Was in town for work! Went and grabbed lunch at this cute cozy place. They have some neat decor with some beautiful birdcages. Food was Spectacular and service was friendly. They accommodate gluten free diets and take the time to ask questions. If I'm ever back in town I'll visit them again!

Buy the staff a round of drinks please!! (I'm not staff, but found this to be so clever)

Paddy Coughlins was a recommended restaurant when visiting someone at Fort Atkinson hospital. My brother and I were delightfully surprised at just how adorable this lil treasure was and the food??? Absolutely EXCELLENT ! We are at the bar and couldn't have had better service, atmosphere, dinner & dessert ‼If you find yourself in the Fort Atkinson area, you MUST give them a visit!

Big chef in a small kitchen is pumping out some darn good eats! Our unruly group of 20+ was served perfectly in the cozy basement room. They even somehow got all our checks right.

scotch eggs, and rueben egg rolls.

we came here while driving thru town. i was glad we stopped. the food was very good and flavorful. waitress was attentive and had a great attitude. we will definitely be back again.

Was extremely busy when we got there; the server never let our glasses go empty and was friendly. The vibe is warm, friendly, and welcoming. Food was amazing!

Pretty limited on drinks. Atmosphere very pub like and great social distance between tables. Pretzel was a little disappointing. Not worth the $15. Whiskey burger was an absolute delight. Serving staff was friendly and attentive. A little pricey and the food really took a long time. Probably 30 min. Looks like they have a good variety of food.

The deluxe grilled cheese sandwich.

This is a great, small, beautifully decorated pub located just off of Main Street. They offer many different food items, and have an great drinks menu as well. I liked all of the decor in the building, which included different photographs, painting, and vintage signs. The service was also great, and we liked our server that we had. If you are visiting I would recommend this pub for some good food and drinks at a reasonable price!

Great service and amazing drinks. I'm not sure I've ever had a bad meal here. Would recommend the Guinness cake.

Wonderful neighborhood bar! Friendly service, yummy cocktails and some of the best fish fry in Fort Atkinson.

House of Guinness is a classic staple of night life in Waukesha. Dim lighting, dark wood walls and…read morebar, and live music. This the perfect place for conversation, as you can actually hear yourself talk in here. Refreshingly, there are only a few (maybe two?) TVs in the place. They are only on for the World Cup, Packers game, and sometimes Brewers/Bucks if you ask, otherwise it's alternative music playing through an iPad. The taps are filled with imports, as well as some local crafts. The back bar is filled with not just Irish whiskey, but other impressive whiskey/bourbon. Oh, and since the new ownership took over their cocktail game has been strong, which is a warm welcome to Waukesha. Their cocktail menu shifts with the season and features their housemade bitters. The food menu is limited to Emil's pizza, Milwaukee Pretzel Co pretzel with cheese and mustard, and Pop's Kettlecorn. Oh, and how could I forget that they offer free kettle chips. For Packer games I've seen them offer brats or hot ham rolls, among other food patrons have brought in to share. My favorite thing about HoG? Whiskey Club. Come in anytime, get a sheet at no cost, and start drinking some whiskey/bourbon. The goal? Drink 40 different whiskeys. Along the way you'll get incentives, like a whiskey on the house, free pint of beer, etc. Once you hit 40 you're hand a button up shirt and are officially a member. Members have access to special meetings where the bar will be shutdown to just members for speciality tastings, classes and more. Oh, don't just stop at 40, there is an 80 level, and even a 100 level! For someone with little understanding of whiskey other than I like it in my old fashioned, hah, I'm 13 whiskeys in and I've already learned a lot. The bartenders are eager to share their whiskey wisdom, as are other patrons. If I had to list a negative... I wish the food menu was just a tiny bit bigger, as after three double pours of whiskey I need some kind of real sustenance. Perhaps something like a chip dip for the kettle chips and baked chicken wings, since they do not have a full kitchen/fryer.

We walked in, sat down, and were not greeted for at least 10 minutes, all-the-while, the bartender…read morelaughed, pompous as can be, and pretended she didn't see us (while glancing at us every 20 seconds). Our party of 3 sat there for 7-10 minutes with no service. Fast forward, the bartender proceeded to give IMMENSE amounts of attitude. She gave multiple dirty looks, while treating us as we were not welcome(all while ignoring us). We collectively ordered a round of espresso martinis (which previously was ordered and received a month-ish ago) and apparently that day they "don't have it on the menu". HOG was one of my favorite bars, prior to this horrid experience, I would always recommend HOG to visitors. Its ambience, location, prices and welcoming atmosphere were unmatched. However, if I walked in and saw that bartender, I would immediately leave.
