    Supreme pizza - wonderful!
    Kurt P.

Dinner for two here the other night. Interior is delightful with lots of history, everything was nice and clean. Service was friendly and attentive. Menu has a little bit of everything, heavy on burgers, sandwiches and pizza. We had a beer before dinner which was welcome after a long day on the road. Decided to split a Supreme pizza which was plenty for 2 plus some cold pizza for breakfast the day after. It's an American tasting pizza with a thin crust and plenty of tasty toppings. Great choice. For desert we split a slice of cherry pie ala mode - tasted like canned pie filling, but still hit the spot. This was our first stop in Caliente, but if we pass through again we would definitely return to the Side Track.

Thank you to my fellow Yelpers for directing me here. Everyone was right the service and food are top notch. They had a few big groups and several other customers but our order came out quickly and hot and fresh. We opted for a pizza and an appetizer and we ended up taking more than 1/2 home since it was pretty big! It warmed up well and was delicious reheated or cold as leftovers. The ladies were all friendly and it's definitely the best place in town so if you're passing through they have a good menu with lots of choices so stop in.

I stopped here for a quick lunch while leaving Panaca. I traveled in for work just for a few hours. The food was delicious, great portions and even better service. The server was perfect! Also, they sell homemade Bundt cakes. No lie--best thing I've ever eaten.

I don't find myself in Caliente, Nevada, as often as I used to, but when I am it is all about a meal at the Side Track. This Harley Davidson themed restaurant lies in a strip mall just on the other side of Highway 93 across the tracks. The staff are welcoming and even though a sign at the door says "wait to be seated" usually you can pick your spot. The menu is full of options, but not so many as to be overwhelming (I'm looking at you Cheesecake Factory!). We were a little late for breakfast, so we settled in for lunch. There are a variety of burgers and sandwiches and dinner style meals. We ordered the patty melt and the Knucklehead burger which comes with onion rings on it. While we waited for the sandwiches, we both used the bathrooms and happy to report they were both clean and well stocked. They are single hole so be brief in getting your business done, there could be someone waiting. The food was excellent, the meat on the sandwiches were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fries were the best I have had in a long time. I can say that the burger bun was brioche, and it was soft and buttery. The rye bread on the patty melt was good and toasted well. The Side Track was a perfect place to get off the highway for a bit and refuel us to keep headed north. I was sad we didn't make good enough time to catch breakfast, but now I know that the Side Track kicks ass on lunch and dinner too!

    Local history

The attached menu pages are from the old menu. Sadly the Side Track Cafe no longer offers gluten free pizza or buns/bread for sandwiches and burgers. We were able to navigate the menu and piece together a gluten free meal. Tonight's service was a little spotty. The hostess forgot to give anyone menus and the server seemed confused several times. Overall it was a good meal in an area with very few options. Side Track co tinges to serve fresh salads and has a nice selection of beers.

    Affordable beers!

We loved it! What a perfect surprise when we're camping 20 miles away and the weather got bad. Cold affordable large mugs of beer, great burgers, many salad and healthy options for my wife. The service was excellent! The atmosphere was excellent! This honkytonk was perfect.

This is honestly a great find in Caliente. The food and staff are excellent! The menu has been posted several times, so you can see they have a great variety of food to choose from. I came over for dinner one night and was glad to see they offered up some excellent pizza. The lady helping me even said it was the best! Came over on Sunday morning for breakfast and found that I made a great choice in doing so. Both meals I had here were well made and pleasing to the taste buds. It's great to see that they take pride in their little restaurant and wish to provide their customers with a happy experience.

Solid meal at a place that's popular with both locals and tourists. Did an excellent burger and a fancy salad. Both were great.

Xetava is located in the Kayenta Art Community, so you can eat and explore. The restaurant is lovely and beautifully decorated. We started with a Honey Lavender Latte served in a large mug. The latte from start to finish was perfect. Every sip had the honey lavender taste. Next, we ordered two appetizers. Keep in mind, this was our first visit. We tried the Cajun Brussel Sprouts and the Street Corn dip. Any problems? YES - the orders were huge, so we over achieved a bit. Both appetizers were excellent. We elected to concentrate on the corn dip and chips and took the sprouts (that easily could feed four people) home. The sprouts were served with a peach chutney. Divine! Next up, we both chose the CHIPOTLE CHICKEN CLUB - a grilled chicken breast, lettuce, avocado, tomato, provolone, smoked bacon, chipotle sauce, on sourdough bread, served with Cajun fries. Huge sandwich (also packed after a few bites to head home). The sandwich was wonderful. The Cajun fries are cut in shoestrings and were some of the best fries we've had. Can't forget the wait staff - friendly and outstanding service. Bonus: if time permits take a ride into Santa Clara about 2-3 miles north from Xeteva. Check out the grocery store - Harmons. Summary: Take the ride. We were not disappointed, plus the scenery is beautiful.

5-Star Review: Spiritual Speakeasy - A Hidden Gem Cocktail Parlor in Downtown St. George…read moreIf you're in St. George and craving a night out that feels worlds away from the typical Utah bar scene, Spiritual Speakeasy (2 W St. George Blvd #5, right at Ancestor Square) is an absolute must. It's not just another spot--it's a true speakeasy-style cocktail lounge with that perfect moody, intimate Prohibition-era vibe. Think dim lighting, plush vintage settees and ornate seating that feels like stepping into a gothic 1800s parlor, gilded mirrors, stone crosses, and an electric yet cozy energy that's ideal for date night, a special occasion, or just unwinding with friends. Spiritual Speakeasy Bar (2026) - All You MUST Know Before You Go (with Reviews) The cocktails here are next-level--award-winning (they've taken Best Bar in Southern Utah multiple times, and it shows). I went with the Smoked Old Fashioned (beautifully balanced, smoky perfection with premium spirits) and the Spicy Dead Lady (a creative, flavorful kick that's become a favorite). They also do standouts like Espresso Martini, Pornstar Martini, Skull Chapel, and Holy Grail, all crafted with top-shelf ingredients including Utah's own High West whiskeys. The bartenders are true mixologists--super knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to chat about the spirits or customize something just for you. Spiritual Speakeasy - St. George, UT | joe coffee It's open daily from 5 PM to 1 AM (or 2 AM some nights), with live DJs on weekends adding to the lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. It's intimate (can feel a bit cozy/crowded when busy), and the music can get loud, but that's part of the electric speakeasy charm. Service is attentive, though it can slow down on peak nights--totally worth it. In a town not exactly known for wild nightlife, this place punches way above its weight. Sophisticated, fun, and unexpectedly upscale. We've already made it our go-to whenever we're in St. George. If you love craft cocktails and a unique vibe, hunt it down--you won't regret it. Highly recommended! (Pro tip: Look for the hidden entrance vibe--they make it feel like a real discovery.)

We were able to be seated without an issue, they just opened around the time we came in. The ambiance was cool & different & the secret door was a cool touch. Drinks were great. Loved the variety they offered. I took a star off because the guy who checked our IDs in the front didn't tell us it was open seating, so we just stood there waiting to be helped not knowing what to do if we can sit anywhere , or needed to wait. The bartender didn't stop to welcome us , or let us know it was open seating. We aren't locals, nor have we been before, so standing there without any direction was kind of not welcoming. Overall, it was a cool vibe, drinks were good, however not sure if I would return when I do come into town.
