    Greek Salad (Small)
    Nikki H.

Service: Katelyn was very attentive throughout the meal. Food: We had a Greek salad, cheese pizza, Protein pizza, and chicken buffalo dip. All very good! Pizza had a really good cheese pull on it. Protein pizza packed with meat, and quite filling. Ambiance: nice spot for indoor or outdoor seating. I have been here a few times over the years and the place has not changed much. Clean and great food!

Sidewall's take on a Greek salad.

From the decor, it's apparent that this site used to be an automobile repair shop. I wonder if the walls still roll up like a garage door. I was greeted as soon as I entered, and invited to sit anywhere. They have an unusual take on the Greek salad. Spring mix is the base. Roasted red peppers & sundried tomatoes add to the less ordinary ingredients. The kalmata olives are tasty, but the feta tastes more like White Stilton cheese. I frequent the area, so I will return to try other dishes.

What a special place! I can honestly say this is one of the top pizza places I've been to. While I was expecting some kind of "sauce on top" stuffed pizza, their take was amazing. The beer menu was extensive and the service friendly. The place was a bit loud for an elderly person with hearing issues on a Saturday night, but not outside of what I would expect for a great spot on a weekend.

This was my birthday pizza from Sidewall. Definitely make sure that you sign up for their birthday club, cuz it's totally worth it! We shared an apple salad and the pizza, and the flavors of both were balanced perfectly. The vegetable pizza changes seasonally, and right now you can get a delicious garlic sauce, blue cheese, squash, and shaved brussel sprouts. It was so good that I ordered another one from the Cleveland Street location the next week! Healthy, clean food.

pear pizza (seasonal) with fresh mozz instead of blue cheese

As someone who has been coming to sidewall for several years, it's unequivocally the best pizza shop in the upstate. Everything is always consistently good and do not sleep on their seasonal pizzas (peach, pear, potato, etc.). If you're thinking appetizers, the breadsticks are great; they're massive and a classic if there were one. The spinach and artichoke dip is incredible and absolutely worth the price. I definitely find myself going out of my way to visit sidewall whenever I'm in town. This visit we got the acclaimed(?) seasonal pear pizza, subbing out the blue cheese for fresh mozz instead. New pizza to 2023, but definitely not new to us. It's become a regular. The honey drizzle on top of the pizza is a nice touch *chefs kiss* and wish it had more honey. I will say that you can't go wrong with most any of their pizzas. You also have the option to build your own pizza if you're into that. I attached several photos of various pizzas as this Yelp page was lacking photo wise. The ice cream is really good, homemade and the flavors are on a rotating basis so grab some during your visit if you like the current flavor. The only occasional downside are their hours. Be sure to check their Instagram before heading out as they seem to close sporadically for events, weather, etc.

I arrived a little early, so she sat me in a little waiting area until my table was ready and offered me a drink. I went on the weekend, and it was very busy for brunch at Bluegrass Brunch. I sat outside; it was gorgeous sitting on the patio with a view of the swamp rabbit trail and listening to the live band play. The waitress came over and took my order; the food was a little slow arriving, but it was packed, and I did not mind. I started with the Cinnamon Roll, which to me was all about the icing, which you could put on a piece of cardboard, and it would taste good, so to me, that was a win, but it wasn't your typical Cinnamon Roll; it was more like a dinner roll with icing on it, so if you plan on it being like one you would get in a mall, it is not; this is elevated, not as sweet, and a lot less cinnamon, which I enjoyed. For my main course, I got the Top Soil Breakfast, which was two eggs. I got them over medium with extra crispy bacon, and it was so thick and delicious. I also got breakfast potatoes, which were so nice and crispy, and do yourself a favor and ask for the homemade hot sauce; omg, the hot sauce was so good! I need to see if they sell that next time I am there; it was so good. All in all, it was a perfect breakfast with great quality food and great service. I will be back.

We were seated quickly and enjoyed a good cup of coffee while admiring all the totally decadent meals being served around us. There was a cinnamon roll that was huge with so much frosting on it. If I could've ordered that and handled that I would have, however, there was no way, but the people who ordered it seemed to love it, and I was impressed. The French toast was great, all the bread was sliced so thick! We ordered a sourdough bread that was yummy too. There's a beautiful bar seen inside and it's a lovely setting.

I chose 6 wings each with Alabama White and Pineapple Mango sauce. Delicious! Boys ordered a 14-inch cheese pizza, which was decent, but they loved it so that's all that matters on their end. Hubby got a Chicken Melt with Waffle Fries. Those waffle fries were the best I've ever had - yes, better than Chick-Fil-A - GASP!! Everything came out piping hot. I'm not sure, if it's the owner's wife, but a lady also bakes cakes, pies, cupcakes and more yummy sounding treats - 48 hours notice required for orders. The lady who was behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. I believe they're also associated with 3 Oaks Cafe & Catering further south on Geer Hwy. The ambiance is no thrills, which is perfect when eating out with children. Another awesome part was the price (due to the wings, obviously); I mean, where else can you order all of the above items and pay less than 40 USD? Happy yelping!

Which threw me completely off. I was so excited. Got home. Opened the my order. It was incorrect. Part 2: I called back advising the pasta selection was wrong. The young lady who I'm assuming was a just server kept having to put me on hold to speak to her manager. Per "management"I was given two options. Either they exchange my order or get my refund. I then spoke about who was going to pay for my gas having to go all the way back to the restaurant and pick up the correct order. I was put on hold once again. Per "management" she bargained either I can come back and get my correct order and also get 50% back or I can just get something for free another day. I told her I was gonna go with option number one and I also said deal. She then acknowledged and we both hung up. Part 3: Left my house. Got there. Turned in my incorrect order. Server takes it back. Her and the manager come back seconds later to meet me at the register. She then tells me that they can give me my money back. Or they can give me the right order. I advised her that that is not what we agreed on over the phone. I told her that if I was told to bring this order back that I will get my Wright order and also 50% back of my money to cover for the gas that I had to Waste to get back to the restaurant in order to get my order correct. She started to give me the runaround. I feel like she gave up really quick and offered me my money back immediately. And then proceeded to say that I came back for the order that I initially wanted in the first place. She made me wait five minutes. I got my order and went home. Food review: 7.5 out of 10. The farfalle was cooked to perfection. Could've provided more pasta concerning it's a pasta dish. Chicken could've used a little bit more time on the grill. Sauce was good, but I feel like it was too much sauce. Or not enough pasta the balance was not there. This is not authentic Italian food. This is Latino Italian style food. I was definitely getting a Mexican style ambience as I entered the building. Staff review: 3 out of 10. Servers need to pay more attention to details over the phone. Just slow down. Management needs to communicate more with what's being said and agreed with pawn over the phone with customers with incorrect orders. Price review: 4 out of 10. $21.60 is a little over priced. For $18/19 I could understand. You have different pastas and meats. I just so happen to get Farfelle and chicken Alfredo. Also In a bag came 3 garlic breads (6/10). I would just add more pasta on the smaller pastas that take up less space in a dish. String pasta plates get filled up to the top (hint: my initial incorrect order observation). My 2nd final and correct order seemed to only be filled up 45% of the dish. Add more food to your customers plates. I also did not receive napkins and silverware. Overall: 2 stars.
