I have been the Seiberts many time over the years. I have lived in Salem since 1975 and there has been a few different operators. The current owners have done a great job with the staff, facility and most importantly the food. Way about average Pub food with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. My wife and I have had a good meal sharing some of their top notch apps. I would recommend anyone in the area to give them a shot and enjoy what they have to offer. Best reuben on the planet, hands down. Good Friday fish fry. They make the corned beef in house. Ok selection of craft beers as well. Can get crowded, the place is small. Wouldn't recommend to a group of more than 6. read more

Friendly and attentive staff. We had the wonton cheese Reuben egg rolls which u were great. I had the fish tacos and my wife had a mushroom cheeseburger. Both entrees did not disappoint. Seating is limited but we will be back again! read more

The Friday fish was good. The Reuben was amazing. Burger average. Overcooked. Service was good on Saturday afternoon and fair on Friday.

Best fish fry in the area. The food is great and the staff is nice. The place is tiny though so don't expect to go with a group of more than 4-6 and get seating. Very popular place, on a Friday evening the wait is usually at least 35 minutes. read more

Sieberts Pub is an excellent stop in a town with little to eat. The monkey fries are absolutely phenomenal; a loaf of fries smothered in cheddar cheese and applewood smoked bacon. The French Onion Soup is also wonderful. For wing lovers, the ginger sesame sauce is great. I'd recommend Sieberts any day! read more

I am changing my opinion of this place due to a couple recent visits. As a "regular", you might expect to get some certain perks. It seems like my wife and I don't even get eye contact from the owner and some of the servers. Excuse me?! 3 weeks ago we were passed up on the waiting list. Ok. It happens. But not one of the waitresses even took notice of how long we were sitting at the bar waiting for a table. I had to initiate the resolution and walked over to the sign-in area when I noticed we were passed like 6 customers ago. The owner comp'd our drinks but we left anyways. Principle. Last Friday we were there again and AGAIN we were treated as if we have never been there, not even a "how's it going?", or "hey! welcome back!". Nothing like that here, ever. So...... We'll give our money to a little pub called "Sandlots". Almost the exact same food with WAY, WAY more parking as well as eating areas. Great place to watch sports! Plus they recognize you and appreciate that you chose their place as opposed to all the other eatery options available. So good riddance Sieberts! You loose. read more

If you are looking for a Ruben this is the place to go! They have the best Rubens ever, fresh corned beef not lunch meat style, corn beef and cabbage style piled on rye with all the goodies. This place would be amazing if they held thier other menu items to the homemade, and quality standard they do thier Ruben. read more

The food was great. The wife and I split the monkey fries which are huge. Then we split the Ruben sandwich was great. The one thing that was fantastic about this place was the service. Our server was very very friendly, and accommodating. We were so full from the fries I mentioned to the server we would just split the Ruben sandwich. She took it upon herself to cut the sandwich in half for us, split our chips, and bring it out on two plates. I know it may not be a big deal for some, but in my opinion that kind of service is rare nowadays. I recommend this place and will definitely be returning. read more

If you have not stopped here in awhile please know it is a far cry from the "old" Sieberts. The "new" Sieberts is as trendy of an eatery as you will find for miles around. I heard the new owners are former interior designers which makes sense. The only thing (thank goodness) remaining from the old Sieberts is the landmark building. From what I have gathered it dates back to the 1800's and originally served as a hotel for workers harvesting ice from nearby Hooker Lake. The original layout remains and they have integrated some of the old signs into the decor. The food is certainly not cheap, but as the old saying go's, "you get what you pay for". They have a somewhat small, but diverse menu. During our last visit I had baked salmon while my wife enjoyed a burger. One thing they do which is rare for the area is spend time "presenting" the food on the plate. A few dishes have been presented as well as places I dined at in Chicago or Long Beach. Their beer selection is primarily micro brews which works given it is an upscale establishment, but they do offer a few domestics. Hopefully they will continue with their quest to be on the classy end for the area and not slide into being like everyone else. read more

Went with my family last week. Service was outstanding (waitress was attentive, but not pesty), and food terrific. I had a barbeque pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. It really was delicious. The restaurant isn't large, but holds a surprisingly large number of people. We will definitely return. read more

Great Rueben sandwiches! I have never found a better Rueben than at Siebert's. Definitely a place to stop and have a beer and sandwich.

I've lived in the area all my life, and I've never been to Sieberts until last night. I was very impressed with the service, food, and atomosphere. Our group has the fish fry (perch and cod) and a chicken sandwich. The food was excellent! The decor is clean, relaxed and charming. The prices are reasonable, but not the cheapest around. This place is great. Have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. The prices are right for the area. Serve Coke products, which is a bonus. The bartender turned us on to Rueben eggrolls which are fantastic, as is the rueben sandwich. Have tried many of the menu items and the food and presentation has been excellent. read more

This is a historic building that is very nice on the inside. I had the Rueben sandwich which was excellent and one of their many tap beers.

Siebert's has some of the best food in Salem! Their Reuben sandwich is the best I have ever had. You can order for pick up and it's usually ready within 10-15 minutes. Their salads are good, but they need a better selection of dressings. read more

Stopped on my way home from Wisconsin and the service was very friendly and prompt. I had the Reuben sandwich and it was one of the best I have had. Definitely worth a stop if you're int he neighborhood. read more

Great location for lunch after golfing, dinner with the family or just out enjoying some spirits with your friends. Good prices and even better service. As a resident of Kenosha county for 20 years I have realized that we don't take the most pride in the quality of our food. However, when I stumbled upon this gem I changed my mind completely. The food is delicious for the price. The atmosphere is quaint yet hip. The bartenders are great and friendly. Truly exceeded my expectations as a Salem, Wi pub.
