointment for my next appointment. All because she has a grudge against me for speaking to her old boss about her unprofessional attitude. I wouldn't recommend my dog go here for treatment, let alone an actual human. The supposed "doctors" here that I encountered are extremely rude and super inefficient. I went here for 2 appointments. The first was a "Chiropractor" March 16th, 2022, and then I had a "Doctor" visit the next day March 17th, 2022. The first day I went in everything was fine until I saw the actual "Chiropractor" Dr. Hensley who kept cutting me off and talking over me anytime I had something to say like I was annoying him. He kept repeatedly bringing up the fact that I'm on Medi-Cal and not real insurance as if he was judging me or whatever, he kept saying it repeatedly. Also I told him that basically all I do is lay down because I have so much back pain and then he kept bringing that up too "Oh I guess those are the benefits of laying down all day everyday" kept saying things like that like he was judging me like I'm lazy or something...even though I'm in so much pain the only thing that makes my disc issues in my back feel better is to lay down. Then towards the end of the appointment he had me lay down for an adjustment. It was the most BS adjustment I've ever had, super quick and sloppy like he didn't even care, and then when he tried to adjust my neck, he twisted it all weird to where it hurt me. I instantly said "Ouch that hurt" and then his first reply was "Oh yeah you're really right and tense in the neck" as if he didn't just jerk my neck around in some weird way. He tries to play it off like it was just me when it was his fault. I have had many adjustments from many different chiropractors over the years. I used to go 3 times a week at another office but I have never had an adjustment like the one this jackass Dr. HENSLEY gave me. It made my head hurt afterwards. Then he tried to just play it off as if it was just my condition. NO! I did not have a headache when I went into my appointment and then as soon as he jerked my neck around now my head hurts. Clearly doesn't know what he is doing or just doesn't give a sh*t, he made that clear when he kept cutting me off and talking over me. So even after all that BS, I was still open to go back the next day and give them another chance...which turns out was the worst mistake I made, and a huge waste of time and gas money. The next day I went in for my 2nd appointment with the "Doctor" Dr. PENNER, again everything was fine until I saw the actual "doctor" who kept cutting me off and talking over me as if what I had to say disinterested him, even though we were talking about ME and MY CONDITION. I told him I have sciatica nerve pain in my lower back shooting down my left leg. His only solution WAS TO GIVE ME PILLS. He tried to prescribe me Gabapentin & Muscle Relaxers and I told him No I don't want that stuff. And after I denied taking his pills he kept sighing and breathing all heavy like it irritated him I didn't want to be all doped up on pills. So towards the end of my appointment the "doctor" was taking notes about me and asked me if I smoke or drink or do drugs. I told him multiple times loud and clear I ONLY SMOKE CANNABIS. I do NOT smoke cigarettes, I do NOT drink alcohol and I do NOT do any drugs. He asked me again maybe 3 or 4 times whether I do drugs or not as if he was implying I was lying to him. Then he said ok well we have to do a blood test. So I said ok sure that is fine. He sent the nurse in to draw my blood. The nurse stuck the needle in my arm and then I felt him take it back out while saying "Come on man" So I turned to watch what he was doing and he just kept sticking the needle in my arm and then pulling it back out. Over and over and over, he did it almost 20 times before I told him to take the needle out because I started getting light headed. He took the needle out and I almost blacked out, I started sweating really badly and felt super weak. And so even after all that he tried to ask me to do it again. I told the Nurse NO I don't trust you to put a needle in my arm and then he got all flustered because I didn't want to do it saying "Ok well you have an appointment next week but I don't even see the point in you coming to that appointment if we can't draw your blood". He says all this as if he didn't just screw up taking my blood mintues earlier. He had the nerve to try and guilt me and make me feel bad when he was the one who couldn't even stick the needle in my arm correctly. I felt so pissed off and disrespected that I just walked out of the office and left. At the end of the day they don't care about any of this. They will just exaggerate and lie to try and make it look like I'm wrong to preserve the good image of their office. They don't care about me, or you, or if we get better because they get paid the same either way. Save your precious time and find a real doctor's office who will treat you like a human instead of this place where the "doctors" are arrogant, dismissive, and clearly don't care. read more

My wife and I have been going to Stallant Health for about four years now. Every praise from my original review still stands. We have recently been discussing possible moving locations into a new place, and believe it or not, relatively-close proximity to Stallant's location is a crucial factor in our decision making process. (Sumimasen, Japan. You'll have to wait!) That is because we go one or more times per week for a two-hour treatment for depression. I was once on the treatment, and my wife still is. Not only do they offer the hard-to-find treatment, but they have catered so much of their office model to be conducive to a relaxed and effortless treatment! I had an amazing experience at Stallant (though the treatment itself by nature has mixed results) and all of my cares and concerns about the drug-that-starts-with-an-S-and-ends-in-Vato were brought up before my first administration and I was handled with utmost care and comfort. They even upgraded the patient bed to the highest quality model as well as added a futuristic chair that I've informally dubbed, "The Space Captain's Throne." ## OFFICE :: The clinic has been classy-in-style since we first started going there, but they continue to improve and improve even more. They recently began redecorating the front reception area and waiting room, and I've been told that Trey Williams is the one to give a shout out to for some of the newest style additions - great job! ## STAFF :: When you meet the dynamic-duo of Stallant, Dr. Steffens and Dr. Gallant - (see what they did there?) - you'll realize why this place is so effective, successful, well-operated, impactful, and cutting-edge. The entire staff team operates like divine machinery across the diverse spectrum of services they provide. Each member feels expertly-selected for their role. ## PARKING LOT :: Beware, the parking-lot facing the front door to the clinic can get stuffy! Just proceed with caution because I've noticed after 300+ trips there over the years that there are many tight spots and blind spots. ## GARDEN :: There is a stunningly beautiful seasonal garden just outside the front doors. It's absolutely recommended (I'd say, required) to take a few minutes and appreciate. I've been told by the grounds mgr. that there's a young-at-heart couple whom takes care of the flower varieties. You can tell they put the loving essence of their heart into the work, because it blows me away. As of writing Spring '22, there's a beautiful butterfly floral arrangement, only identifiable if you pay attention - it's to the right facing toward the front door below the steps. ## "WEIMART" STORE :: It's not attached to the clinic, but it's still bound by the heart of the vicinity / community. The market serves an impressive variety of plant-based foods - for example, dairy-free cheeses that will make you go moo. And other hidden treasures, too. ## SUMMARY I am honest and sincere in everything I write both in my professional tech & arts career and as a Yelp reviewer. There's a reason we've willingly made over 300 trips (45-min drive each way) into the lush hills of Weimar/Colfax to Stallant Health - because the encapsulating experience and resulting spirit-lift is a wondrous experience in itself. I have been going here to see Dr. Hensely for 2 years now. I was in a pretty bad car accident and I tried a couple different chiropractors before I found him. He was the only one that was able to actually help alleviate the pain. He knows exactly where the pain is without me having to say anything at all. He helped monitor my physical recovery after the accident. Dr. Hensely and his medical assistant, Hannah, are always so kind to me and my daughter when we come in. It's out if the way for sure, but it's worth the drive to see a doctor and that not only knows what he is doing, but actually cares about my recovery as well. read more

I went for an appointment and when I got there they were closed because of snow. I got stuck in the snow . Well they had sent me a pre check in on my phone about two hours before asking me to check in. No one called and let know they were not opened! So fast forward to today, I believe I have an infection. So I went in to see if a doctor could see me. Mind you it is one hour before closing and they told me I could come and be on call to see if anyone would see me. They have no patients but could or should I say would not see me. I came over twenty miles to see some one and no doctor wanted to see if could help. They just didn't feel like it. Well I believe I got sick getting stuck in the snow last time I was there! I have been far and wide to so many different dentists. I found this little secret place while in the area for work when I had a dental emergency. Now I drive 3 hours to go to this office and it's the place I bring my children. They are always so accommodating to my schedule and they always consider the fact that I travel. They are all the nicest people and the Dr's are very skilled in what they do. When you work with these dentists you really get a sense that they care about your health. I believe they really do and they love their jobs. I will probably always go here no matter how far I have to drive, it feels really good to be treated so well. If there is someone reading this that has dental anxiety hear me out; this is the office for you. They will put you at ease and take good care of you. read more

Stallant health was a good place to go in the past , I've been going to their clinic for health care for 7 years. I would not recommend anybody to go there anymore all you see on your visits is nurse practitioners. I don't know how they hire their personal many of them don't speak fluent English or know the workings of there policy's , I plan to find another practitioner after the first of the year. I've only come to this clinic twice and both times I've been greeted with a smile. The front staff are very organized and get the job done efficiently. Then second visit was a little unpleasant because a toddler was crying and wanted his mommy. His daddy(?) wouldn't let him down to walk around, and used the wrong method (IMO) to settle the little guy down. Another client tried, but was told no, so it went on for some minutes...poor little chap. Then, when the mom reappeared, the dad said something about the client who wanted to help. Then the client told the dad to F-off. Really, in the waiting room with people sitting there listening to this. The front staff should have stepped in and stopped the noise. It made my blood pressure rise, which wasn't good, because it goes on my record. Please stop that kind of ruckus from happening in the future. The medical facility isn't the place for it. What would Jesus do??? Calm the situation down or maybe even put the people involved outside until they're calm. Anyway, not a good look. But...on a brighter note, the staff there are very kind and after my visit with the Dr., a prayer was laid over me, and it calmed me and reassured me...which was a very good ending to a bad initial impression. In closing, I want to say that I'll be back because of the staff, the Doctors., and the cleanliness of this clinic. Thank you for being in Weimar, a most beautiful place to be. read more

My friend is deathly scared of needles. I took her to Stallant for her Covid vaccine. We had Rebecca and she was not only very sweet but also patient with us. When I say my friend is scared of needles I mean it. It took us 30 minutes to get her calm enough for the 5 second shot. This facility is amazing. They have the best hours ever, and their staff is kind, attentive, thorough, and patient. It threw me off at first to see the Christian literature in the rooms, or to have a doctor ask to pray before the consultation, but they were very respectful of my beliefs and there is no dogma attached to the medical care. In addition, this may be the first time I have ever encountered a practice that embraces both natural holistic care as well as more heavy duty prescriptions when appropriate. The chiropractor is awesome! However since around covid started they have been very busy and appointments have been days out so if you have a semi urgent situation that doesn't need the ER you will have trouble being seen. The front desk transfers you to the nurses station and they transfer you back to the front desk. I think it is a waste of resources to go to the ER for the flu or strep throat. Those things should be a dr visit. They have to many patients now is what it seems like. read more

I really have appreciated the care I have received at Stallant Health! My primary care provider Jeanette Alves is super sweet and always goes the extra mile. The other doctors also are always willing to help at a last minute notice. Today I was helped by Calvin Gardner, one of the medical assistants. Unprofessional, disorganized, and downright scary. Went in to get my wisdom teeth removed and they couldn't even get a proper x-ray of my teeth. The communication was horrible- they did not give me any information on pre & post-op care, and they did not even schedule enough time to get the full procedure done. They tried to tell me that they could only do one tooth at a time so I needed to come back multiple times to get all of my wisdom teeth removed... what the hell? It was one red flag after the next and I ended up cancelling my appointment while I was there. Don't waste your time and find a dentist that can actually take care of you and put you at ease! read more

About 5 or 6 months ago, these people started a root canal on my husband and have not finished. They kept him coming back every month (2hours round trip) for several months just to shove his tooth with cotton and send him on his way. My husband gets nervous at the dentist so his BP is kind of high when checked due to his nervousness. Today they decided to tell a man who is already nervous and has anxiety with panic that has to drive an hour back home that his BPs high and "Youre on the verge of a stroke, I'll pray for you." Sending my husband into panic attacks till he finally made it to the ER to be told he is fine. He was just spooked at the dentist. Also when we had called them after his appointment, to get his BP #s we were told "Oh I didn't write them on his paperwork...". 1star only because I can't give 0. read more

I have been going since 2019. I love the doctors I have had that work here. Dr. Steffens. Dr. Tiffany and Dr. Penner. Each one is smart and compassionate. Dr. Penner figured out my health issue almost immediately. I went to Kaiser Permanente for 19 years. They kept saying they thought I had MS but ruled it out with tests. After I left Kaiser Permanente I found Dr. Penner. Told him my medical history and he figured out I have Lupus. Lupus symptoms mimic MS symptoms. He ordered tests and confirmed it. Sent me to a specialist who confirmed it again. Amazing medical investigator he is. I appreciate him very much. read more

I just got a cortisone shot at another establishment and he used no cold spray and didn't inject numbing and it was the worst thing ever. You go above and beyond for your patients.
