After completing my 3 months of TMJ treatment with Dr. Solomon I am finally ready to spill all the details about my experience. I suffered from severe TMJ. My jaw would lock and pop loud when I'd eat burgers, sandwiches, or even salads! Mornings were the worst for me. I'd wake up with headaches every morning and my jaw would be so tense, sometimes I was scared to yawn. It was horrible. TMJ was consuming the life out of me. After doing research and watching Dr. Sid's videos I scheduled a consultation with him as my last resort. Dr. Sid told me that getting rid of 50% of my symptoms was better than no percent at all and the worst thing he could do to me was leave me the way I already was. He was absolutely right. They over exceeded my customer service expectations. The ladies are extremely friendly and personable! not to mention Beautiful!!! He has an amazing group of people working for him, After 3 months of wearing my orthotic, my symptoms have reduced tremendously!! When I don't sleep with my orthotic my jaw goes back to stage one, but its avoidable. Although the results are not permanent they've definitely been a life changer and very helpful! I avoid foods that require a lot of chewing because my jaw begins to pop again or I chew slowly. Its not as bad as it use to be though. I have been going to Dr Solomon for about 4 years. First started off with general exam, cleaning work. Was extremely pleased with the work. I always have anxiety dealing with going to the dentist. I love how they listen and pay attention to my needs and concerns. Next big step in 2012 was my 2 step gum graffing surgery. WOW painful procedure. BUT I couldn't imagine being with any other doctor. The staff was incredible for comforting me from begging to end. They even gave me their cell # incase I needed to get in touch with them during my 1 week of healing. Truly amazing. I wish other doctors and staff were this accommodating. Then last week June 2013 I went in for teeth whitening Zoom II, wow my results were amazing. Its so funny how you are able to watch a movie while you are being bleached. I guess that's the state of the art dentist office that I am involved with ha ha. Its nice to be able to occupy your time with a movie while getting a procedure done. My overall opinion is that Dr Solomon's office and staff are truly one of a kind. I found CCIND through a deal with Rush 49, which gave a dental exam, x-rays, teeth cleaning, and a take home whitening kit for $39. When I called to make an appointment, they could not find my deal, and that day their computers were down, so I asked the male receptionist if they work with Rush 49 deals (this was my 1st deal from this company), and he kept telling me that the computers were down and to call back later. I had to approach the question into different ways until he finally said, that yes, they do work with Rush 49. So there was a little miscommunication. Later in the afternoon, I walked in and they were able to see me. They were fantastic! The staff was very friendly and hospitable throughout my visit. They offered me water, headphones to listen to music, a blanket and a pillow. The actual procedure was quick and painless. I hate going to the dentist because that silver pick that is used for going in between the teeth always hurts. I barely felt any discomfort at this portion, which was a huge relief. And they got all of the tea stains out. I have been to other dentists who left stains on my teeth after the cleaning and tried to justify them. This was the whitest I had seen my teeth after a basic teeth cleaning. They also gave me freebies (tooth paste, mouth wash, and a t-shirt) to take home. The only disappointing thing was the dental mouth tray in the take home whitening kit. Usually the trays are in the mold of your teeth, so I was surprised to see what looked like just a regular mouth guard, but the Dr. assured me that it works, so I tried it. The tray never formed to my mouth, and there was a lot of discomfort, so the next night, I used my regular retainers, and that worked much better. Straight to the point, I have been a TMJ victim for over 7 years. I have suffered all kinds of symptoms and tried all possible remedies in the book to the point that I became a TMJ pro in my own way. Never heard of a dentist pulling a bait-and-switch, but this one does. After making and confirming an appointment for panoramic x-rays, Dr. Solomon emails me to ask if I absolutely need panoramics. I read a review on Dr. Sid which really touched my heart and I am glad that it did- because he is a "true find." I had an appointment at 2:00 and walked in with all my paperwork already filled out- because his website allows you to do all that in the comfort of your home on your time so you don't waste time doing it in the office. Like clock work, I was seated at 2:05. He came in and introduced himself. 5 stars on the personality! He was kind, polite, took his time, and examined every centimeter of my mouth. He then asked his assistant to take some x-rays, which was a breeze. After this, Dr. Solomon came back in and went over absolutely EVERYTHING with me- not skipping one beat! Dr. Solomon was different. He took his time and really made me understand what was going on with my mouth. The work he did was painless and FAST! I LOVE THIS DENTIST!!! I know its hard for someone to say that but truly exceptional staff and work. My fiance was having some tooth pain so we went to a dentist that came recommended from our insurance company. Well when we went in he informed her that she had to get her wisdom teeth pulled and then a bone graph for $800!!!! Something seemed off so we ended up leaving the office. My friend highly recommended Dr. Solomon and man am I glad she did because they are truly AMAZING!!! The receptionist was very nice and quick to help us as soon as we walked in. When my fiance was in and explained the situation Dr. Solomon not only listened but really explained to her in detail the procedure, as well as aftercare and what to expect. Guess what else? NO BONE GRAPH NEEDED!!!! The other dentist was trying to make a quick $800 because our insurance did not cover that. The tools and office are extremely clean and you feel that you are in good hands. From what my fiance told me, Dr. Solomon was very gentle and she barely felt the procedure. The other great thing was we were contacted by the office a couple of days later to see how she was doing. It just shows how much they care about their patients. We have now made Dr. Solomon our primary dentist and have been recommending him to all of our friends. I turned in my paperwork and the assistant took me in right away. I was a bit anxious, but I must say, as soon as I met Dr. Sid, HE PUT MY FEARS TO REST. He did a complete exam. He was very pleasant, very soothing and so very patient. Then after the exam, he went OVER EVERYTHING WITH ME SO CAREFULLY. I felt he really cared for me and wanted the best for me. He was GENUINE, CARING, and KIND. When it came to finances, I told him I was not in the best economic situation right now and he totally made me feel like I was not alone. He went over the procedures one by one and planned out the best way to prioritize the work I needed. Anyway, I had my cleaning , WHICH WAS AMAZING, and he filled a cavity for me. A warm welcome as soon as I open the door! And a comfortable seating area to boot. Being that is was my first time there, a lovely woman gave me a full tour of the facilities. They've achieved a great balance of modern, clean, and comfortable. After the grand tour, she offered me a sit in the relaxation room (with massage chair), while I wait for my room to be ready. Once seated in my room, Dr. Solomon promptly came in and greeted me. He gave me a thorough inspection, followed with x-rays. Super friendly, professional, and totally not abrasive. After my given my dental plan, a really friendly hygienist performed my cleaning. I was out the door in under an hour.
