I reached out to several mobile mechanics through Yelp on Thursday evening, and Jim was the only one who responded initially. He was able to schedule us for Saturday afternoon, which was critical since we were supposed to head home that day. Another shop didn't have availability until Monday and the other high rated mobile mechanic was out of town. Because of storm-related commute issues earlier in the week, Jim ended up arriving around 4pm instead of noon. Totally understandable given the conditions. He worked outside in freezing weather and never complained once. Jim was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. He was great with my wife, my son, and even let our dogs jump on him and give him kisses. Despite the tough conditions, he got the job done and got us safely back on the road with a solid new CV axle so we could make it home as planned. I'd hire Jim again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Jared,, the shop owner, has tons of experience installing these at previous shops, and I'm so glad we found him to do the job. My husband is more than pleased with the end result and of course was super happy with Jared's work. Our second visit was for a 60,000-mile service tune-up on my Toyota 4Runner. Just needed everything looked over, fluids added, tires rotated, etc. Nothing complex but maintaining your vehicle is important and Jared and his team were exactly who I trusted to do the job. Jared runs a top-notch shop. He's honest, offers competitive pricing, the shop is clean and efficient, and on top of that Jarrod is a nice guy. You automatically feel comfortable talking to him and his employees. It was easy to schedule both appointments. Erica gave us pricing in advance of our services. We received text confirmations of the appointments, which included the shop's address! After each service, we received a detailed inspection report and invoice as PDFs and via text. THEN, a couple of days after the work was complete, Equality Automotive called us to check in and see how things were going. What incredible customer service!!! My husband tends to do most of the maintenance on our vehicles, but we will absolutely bring our vehicles to Equality Automotive for anything outside of his scope, or even just for convenience. I trust Jared and his shop wholeheartedly and truly cannot recommend Equality Automotive enough!!

The next morning, I called about four different auto shops, and every one of them told me the earliest they could get me in was by Wednesday, and some were even booked out two weeks. I decided to look for shops that were open on Saturday, hoping I could get in sooner. That's when I came across A+ Automotive and Smog on Google. I gave them a call, and Christian answered. I explained what was going on and asked when they might have an opening. To my surprise, he said to bring it down that same day, and he'd take a look at it. He also recommended having it towed in, which I did. Shortly after, he sent me a text to confirm that my car had arrived at the shop. A couple hours later, Christian called and explained that the issue was a faulty ignition coil. He walked me through how he diagnosed it and gave me two options: replace just the one faulty coil or replace all six. He recommended replacing all six since they were the same age and, in his words, "once one goes bad, the others usually aren't far behind." He was transparent about the pricing. It would be around $700 for just one coil or $950 for all six. He explained that Ford charges significantly more for a single part, and the total difference was only about $200. I decided to replace all six, and just a few hours later, he called to let me know my car was ready. I told him I'd have to wait for my wife to get off work before I could pick it up, and he said that was no problem at all. When I picked it up later that evening, my car was running perfectly smooth again. Between the quick turnaround, honest pricing, and excellent customer service, I can confidently say I've found my new mechanic. From now on, both my wife's car and mine will be going to A+ Automotive and Smog. Highly recommend this shop!
