When I arrived, I learned I had an outstanding bill I didn't know about. I was stressed, surprised, and admittedly irritated -- not at the staff, but at the situation itself. Even in that moment, the front-desk team handled everything with such patience and grace that it completely shifted the tone of the visit. They were calm, kind, and compassionate when they absolutely could have mirrored my frustration. Instead, they chose empathy. They chose understanding. They chose to treat me with dignity at a moment when I was overwhelmed -- and that meant more than I expected, especially since the bill was mine to take care of. I want to emphasize this because it matters: people always have a choice in how they treat others. These amazing women chose to elevate the situation instead of escalating it. Broke my foot. Called for an appt after I was at Emergency. They couldn't fit me in for 3 weeks, and said to come by and wait as an Urgent Care patient. I couldn't get up and down even a curb, my leg was aching even when it was elevated, and my cast was falling off. Great patient care, folks! (Yikes ) I ended up finding another PCP that could get me in within a few days of the 1st of the month. No compassion at all. Its sad that our medical care is so crappy and good care is not consistent and hard to find *sigh* As for the daily operations, without requesting it or having seen a doctor there, Vista Care sent my hubby a Cologuard box with instructions to send in a sample. Well, my hubby's proctologist previously told him that with his history, he has to get colonoscopies and that he should not rely on Cologuard! Seriously. What a waste of product, and it's now in the trash. Vista Care does not care about your health or you as a person. It's all about the number of patients they see per day and forcing products on patients whether or not they should be using it. read more

I was sent there by my employer for a Workman's comp injury I incurred at work. A YEAR later Vista care sends me a bill saying Workman's comp didn't approve it and I was responsible for the bill. Long story short, my employer paid the bill in full, sending it to the address on the bill and confirmed with the place the payment was paid that the check had cleared and we no longer need to worry about any bills Vista Care sends. Vista Care continues to HARASS ME for the bill payment. They just sent me a bill again and threatened to send me to collections. They are one screwed up organization. I plan to consult a lawyer. read more

Does not care about their patients. Worst experiences at a dr office ever. Multiple times they don't send referral or info to specialist and then I waste my time going to lab just to be told they don't have my referral. Can't get anyone on the phone when you need something. I went in with my throught so swollen I could barely swallow and was told to go home and sleep it off, ended up in the hospital that night getting an abses drained. I am a patient, for the last two years. I go in for an annual Medicare exam but asked to see a real doctor not a nurse practitioner. I got there early but never saw the doctor. After an hour and a half I had to cancel and go to work but sat there watching eight walkins be immediately taken in. While waiting they had a person attempt to do my blood pressure so she proceeded to put the sleeve (cuff) over my coat sleeve ???? She had no clue....scary!!! Looks like they are only. I can't say enough good things about Vista Complete Care. I was a walk in (funny because I could barely walk) with an injury to my right ankle. I thought I could just wait it out and it would get better on its own. After 5 days and no improvement I drove myself there and was greeted immediately by the friendly staff. I had a minimal wait and was diagnosed pretty quickly with a sprain. Left feeling much better about things. Overall an extremely positive experience. read more

Been there several times. Overall, the wait is about 50 minutes and I received a false recommendation from the doctor. Specifically, I went in for a foot condition and the x-ray technicians/docs didn't notice a fracture. The doctor told me I'd be fine in a week. A month later, my foot was still swollen and it turned out there was a fracture that the doc just "didn't see". When I called in to dispute my double bill, the billing department and medical dept were both upset with me and rude. They did answer my questions - which is good - but were short with me and antagonistic in their communication. Another big point is each time I've been there the wait is long - really long - over 50 minutes sitting in a room. And then you remind one of the staff and they come 10 minutes later. Made an appointment to see DR. DANIEL SEWELL, he told me a few years back that if I needed help with a medication to come see HIM. I asked to see Dr. Sewell 3 times, I would NOT be getting a nurse practitioner will I, NO, you will see Dr. Sewell himself, got to the waiting room in walks a nurse practioner...Where is Dr. Sewell he is not here today.....I will NO longer trust this office, lying in a medical office is not very professional and this was nothing but a lie, again I asked 3 times to see Dr Sewell, this is the 2nd time I was lied to in this office, I do not know which one of the girls at the desk lied, but, won't be back...just a heads up, lying in a medical office is not very professional, if this was NOT a lie what was it??? read more

New patient here, I am getting away asap. They are SOOO overwhelmed here too many patients too Little staff. Meds to pharmacy so messed up had to wait serveral times to be put on hold continiously. Lied to pharmacy etc etc . Got caught and still lied. Take my dvice stay away find a different group ! read more

I've been going there for about 15+ years and I have to say that the very first time I ever met Dr. Sewell was when my son had been diagnosed with stage four bone cancer. He had been going to urgent care over the three years with the same pain and no results. They never took an x-ray or an MRI. On the 12th time I met Dr Daniel Sewell. Without question, he wrote out labs, x-rays, and MRIs for my son, which concluded that he had bone cancer. He literally saved my son's life. I haven't met a doctor or a PA that I don't like. everyone is courteous, thoughtful, and professional. I highly recommend this facility. read more

Went in to have what I thought was diverticulitis. When I was diagnosed they told me I had a hernia. They order blood work and a mri scan. First they send me to the wrong lab. Then the labs messed up my bloodwork twice(not vistas fault). Four visits later I get my bloodwork done and then get my mri done. 2 days later vista calls me and says my lab work is done. I ask if I have a hernia and they don't know what I'm talking about. I CALMLY explain that is why I came in. She is clueless. So after being able to offer no explanation on what is going on with me she gets mad says a surgeon will be in touch and hangs up on me. Incompetence dosent begin to describe this place! read more

I switched to Vista recently from another provider. Service was decent however, they told me I needed to come in for a physical after I had an initial consult as a new patient and then my insurance wouldn't cover it because (apparently) the first visit had been billed a a physical. Would be nice if they had a better understanding of what each patients plan allows so patients know before a visit if it will be covered or out of pocket. read more

I would give them zero stars, if that were an option. I booked an appointment one month out, which was their soonest availability. I checked in and paid online before arriving. Upon arrival, I was informed that they were changing my appt to take place in my car. When I asked what was going on, they stated that their protocol requires them to see me outside due to my symptoms, which included a headache and upset stomach. These people do not believe in science, only "The Science," and are practicing covid fear medicine. Half of them are masked, summer 2023. They refunded my copay. On another note, I waited from Dec 15, 2022 to May 15, 2023, for them to get two MRIs approved with my insurance that were ultimately denied due to their incompetent back office staff. I felt so taken care of here! I love the attention to detail from my nurse practitioner Bailey. She spent time with me and was very attentive and thorough to my every concern and past medical history. This is the best medical care I have had in a very long time. A very safe environment! And a great location to cut the nerves of a doctors visit! read more

I've always loved this place but they've taken in WAY more patients than they can handle. It shouldn't take three months to see your physician! That makes no sense unless you know thaI counted 19 people in the waiting room at one time. Come on VC! You can do better than this. read more

Not only did they misdiagnose me for a rash, they gave me a script for meds that would have done nothing. Then they took a biopsy and messed up handling it, so I had to come back for another. Then they sent me to LabCorps for blood work, which they said to fast and due a walk in the next morning. LabCorps does not offer walk in appointments... Then I drive back to the doctor (still fasting and hungry to get a new rec for the blood work). They tell me to go to Sutter. Sutter does the blood work and then sends me a $400 bill for being out of network. Only good thing about this doctor's office is the view. read more

My family and I have used this urgent care a few times and they've always provided high quality care with excellent follow up in a timely manner. It's rare to have zero complaints about a medical practitioner, but that's the case with these guys. read more

Dr Schmidt is very thorough and easy to talk with. He answered all my questions and concerns in depth. Not your usual "rush you through" office. Also didn't push unnecessary and unrelated vaccines on me like the previous facility did. Discussed vitamins to help with one of my ailments instead. Seemed like a truly sincere down to earth family doctor. Will definitely continue to use Auburn Vista Care as my primary care place. read more

When I walked in, there were 3 receptionists and no body greeted me. I kept looking at them till I get greeted. After. a minute, a lady said hello. I sat down and two people came in, they were welcomed " welcome" "how can I help you" "How are you" I think that because I am different nationality with brown color.?!!!!! I think one of the lady who was unprofessional and almost wants to slap me, her name is Catalina. The assistants, physician assistant and the physician were both good. read more

PA Cavanese is apparently unprofessional toward elderly patients. He repeatedly spoke down to my mother during her visit. Unbelievably, he demanded that she fill out a DNR (do not resuscitate) despite the fact my mother had told him she had properly filled out an advanced directive without his help and my mother is in good health and was being seen for back pain. PA Cavenes struggled with listening to my mother and seemed to not hear what she had to say even stating "I don't have time for this". My mother went in for back pain and was treated like an ignorant child while PA Cavanese checked his phone and told my mother she could not take NSAIDS because her first LABS indicated borderline kidney disease. She's there for back pain and NSAIDS is the only thing that helps! Terrible family practice. Would give zero stars if possible. This is not how medical professionals should treat you! read more

This place is a puppy mill. Not only neglectful, but rude, unprofessional and belligerent. If you're looking for a consistent dependable and reliable health care professional- move on. not the place for you. I called in desperation to be seen about anxiety meds prescribed by Vista Care that had severe negative reactions and was not able to book a single appointment for a 5 day window. (A week out). When they did offer me a walk in with my PA- I was verbally assaulted (with incorrect facts) and told I should 'plan better' for my appointments - also told if I wanted a 'boutique medical experience' I should go elsewhere. I'm incredulous that anyone would be treated this way - particularly with a severe anxiety issue. read more

I arrived about 30 minutes before closing. The office staff kicked me out of the waiting room immediately. I had to stay in my car becuase I had Covid. Dr. Josha Cavaness saw me in my vehicle. He had excellent bedside (car side) manor. He gave me a thorough examination then prescribed anything I neeeded for congestion and pain. read more

They do not offer care or even referrals for women's health, I'm not sure why but they will not help you if you would like an abortion, they will not even discuss options for referrals, they have no resources for this so I urge young women to get healthcare elsewhere read more

Had a walk-in visit last Saturday for my 9 year-old grandson who had crashed on a scooter. He was scared, however, the staff was great, very attentive and calming to him. We were seen very quickly, and he ended up with 5 stiches to his chin. Can't say enough good things about Vista. read more

You know the receptionist from the movie OFFICE SPACE... well this is her. She just keeps answering the phone and never goes back and they have her working the phones and the people coming in. Terrible service ... slow service ... waited and waited for one of the drive up apts she put us on hold and never came back then I went inside and she was doing the same to ever call. I called went thru their automated system to lead me to the right person to talk to about my flu symptoms. Once answering all the questions and giving them all my symptoms I told them I currently am not working due to being sick and had just applied for insurance thru unemployment. They told me to drive down and call them from the parking lot. When I arrived I called and they said they never got my call and again went thru all my symptoms and required questions. After this the nurse said she had to speak to the doctor and for me to hold. When she came back in the line she explained that it would be $178 for a test right then but after that test they would do a flu test and only after that would they do a covid-19 test and each one would need to be paid for separately. Now I can understand lack of communication but this really does feel more like extortion! If they didn't accept patients with no insurance they should have told me, I dont have money to waist on file driving there and back, and I definitely do not understand why this wasn't explained over the phone prior to having me drive there. I hope they get investigated. Just seems like they are trying to take advantage of the situation. read more

Be VERY clear with your symptoms and what you're looking for when attending this facility. Went in this morning to get my husband checked out. He has been sick the last couple days and missed one day of work. We mention this to the doctor and asked if we could get him checked out to hopefully get a note to continue his healing process since his symptoms were still present and he's suppose to go back to work today and tomorrow. For some reason they kept saying "we can't back track." We weren't asking for a back track just a doctors note to excuse for today and tomorrow. We took the tests and his symptoms are still present. After getting the results back they can only excuse him for today because again they can't "back track." We didn't want to back track? Neither me or my husband used the word back track,in any way. Additionally, we are contracted through a union so we need a specific form filled out which includes a physician part to be completed. They signed it but put N/A for the dates of abscence and return for work. So if he's able to have today off shouldn't have been 9/8/23-9/8/23?That part should've been pretty simple enough to figure out, at least for a doctor/nurse, even if it's for one day. Anyways just be mindful with your words here because they will take what they think and run with it rather than actually take the time to listen and confirm with you. In the past I have had a great experience with this place by myself, until today. Very disappointed. read more

I couldn't ask for more. I had to swing in after work for a killer infection. Basically the worst customer you could have. I came in forty minutes prior to close, fresh off the job. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful to the point of giving me directions to the local Walgreens to acquire my much needed medicine. I felt like I had known the doctor since high school. The cost was low, the wait time was minimal (handed over my new patient paperwork and was called right as I sat back down), and the service provided by these women and men was excellent. Sadly I have moved too far away and are no longer within a reasonable distance of vista complete care. I have to thank the entire staff for more then 10 years of incredible treatment! This place has 'urgent care' in their title, which I am always leery of because some times urgent care facilities get really sensitive about insurances. So, before going here, I confirmed with my insurance (United Healthcare) and with Vista that they accept my insurance - as an urgent care facility. Both confirmed. The PA addressed my issue - great. Unfortunately, this place has the worst billing process - or lack thereof. They decided NOT to file a claim with United Healthcare, instead they kept sending me bills to pay out of pocket (over $200). I denied again because my insurance covered it - Vista just needed to do their job and bill the insurance co. I talked to my insurance three times and they contacted Vista (while I was on hold) asking them, begging them to bill United Healthcare. Well, there's a 90day limit to file a claim. After that, too bad. So, Vista never filed a claim instead expecting me to pay out of pocket. I didn't pay - so they sent me to collections. I refuse to be responsible for Vista's incompetence and laziness. Do your job - and bill the insurance company. Instead of just billing the insurance company, they decided to spend their time and effort on sending me multiple statements and reporting me to collections. Then, they sent me a note saying I am never allowed in their facility. First of all - I will never go there again... And, second - aren't they in the business of healing/ helping people? To tell patients to go away because Vista can't figure out how their billing process - is a total joke! read more

This company is a SCAM. Patients are better off elsewhere. Not only have they contacted me over a YEAR later to bill me for things that seemed invented -they could not explain why or how I was seen for these bills. This company is NOT about patients. It's a CORPORATION that is all about generating high revenue and profits.
