After being a member for a year and spending more than $6,000 on membership fees, lab work, and…read moretesting, I can honestly say I feel no better than I did on day one. I came in with detailed notes, extensive prior testing, and a clear history of my symptoms. At first, I was hopeful because Sanaz seemed invested in helping me. Over time, however, that changed. At nearly every appointment, my symptoms were attributed to "stress," the blanket root cause when a doctor can't figure out what is wrong with you but doesn't want to refer you to someone more knowledgeable. When progress stalled, the recommendation was often additional expensive testing. Unfortunately, those results were rarely reviewed in meaningful detail, and I often felt I could have gotten a similar summary from AI. One of the biggest frustrations was that it took about eight months to recognize that I wasn't absorbing my transdermal hormones, even though my symptoms persisted and my lab values weren't improving. That delayed a treatment change that, should have been identified much sooner. The membership model also became frustrating. You pay a monthly fee, yet appointments with the physician are typically spaced 6-12 weeks apart, making progress feel unnecessarily slow. During appointments, it often seemed like little had been reviewed beforehand. I frequently had to remind Sanaz about previous discussions, medications, and even tests she had ordered. My final appointment was especially disappointing. Once I shared that I would not be renewing my membership, the tone of the visit changed dramatically. I felt dismissed, patronized, and was told she would not consider any of the treatment options I wanted to discuss because I only had three weeks of membership remaining. When I expressed that I felt the conversation had become unprofessional, she became downright rude and snarky. I also found it concerning when she explained that she has too many patients to keep track of everyone's care. As a patient paying a premium membership fee, I expected more personalized attention. The practice markets itself as functional, patient-centered medicine, but that was not my experience. Instead, I often felt unheard, dismissed, and left paying for an expensive membership without meaningful progress. Great sales pitch to get you signed on for a year but once you're in they don't care. I don't understand how they can feel good about what they do as medical professionals, I feel sick about the hard earned money and time I wasted there and the people I referred to them. Take your money elsewhere if you want to actually feel better, this place is no better than Sutter or Kaiser.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I…read moremean this with no exaggeration whatsoever: I have never been so insulted, belittled, and infantilized by a medical practitioner in my entire life. This sorry excuse for a doctor does not give a rat's rear end about his patients, just their/their insurance companies' $$$. For my first appointment with him, which was the first time I was able to see a primary care doctor in a couple years, I needed a referral to a neurosurgeon for a very obvious spinal problem that I have from failed back surgery. Dr. Groan-felt here spends about 12 of our 15 minutes together going over my medication list (which I had gone over twice with the MA already) and then gives me the sorriest excuse of a physical "examination" I've ever seen, i.e. I got up on the table, was not even asked to remove my sweatshirt, and he listened to my heart/breathing for maybe 30 seconds, after which I was rudely dismissed. At the end of an appointment, especially for a new patient, I think most any doc would ask something along the lines of "do you have any other questions or concerns?". Dr. G? Not a chance. as soon as we hit the 15-minute mark on that appointment he handed me a lab form basically shooed me out and told me to come back in three weeks. Indignant, I asked if he was going to give me the referral to a neurosurgeon. He said we'd talk about it in three weeks, and when I pushed harder he condescendingly offered to write me an X-ray order, as if I didn't have X-rays, CTs, and two MRIs from the past year. Merely having the radiologist's reports for all of this was not enough, either, and he insisted he see the images himself before giving me the referral. What a petty, sad, miserable man to indulge in such schadenfreude. Oh, and after all that time spent going over my medications, my prescriptions never got sent in. It took six phone calls over seven days for his genius of a front office person to figure out she'd sent them to not just the wrong CVS, but one that had been closed for over a year. And the whole time she was convinced it was somehow my fault... Run far away; go see literally any other doctor.

They do everything but say "let's be friends," yet you leave your appointment feeling that they might as well have said that, too! You may meet Reena or Ian or Dr. Vaughan himself, but you will get the same feeling from all of them- professional expertise first, with a general feeling of welcome and a listening to what you have to say. I've had two visits, and am very impressed, especially having received less than pleasant experiences elsewhere. I'm sold on these amazing people.

No one let me know that I would be assigned to a new member of the team (who hasn't even started at this point). I called to have an appointment regarding something timely and was pushed out for another week and a half because of an issue with the staff. From there, they didn't even suggest the other possibilities for me to be seen sooner. I figured out ON MY OWN that I could be seen at a walk-in clinic. I needed to have some paperwork filled out but the physicians on staff cannot complete this because the person who performed my physical is no longer working there. They did try to work with me and give me an alternative but when that wouldn't work, they wanted to charge me for a second physical for the year. This is baloney, I already had a physical. It is not my fault that they are having staffing issues. I will gladfully take my medical business elsewhere. I kind of suggest you do too.

I will never change Doctors…read more The care that I get and the time they spend talking and answering all my concerns and complaints is amazing. I have had Kaiser and other HMO's and if I got 15 min with the Doctor I was lucky. When I see Doctor Hedman I get an hour to an hour and half. I could ask for better care and attention from his whole office. If your lucky enough to have Dr Lichti or Dr Brown you'll get the same great care. These are Doctors who really care.

I have chronic Lyme tick disease and she has worked with me over the years as I go through my many relapses. Quite frankly, I would be lost if I didn't have her support and expertise as I navigate my life with this disease. "Rebecca" then went on to tell my wife that they would not accept patients from "out of the network" (we are Nevada county v Placer county). This was an URGENT referral from our PRIMARY DR and they waited 5 days to tell my bedridden/surgery needing wife that she needs to go back to her primary and get another referral! My wife was crying hysterically and Rebecca hung up on her! When I called back to get her information to file an official complaint, she said it wasn't necessary and that's she "might consider asking the Doctor if he would make an exception for her" if I "stopped being upset". Ok, made an appt. Called me a day later, and said they could see me the next business day. Ok, made a 3rd appt. Showed up ON TIME this morning. They were upset I didn't have my paperwork filled out, even though they told me I could complete it upon arrival. They asked that I arrive 15 minutes early to do so. When I booked my 3rd appt, they asked if I could come at 10:15. Perhaps it was my mistake, but I assumed that was for a 10:30 appt. When I arrived, the receptionist was quite rude, and said it was "10:16" and the doctor would not see me. Are you kidding? I took the morning off of work, arranged childcare, and showed up on time to the appointment that you rescheduled 3 times in a week? Mmmmkay! My time is worth something too, people!
