My son had a minor crash wherein he slid in the rain and whacked a curb with his front tire. I had it towed to the local shop who also provided the towing service. After looking at the damage and determining what needed fixed, they quoted me a price that was much higher then I expected. I decided to get a few different quotes and Sicilian's was recommended to me by a co-worker/friend. I met with Steve (the owner) and I told him what I was quoted based upon the damage sustained. Rather than take my word for it ( the damage), he went to the shop where I had it towed and personally looked at the damage. Within about an hour, I received a quote from Steve that came in more than half the cost of what I was quoted by the tow company. I had the car towed up to his shop and he had the work done in about 4-days. When he called to say it was done, he told me that the actual cost was exactly what he quoted me down to the penny. Very pleased with my first experience and will continue to take my vehicles there especially since the two other mechanic shops I use to go to both retired and closed up shop. read more

I was looking to get touch up paint for my car and I took it to Steve at Sicilian's to have him look up the code/color so I know what to order online. He couldn't find it on the car so he took down my number and said he had to contact the paint store to find out and he would later call me. Okay, fine, I understand it's a older car and sometimes you run into these things. I keep calling to find out if he's heard anything- nothing. Sometimes when I call, I get a high pitched beeping noise on the phone and no answer. It's been over a week and still no word yet. I've been going to this shop for over 15 years and the work was always great. I have even sent them a lot of work because I thought it was so great. I am not asking them to do any work, I just need information. I guess after all the business I gave them over the years, I am not very high on the priority list. I usually don't write a review on this stuff, but I expected better. I hate to ding them so many stars, but I come from a time and place that taught me to believe that if you are not satisfied with something, you have a right to bitch about it. read more
